 Hero alias: Mimic - Name due to her powers, the fact that her own hands have to mimic the persons that she is controlling with her ghost arms.Real name: Violet Amoroso - about as close to a human translation as her real name will come. Powers/abilities: * The two grey hands can retract into her back and stretch pretty far, but they can't become solid. * They're pretty much ghost hands that by contact of another person, she can control their hands. As a side-effect of the contact she has with the other person through her ghost hands, she can see bits and pieces of their memory/soul; just snippets. * Her real hands have to be mimicking the ghost hands too.

Eyes: Black, coal black....
Hair: Medium length with two longer side strands her bangs are also quiet long when resting flat to her head. A nice light green in color that seems to hold a few yellowish tones as well. It seems to sway with her movement more than normal hair, almost as if alive...Seemingly fashioned up with gel however its hard to tell unless you touch it if it is in fact gelled or is just standing up on its own...
Skin: Thistle colored just like all the other people of her planet however the male Naiddalian's are a darker thistle color.
Height:5'ft even
Weight: 87 pounds
Style She seems very attracted to blues, pinks and blacks. Since her home planet was so hot, she tends to dress in little to nothing up until it gets cold then she overdresses to keep her body temperature at the right level, sometimes can be mistaken for a walking pile of clothes. The symbol on her outfit stands for Nova Academy, which will be explained further later on.

Personality:
Easygoing: Violet is a very laid back, soft-spoken person. Which makes tends to make her easy to approach, appearance aside. Because she's so comfortable, seems to be a certain softness or sweetness that radiates from her. However due to her unhurried nature, and view of rushing is not always best some might find her a bit ..well lazy. But this isn't the whole true sure, she will take the occasional 'whats this break' but over all she is just a very low paced person the job will get done, maybe not on a timely manner but it will get done. When pushed out of her natural relaxed comfort, she is more withdrawn and a bit ...on edge, more or less going from calm and friendly to shy and fidgety.
Adventurous: Don't let her mellow side fool you, Violet is all for taking a few risk and well honestly easily talked into them, however well..on the adventures she's like your slightly stoned friend the one that's normally in the back finding all the weird and funny things around you. She enjoys a good thrill just like the next person erm..alien? She yearns for new experiences which is one of the reasons she joined Nova Academy and even though she is scare and a little disoriented with being stranded in Megapolis she can't wait to get into the new academy and start-up new adventures...
Persistent: Even if it takes awhile to get herself motivated once she starts something she is not one to quit even if she fails one hundred and one times at it, she will get back up and right back on it. Her grandfather would always tell her, being an easy-going guy himself, that they might not win the race but they will sure finish it and that's what matters. Over her years she has learned its very good to be persistent as it really does pay off in most cases.
Gullible: Violet is very easily persuaded into believing most things that have to do with Earth considering she has never been here before. She is actually a very trustful soul which will probably tend to get her into trouble with the more mischievous sidekicks at the academy. But she feels everyone deserves a chance and if you haven't given her a reason to doubt you well..why not believe you? However gullible Violet is, she is not stupid, another words fool her once shame on you, fool her twice shame on her. She will learn from her mistakes after finding out something is not right,, she will tend to not be as fond or friendly of whoever has tricked her so to speak, then again she's easy-going so she just might find it funny granted you don't talk her into doing something that will get her into to much trouble.
Intelligent: Even if she is pretty laid back and seemingly lazy, Violet has a brilliant brain, granted her gullible side plays into this and might make her seem not very bright but you've got to take into consideration she has never been here before...so everything is new. But if it comes to anything alien she is your girl. A quick learner and even quicker if its hands on learning.
Hobbies:
A current hobby would be making charms from random things for people, trinkets and the like.
Daydreaming could be considered a hobby for as much time as she spends doing it.
**Other hobbies I'd like to wait and have her develop considering she just arrived here, maybe a future friend will get her into something ? ....
Favourite food: Sour foods seem to be a favorite at least here . She doesn't seem to eat meat other than fish, but seems more inclined to snack on veggies and fruits and really prefers soda over water.

Strengths:
Great memory: Thanks to her ability to see people's memories, Violet has trained her mind to be quite strong. She can remember almost anything that is told to her or she has 'seen'. But with this strength can come some rather haunting moments depending on what it is she ends up seeing, since for the time being she is only catching bits and pieces of people's memories. But basically her mind is like an elephants she never forgets. All the information that has ever passed her is conveniently all up top for a moment's recollection. As such she'd be a joy to have along on a memory game or if you ever got lost...
Permanent gas-mask : Due to all the gasses on her home world, the ones here don't affect her so if you happen to have a leak please don't rely on her to be of any use. However if you are ever in need of a sidekick that can withstand a blast of sleeping gas, toxic gas or something of the like she's your girl! I suppose this also counts for if you happen to let one rip near her...she's likely to not notice so wouldn't hold it against you..
Pressure points: Violet is actually trained well in the art of finding and pushing pressure points. Mostly do to having to help the government of her planet before they allowed her to go to the academy, so she had to have some kind of 'protection' means other than her ghost arms to help out if something in the meetings went wrong and her government official needed her. Since she physically isn't very strong this was the best option for her, considering you don't have to be strong, you just have to know where to hit to take out your enemy. ... Though with new creatures she will be curiously trying to learn human pressure points...so beware if she is giving out free massages...Think vulcan death grip and such.
Weaknesses:
C-c-cold: Thanks to being use to such hot weather on her home planet Violet is extremely susceptible to the cold. Her small size doesn't really help the matter either as she cannot really produce much body heat being so tiny, as well as her body was more designed to cool than warm.
Flashbacks: A slight side effect, while Violet has developed a sharp memory due to her powers she has also developed a weakness because of them. Being able to see into people's memories isn't all sunshine and rainbows as not all memories are good are they? As such, Violet is haunted with the more ...dark memories of people and at times this hinders her ability to fight, say she happens to be inside a construction zone at night, then a flashback hits her of someone else that was possibly chased in one at night it's almost as if this is happening to her so...Violet will run and hide. She gets very upset and retreats when a flashback has spooked her. Mostly these happen at night and will get worse the more she uses her abilities on those with not such fond memories... and gets the side effect of their memories.
Wimpy: Violet has never been physically strong and as such she's a bit of a wimp. Not one you will be finding the victor of wrestling matches or fist fights unless you count her beating them with their own fist? Maybe some intense phyical conditioning can help her out, but until that happens she's not the best to bring to a brawl unless ..you don't mind her not actually getting her hands dirty Or just knocking someone out, paralyzing them from pressure points?

General backstory: Violets childhood has been pretty normal other than the working for the monarch from a young age because of her powers. So as far as friends go, having to work for said government limited her social life so she was rather lonely before the decision to allow her to go to Nova came up. Considering she was the youngest among the other Naiddalians. But now she is starting a new year with high hopes! ... Only...she can't have them to high since there is no way she could make friends with a few of the other students lest she want the rulers of her own down her throat.
Although a little lonely due to her job, her parents were generally good to her, loving and such. Violet has a brother that visited her often before she was allowed to go to Nova Acadmey, he is a sweet boy that loved his younger sister to bad they were years apart and instead of friends they had a more...parental relationship.
Not all the people of Naiddal have 'ghost arms', the ones that do are held in high regard and expect to use the arms to help out with things of importance like meetings with other planets government to make sure they don't try to attack the Naiddal rulers. As the few with the ghost arms are specially trained to help be 'body guards ' of sorts and 'secret' weapons in times of war, there is also a small band of the 'gifted' that choose not to help out their government, which of course leads them to be called rebels. The rebels do anything to controlling 'bank workers' (just an alien version of such) arms to open safes of the banks or hand over money to other things that they must do to survive. If you are a member of the government group you will have a symbol on the palm of your hand, this is how people tell you apart on the planet so you are held in high regard and not shunned.
The reason this is mentioned is because Violet had a love interest that was a rebel Naiddalian.. however after he refused to help the monarch take control over another planets leader and kill him, the boy was outlawed and Violet never saw him again, though he did continue to keep in contact with her by sending her things like beads and gems, thus spawning her love of creating charms.
Motivation for entering academy: Well a crash landed alien hasn't much a choice does she? The crash landing has her confused, disorientated and sticking close to the teacher that was with them since this world is strange and well she doesn't really speak this language like most of the other students.
Planet Information: Planet Name: NaiddalPlanet Function: Manufacturing/Processing Government: MonarchyWorld: Mountain's cover the western part of the land, however there are no trees left on the planet and it's not even remembered if there ever were anything like a tree on it. Mines run the entire planet with the exception of under the mountains, which you would think would limit the building of plants however thanks to the advances in technology they've figured out a way to hover their buildings over the planets ground so they don't just fall through into the mines.
What water is on the planet rest in the mountain area and is piped down into the city, water has a limit on how much you can use a day though the people of the planet really do not need water to survive so without it they would be just fine.
The rest of the planet is the large floating industrial looking city.. see pic refs below - * also note the gas in the air does not affect their home other than color of the air around the city's that hold factories and it has also made the planet very hot, but it was naturally hot to begin with. There are several cities over the planet, ones that are towards the mountains hold no factories that produce the gasses which is why their sky is blue and not the brownish orange color.

* Also note, how it may look like earth type buildings but they are made from harder more durable metals and glass type materials.
*Also note, water is blue, the sky is normally is as well other than over the cities that have factories their skies are a brownish orange color, but again the gasses have no effect on them and the only one on the planet is the temp and color of the sky, which was naturally hot to begin with..
**Animals here are weird, there are no zebras or horses or dogs or cats. There are things called Xliants that are much like cats only with three eyes and are blue, but companions none the less.

Their hair colors range from green, orange, blue, pink, red or silver however it seems only very powerful Naiddalian's have silver hair. Food source: Crop wise they don't grow many things, typically their food supply comes from other planets that they trade with but the cities in the mountains have natural foods to live off of, like earth they have markets and other such things for the aliens to purchase foods at that other planets bring in.Products: They gather natural things from the mountains and waters to sell but most of the products they make are from the mines that run under the entire planet. Taking gems and such from them to make weapons, jewelry, outfits and other things. Thus giving them ample amounts of an alien equivalent to silver, gold, diamond and rarer types gems.

The alien ship is merely a small group of students on a school trip to pick up some rare gas samples for their Advanced Gastromancy class. Something went wrong and they just suffered a crash landing here on Crantel. They're sore, confused, and disoriented, but they have a mature, experienced teacher along that seems to have their head together. Otherwise, who knows what chaos would transpire...oh, wait, it happened at night, the aliens don't speak our language, and the teachers sleep like the dead. We have a problem... -- taken from second page of event thread - props to whoever <33

Okay, just a few artistic notes I'd like to mention...
By the way, I love that you described her looks. The only thing I have on that is... Her eyes aren't closed. Her eyes are just black, sorry if they looked closed. xD;;
That's really my only qualm on your looks-description. Hope that's alright.
And on the power thing.
The 'seeing memory snippets' is really just a side-effect. It can't be controlled.
I hope that was helpful, sorry if it puts a damper on some of the things you've established already.
So with that said... The gullible trait you've got going may want to be revised into specifically being gullible about Earth-related things? Since it sort of contradicts the intelligent trait.
That's really as far as I've gotten because this is so long. 8D;;
I'll read the rest when I feel less lazy, but so far it's looking very good I think!

I can understand you giving her this trait because she's on a new planet and everything, but do you think this applies to her overall personality as well? Is she trusting enough to give everyone she meets for the first time a chance?

I'm a little confused by your first statement. Is she unaffected by gases or not? The first one seems to suggest she'll be useless in case of a gas leak, but the others are more like "I'm invincible in a gassy situation". I'm kinda assuming you meant she's impervious to gases yes?
Cold and body size
This is a really useless fact, but I read somewhere that Eskimos tend to be really small sizes so that they can retain body heat, its a natural thing that happened over time. Which means Violet's small size is actually pretty ideal for retaining heat! * 3*b
Memory
I'm pretty sure this is Shnazz's fault, but can she consciously try to access memories? I know she can control another person's hands and the "soul" part is a side effect, but if she wants to, can she do this with intention?
(And really why did he word it as soul when memory makes things easier lmao....)

don't mind me I'm just REALLY CURIOUS... does her race tend to mature quickly? Because you said she was already working and had a boyfrand before she even entered NA * A*!
also the govt is so extreme...... so all the handsy people HAVE to work in the govt? What happens to those who want to remain neutral? Do they still have to pick sides?
