The morning light was nice as the heat still hadn't come to blanket the world just yet. It was in this time Kaveri took a moment to drink. Her gold eyes staring at her reflection which rippled and danced on the water's surface. The sounds of the waking made her ears swivel to listen for threats as her tail gently beat against the grass. That's when she noticed him and stopped mid lap to stare. He had roses on his body. Not to mind the fact he had wings and was a god, not the roses stuck out like some bad joke.
Quirking an eyebrow at the male, she was still staring before she caught herself and hoped he hadn't. Dipping her eyes back to the water before her, she tried to keep her eyes focused until it felt like the words would burst.
"You're covered in roses." Stating like he didn't already know that.

 It was a good day. Not overly hot, not overly windy... just.. calm.
Santos felt equally calm as he padded through the lands, roses trailing behind in his footsteps and fully blooming for mere seconds before withering away in a bittersweet beauty. He was a sight that was hard to miss, all roses and armor and wings, but he'd gotten used to the stares. They came and went, sometimes awe, sometimes disbelief. He'd come across anger once or twice, even. It was all old news. It wasn't until her statement burst from her that he actually paid any mind to the leopardess.
He looked down for a moment, as if contemplating the surprise of finding a handful of roses covering his body, and the back up at her. "...So I am!"

He was teasing her, she could tell and that made her narrow her eyes. "Ok smart stuff." She gave just the barest hint of a growl, "Very funny." She turned back to the water and began lapping it up some more. She was still pretty thirsty. Still he was very pretty and the trail of roses was nice before they withered. However she didn't want to initiate another conversation because she already felt shamed. This was very unlike her in that moment.
Of all the times to be out on her own, she had to run into a god. Not that it wasn't a good thing, but it was difficult to get a handle on the situation.

He immediately felt bad for the gentle teasing. As she turned away he padded toward her, tilting his head. Was she mad at him? Seemed like it. That didn't make him feel too great either. "Hey," he coaxed with a soft voice. "Don't get all huffy..."
He dipped a jet black wingtip into the water she was drinking from and flicked it, spilling a few small droplets of water in her direction.
Santos was every bit your typical goofy male.

His trying to cheer her up was working a little. "I'm not getting huffy." She protested. Okay so she was getting a bit huffy, but she had a right to. The water hitting her made her giggle though, breaking her angry streak. "Hey!" Now she put a paw in the water and splashed water at the God, then realized what she did as she went to do it again. Was he going to be mad? Well let him!
This time she jumped into the water, dashing up water on both of them. "HA!" She laughed, coming out of the water soaked. Then she shook, adding tot he water she had already got on him. "I think its two for me big boy."

Water dripped from his mane and face, but he gave a wide grin anyways. "It's going to be like that, hm?" Without another word, he gave a powerful flap of his wings and pushed off from the ground. He rose, rose, rose, his feather appendages pushing land further and further below him. When it became difficult to see the leopardess's features anymore, he stopped.
His wings folded in close, his front paws tucked against his chest, and his legs and tail streaked behind him as he spiraled downward. He hit the water with a tremendous wave that breached the shore like a mini tsunami and, hopefully, drenched his friendly opponent. When he surfaced, he spit up some water and laughed. "I think that's like.. a million for me, ma'am."

Sputtering water from her mouth she gave him a playfully sour look. She was drenched but that she was used to. "That's cheating. You can fly. I can't. I'd say minus a million." Turning her sour look into a smile. "Kaveri." Putting a paw out to shake the others.
To be this close to a God and he was friendly. What a story to tell to Uzi! "What brings you to these lands, bored with your God duties already?" She honestly didn't know what they did with their time. They could easily just wander like any other.
Oh Uzi! She needed to get back to him. "I'm so sorry I just remembered I need to do something." Having asked a God questions and then so rudely turning away. Hopefully this wouldn't bite her in the butt. She dipped her head and turned away, taking her leave back to find Gebhuza.
