It is near noon and the sun is shining bright upon the country of Rocao. Citizens of all districts are wandering around the peaceful country now, that will be complete havoc later. The citizens were sure of this at least. No one knows exactly when a terrorist-like attack will occur from either G.O. or Dreamers, especially in districts 1 and 2.
The season is winter, although the sun shines brightly there is about an inch of snow on the ground, and is very chilly. You can even see your breath! Shops are busy in the districts, and G.O.s and Dreamers are either plotting their next attack against each other or wandering about. People of the neutral side are doing their same old same old odd jobs for shops, the G.Os or Dreamers. Some people may still be asleep, those bums... wake up and get going! Your journey starts now...

❝ THE ϲɑғғеɪɴе and ℜepeated glances. . .ALICE SOMMER ...left ɱе Sɦɑҡɪɳɠ, left ɱе Sɦɑҡɪɳɠ ❞ The sun shined brightly everywhere over Rocao. A young looking magi was still asleep in her very small apartment, you could almost call it a studio. She lived above an abandoned Alchemist shop in the downtown of the district of Middle 3. A crow nudged her beak against the unlocked window and made itself in the apartment. The bird flew to the Magi's bedside and pecked at her cheek. Then a nibble."Ow, Ow, OW. That hurt." The magi exclaimed and got up quickly scaring the crow, causing it to fly back near the window. "Stupid useless Kuro..." The magi sneered at the black bird and in response, the bird made it's loud annoying caw sound. The magi was annoyed and quickly pulled her covers away, grabing her lacy nightgown and putting it on in-case anyone was looking up at the window. A gust of air was helping the magi run across the room quickly in anger to scare the crow away. "Get out you pest." She opened the window quickly letting cold air into her alredy freezing room. The craw cawwed some more and quickly flew out of the room.
She closed the window quickly and shivered. Since she was up she walked back to her small room to change. The magi opened the closet to take out a dark lolita dress. Then opened a drawer at the bottom of her closet to take out a hair-dress to wear as well. She slipped out of her nightgown and put on her dress. She braided parts of her blonde hair before she put on the hair piece. After she finished getting dressed, she went to the door of her apartment and put on her shoes and took her black poncho to wear over the top of her dress to keep her warm. The magi grabed her laced umbrella then opened the door. Outside of her door was a dusty name plate. "Alice L. Sommer" it said. Alice began walking down the stairs to the outside, as soon as she put her foot out the door, she opened her umbrella and begain walking up the street of Middle 3.

「xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxWhat's the rush? Come lie in the sun....xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 」 Tobias had been up for a while now. He smiled to himself as the sun shined through the window, casting it's warming rays and softening the chilly atmosphere caused by the snow. He had just returned home from the iron foundry, and the smith's place. In District 4, it was strangely quiet. Maybe that was because outside was cold, thus keeping many residents cooped up in their houses. But not Tobias; he had all ready begun and finished his new project. It was to make a pretty silver locket, though he didn't exactly have anyone to give it to. "Mumsy," he called softly as he left his spot at the window and walked towards his mother's room. Opening the door slowly, he saw that she was still slumbering peacefully. A small smile flitted across his face, and he closed the door leaving her undisturbed. Tobias fingered the small heart-shaped trinket, running his finger across the smooth surface and rubbing it until it was warm from his body heat. "I guess I could go venturing about." The tall swordsman spoke as he absentmindedly scratched his head. He pocketed the locket in his pants, and put back on his coat and scarf that he had left draped over a chair in the kitchen. Even though he didn't really need them right now, he knew mumsy would panic over his health if she found those items when she awoke. He smiled to himself, and went towards the door, making sure to lock it before he departed once again. "Mornin'! How's it goin'?" Tobias called to fellow swordsmen and community members as he strode leisurely down the street. He knew all most everyone who lived in District 4--after all, the majority of them had all grown up in this place and had crossed paths at least once. Whistling an upbeat tune as he neared the border to the Middle 3, he noticed that the snow around had begun to ease up and only small traces could now be seen. "Good weather today, indeed!" Tobias was looking forward to lazing about in the sun, and just getting in some sleep before he had to go to work later in the night. As he crossed into the Middle 3, he couldn't help but notice that there were less people outside and about than where he lived--though he guessed that nothing was what it really seemed. He was striding down the sidewalk when he noticed a pretty girl covered in black walking down the path the opposite way. Something about her stood out and caught his attention--he wasn't sure what. Maybe it was her delicate seeming features...or maybe her empty doll-like eyes. He averted his gaze as to not seem rude, and passed her by. However, unknown to him, the small locket that was in his pocket came tumbling out and landed on the road. No sound had been made to notify him of the fall, so Tobias kept walking with his golden eyes glued to the sky above. 《 Tobias Turner 》xxxxxxxxxxxxxx♞ Swordsman

❝ THE ϲɑғғеɪɴе and ℜepeated glances. . .ALICE SOMMER ...left ɱе Sɦɑҡɪɳɠ, left ɱе Sɦɑҡɪɳɠ ❞ Alice walked along the road spacing out as usual going over her list of needs. New spell books, have to stop by the bookstore, buy some pens... She blinked and snapped out of her thoughts, noticing someone glancing. She shifted her eyes and turned her head slightly. Not many people were out that morning, most staying inside the shops because of the cold. Was it that chilly? She could feel a bit numb. Alice's distant gaze followed a quite taller boy, one of the few that was out in the morning, walking from District 4. Her eyes followed him a bit under the rim of her umbrella then they lead back to see what was in front of her. She didn't mean it in a rude way, the magi was quite curious in people that passed by, how they looked, walked, and saw things.
Something seemed out of place to her, the snow always gave a crystal-like shine, but she noticed something extra shiny. Alice couldn't stand it, the magi turned herself around and looked down. A silver locket, it was not long before it was dropped. Her eyes wandered up to the boy strolling in the opposite direction as she was going. She sighed, and decided to go give it to him before she had lost site of where he was off too. She tried to walk quickly but slipped on black ice."Eep!" Alice made a high pitched sound and almost fell behind. She took a quick breath and the wind quickly came to her rescue, unfortunately the breath was a bit much she ended up sliding down the street. "Ah! Wah! W-w-Watch out!" She said clutching the locket in her fist as she tries to steer clear of the owner.

You are the hero, I am the fire
"Ah, merde..." Richard looks up from his work bench, realizing he doesn't have the part he needs for his next invention.
"Damn close too... Wonder what the weather's like outside..." He mutters resignedly, before pushing a shutter open and taking a look outside. As he sees the two inches of snow on the ground, his face darkens.
"Naturally..." He sighs, grabbing a flick-top lighter off a table and a pack of cigarettes. He pulls one out of the pack, brings it to his mouth and lights it in one swift motion. He then crosses to the door, making his way across several piles of rubble, and opens it, shivering for a second before increasing his temperature.
Thaat's better... He thinks, before setting forth for the third district, hands in his pockets.

「xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxWhat's the rush? Come lie in the sun....xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 」 Tobias had all ready put the girl to the back of his mind, and was now mentally trying to remember the store hours for the bakery that resided a bit further down the road. He had his head up towards the clouds, and kept his casual pace. There were a few slippery spots, but he carefully crossed them as he walked through. However, suddenly, a high-pitched "Eep!" made it's way to his sharp ears and he turned around to see what had caused the source of the call to make such distressing noise. "Is everything all ri--" Tobias was in mid-turn when he saw the doll-eyed girl sliding down the street at a breakneck speed--directly at him. "Hold on!" He didn't waste any time being frozen and shocked--his training as a swordsman had taught him to think quickly and calmly, and to react fast. Widening his stance so that he would be able to brace her weight and his against the slippery floor, he settled into a kneeling position with his arms spread out just in case she careened off to the side. Tobias let out a quick outtake of air when she slammed into him, and quickly hugged her tightly. He dug his feet into the ground, willing the momentum to slow until they were no longer moving. When he felt that both of them had come to a complete stop, he let go of her and stood up. "You're not hurt, are you, Miss?" He asked concerned, holding out a hand to her. "That was quite a fall you took there." His eyes seemed to glow in the light, and now the sun had begun to shine down harder than before. 《 Tobias Turner 》xxxxxxxxxxxxxx♞ Swordsman

You are the hero, I am the fire
Richard continues his way to the third district, still disgruntled by the weather and taking a few puffs of his cigarette. As he crosses through the border, he grinds his oral fixation into an ash tray of a nearby store, leaving it there. As he rounds the corner, he sees a certain scene unfolding...
"Tobias, friend! I didn't know you were seeing someone!" He exclaims with great relish, solely devoted to drawing as much attention to the scene as possible.
"Why haven't you introduced me to her?" He questions, looking hurt and quickly closing the distance.

❝ THE ϲɑғғеɪɴе and ℜepeated glances. . .ALICE SOMMER ...left ɱе Sɦɑҡɪɳɠ, left ɱе Sɦɑҡɪɳɠ ❞ Alice's eyes were closed tightly and she braced herself trying not to scream or shout. Then as the second passed she felt herself being caught by someone or something in the process. She kept her eyes closed for a couple more seconds then heard someone say, "You're not hurt, are you, Miss?" Alice opened her eyes in surprised and looked up seeing the golden eyed man. Mind you, she is quite innocent. "Y-yes I'm quite alright thank you." She took his hand and got up from the ground. She only blushed a slight bit from the embarrassing fall. "I-I'm sorry, but yo-" Alice was about to return the stranger's locket until she heard a loud mouth stranger.
The young magi looked over at the man approaching them and what ever blood was in her half doll body rushed to her head. "Introduce you to who?!" She asked in a loud angered tone towards the other stranger, then turned back to the golden-eyed man. "I came to return your locket since you had dropped it on the floor. Thank you again for catching me." Alice's voice was still a bit stern but not as much so when she spoke to the new stranger. The young magi took the stranger's hand and placed the locket in his palm. She turned around brushing the snow and dirt off her dress to walk back up the street.

「xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxWhat's the rush? Come lie in the sun....xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 」 Tobias smiled kindly at the girl as he helped her up. She was quite delicate and not really heavy, and he could tell that from lifting her up. It also didn't hurt that he had been able to hug her when she had slammed into him. He was about to dust off his pants and hear what the miss had to say, when he heard a familiar voice calling out to him. "Richard?" He turned quizzically around, recognizing the voice. Tobias visibly winced at hearing the rest of the alchemist's words, knowing that what he spoke was untrue...and the volume was unnecessary. What was he doing outside so early in the morning anyway? Usually the man was cooped up inside his lab performing experiments or research of some sort. "No, no, you've got it wrong. You see--" He hurriedly tried to correct Richard, but was interrupted by the angry words of the girl. She looked red in the face, and Tobias felt himself sharing her embarrassment--if the emotion was embarrassment. When she turned to address him and mentioned a locket, he unconsciously felt around in his pocket for it. Finding that it wasn't there, he was about to apologize for inconveniencing her when she took his hand and returned the small object. She then made as to leave, but Tobias reached out and grabbed her arm. Realizing that he had just done something that most would think of as forward, he quickly retracted his outstretched arm. "Thank you for returning this locket to me," he expressed sincerely. "And no problem about the catching--it was my fault that you had to experience such a fall in the first place." He scratched his head as he managed a sheepish smile. "Don't think too much of what Richard said," his golden eyes flickered back towards where the alchemist was standing. "He, uh, just got the wrong idea." Taking another breath and stowing the small trinket away in a pocket where it'd be less likely to fall out, he put on his most straightforward expression. "Tobias Turner, at your service, Miss. And that guy over there is Richard Ulam. We're both residents of District 4. May I ask what your name is?"《 Tobias Turner 》xxxxxxxxxxxxxx♞ Swordsman

"My pleasure." Richard says, taking a small bow with a smirk on his face. As he bends back up he places one hand on the back of his head.
"And I know the two of you aren't going out or anything, I just came in at the right time to mess with people." He says cheerfully, adding a few laughs to the end of his sentence. He continues fiddling with his lighter.
"So, what brings you two out here?"

❝ THE ϲɑғғеɪɴе and ℜepeated glances. . .ALICE SOMMER ...left ɱе Sɦɑҡɪɳɠ, left ɱе Sɦɑҡɪɳɠ ❞ Alice was stopped suddenly by the man who called himself 'Tobias'. She turned her head around and pulled her arm away still embarrassed in some childish way. Her eyes were shifted away from Tobias, "Y-you're welcome... and it wasn't your fault so don't worry.." It was her own fault for using her powers with too much force. She turned towards the two guys now, although she didn't really take a liking to the loud mouthed man whom Tobias called, 'Richard'. She nodded when he said that Richard had the wrong idea.
"My name is Alice Sommer..."She curtsied, "Um.. I live here in the Middle 3." Alice's head was a bit down but her eyes were looking up at the two guys she was conversing with. The town was quite quiet, afterwards, more people were coming out into the street looking through shop windows and children playing outside. She listened to Richard explain himself and behaviour. The young mage smiled, "I see.. I just wanted to see if there was anything I could do for work..." Then again, she has been working all week, now that Alice had thought about it. "A break wouldn't be too bad, I guess..." She accidentally said her thoughts out loud.

「xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxWhat's the rush? Come lie in the sun....xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 」 Tobias smiled in relief again, this time that she did not respond angrily at his previous gesture. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Alice." He nodded and retreated his hand back into his pocket and fingered the locket's smooth surface while listening to the man continue talking. He had begun to relax, and laughed along with Richard when he heard the reason why the alchemist had done what he did. Now he felt a little abashed at his reaction, and felt that he had overreacted just a bit. Oh well, that was in the past now. "I was just planning on buying some items for breakfast, since I didn't really have much to do at home," Tobias confessed and shrugged. "My day is pretty much empty. What are you doing outside anyways, Richard? We all thought you were more of a closed closet person." He joked, though he really did wonder why the alchemist was outside. Perhaps the man was on his way to pick up some materials or to present his findings somewhere? "Speaking of breaks, are you both free today?" He glanced back and forth from Alice to Richard. 《 Tobias Turner 》xxxxxxxxxxxxxx♞ Swordsman

"I was looking for a part for something. Figured I might see it at a scrap shop or something." Richard replies.
"Trust me, you wouldn't see me out in this godforsaken weather otherwise. But yeah, I may be free today. I have been working on that thing for a while now, could use a bit of a break."

❝ THE ϲɑғғеɪɴе and ℜepeated glances. . .ALICE SOMMER ...left ɱе Sɦɑҡɪɳɠ, left ɱе Sɦɑҡɪɳɠ ❞ Alice was a bit excited having the idea of going out with people running through her mind. She usually keeps her self locked up in her room or doing some work. She listened to see if the two were free that day, looking up at them with her eyes. Parts. Scrap shop. A mechanic? Alice thought for a moment. She smiled when she heard both of them had nothing else to do, but then she remembered the event. She struggled to hide the smile while her cheeks turned a bit pink from the cold. "I-I don't have anything better to do so I might as well go along with you guys." She said in a forced snobby way. Alice has always been a bit childish despite her true age. Although her mind never really grew up from the age of 16. 「xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxWhat's the rush? Come lie in the sun....xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 」 Even though she appeared a bit cold and her eyes were a bit...soulless, Tobias found Alice to actually be quite human. Richard's answer was also quite straightforward, and he had a gut feeling that today would be an exciting day. "All right, it's settled!" Tobias' eyes gleamed as he began brandishing his arms an overly excited way. "Sir Richard, Miss Alice, you two shall follow me," he announced with gusto. All ready his cheeks were beginning to turn a light red and he seemed to look more alive than before. After sweeping his arms and bowing in an exaggerated motion, he turned around and began to walk down the street in the path he had taken before the incident had occurred. Even though he was eager to start their little expedition and make use of the convenient break time, Tobias still remembered that he had to finish buying breakfast first. After that, he had to return home and drop off the items. It wouldn't take too long, and besides, the day was just beginning! He racked his brain, trying to think of currently ongoing events...was there to be a small fair somewhere in District 4? Maybe 5? Tobias dismissed the thoughts, thinking that they could just walk around and eventually they would find something. "I hope you two are hungry, because the best bread are the ones that are made straight in the morning here." He looked behind him and grinned, as he neared his destination. The bakery was small and had an antique charm to it--an old wooden sign hung out front with the black, cursive words "Panerella" inscribed. The building itself looked like something out of a dollhouse, though you could see the all fading white paint on the exterior and the somewhat crumbling shingles on the red roof. The door leading into the bakery was an oak-colored, stained glass rare. A heavenly smell floated outside in wisps as they escaped the windows and the large chimney. The inside was neat and orderly, with an assortment of bread all lined up and divided into large baskets encircling the counter. [[To make up for the...smaller amount? I hope this will help jog creativity. Sorry for the long arse description of the bakery. I'm a...person who likes writing about bakeries. Yeaaaaaaaaaah.
