Ok so in tonight's episode Sue changed her strategy so that the art program's funding would go to the special education program instead of just being redistributed without a set purpose. Now this seems like (well most likely no one here would think so) a good idea, because it's true! Special education is very poorly funded.

Let me tell you guys a little about me.
-I am dyslexic.
-I've had to transfer schools just to get into a special ed. program because the one I was going to at the time didn't have one
-in Texas the funding used to be based off of how many students were special ed. which meant I was struck in the program even though i didn't want to (because I didn't want to be singled out from the others)
-despite having all these problems I made the chancellor's list last semester (STRAIGHT A's FIRST TIME IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!)
-I am an art student at a state university
-even though I used to get a panic attack just by thinking about math tests

when someone like me struggles in school, they need to find their strengths. That can be choir, sports, drama, the art, cheer leading, band, orchestra, or Chess! I don't know, but everyone has at least one... I had horrible confidence in myself and making art helped rebuild it what I had lost. Yeah, taking away art would help lend for funding special ed programs but it is no way a good solution to the problem. In fact, I think doing so would create more problem. It really angered me when Sue talked even if its just a show on TV.
