Tarishi lay on her back in a nice patch of long grass, staring up at the sky and finding shapes in the clouds, entertaining herself while Hermes was off hunting for himself. Tari ate sometimes, but mostly just treat-things. She hunted sometimes too, but that was to help Hermie when they were younger and so that she actually knew how in case she needed to help a mortal or something. She didn't need to eat mortal food, so she didn't want to waste life pretending to be mortal.
"That's totally a duck," she said to herself with a giggle as one cloud floated by.
Tafari:
Tafari, on the other hand, loved to partake in some of the mortal life. Hunting especially. It was like a game, to outrun the prey. Most of the time he didn't kill the prey, only tackled it than let it go. When a kill was made the meat was put to good use. There were also several other games he took part in as well. He loved the games and competitions some of the mortals had come up with. Sometimes he went participated in some of these animal game using a mortal disguise. Tafari loved competition. It gave him something to strive for, become better and stronger.

Tarishi:
Tari found another one that looked like a tortoise and one that looked like a hare sitting on a rock before she heard the sound of someone else nearby. Completely unafraid of pretty much anything, the growing goddess rolled over and sat up to look around outside of her hiding spot in the tall grass. Blades of faded green stuck out of her mane.
Blue eyes fell on a lion who looked about her age and she smiled, waving to him in a friendly fashion. Maybe it was that she had never been attacked or hurt by another in the past, but she was ridiculously friendly.
"Hi!" she called, deciding to stay where she was instead of running up to him. She didn't want to scare him away or anything be being too friendly.
Tafari:
Tafari paused at the greeting. His ears swiveled about trying to pin point its origin before his head turned to face the goddess. She was one of the deities he had not seen yet. Heard of though. A bright blue light surrounded the young lion as he dropped his mortal guise and changed back into his god form. The only difference was his slight change in size, sword-like wings, glass-like tail tip, brilliant silver chain around his neck and armor which was fastened securely to his left arm. His sharp wings shown like brilliant glass in the mid-day sun. As did his tail.
"Howdy!" He finally called back. Instead of a wave he gestured his greeting with a nod of his head.
Tarishi:
Tari's eyes widened and her mouth formed in an oh-shape when he dropped his guise and that made him all the more interesting. She still hadn't met many gods and she didn't remember him, so he hadn't been around in her past life. And he was rather neat in his god form. She liked it when gods had different wings than the normal eagle-like ones. She found her wings fantastic and unique and his were doubly so and were really pretty. Yes, she thought his wings were pretty and at the same time looked wickedly sharp. It was a cool combination.
She finally stood and walked closer to him, smiling all the while.
"Oh, it's so nice to see another god around here. It's been forever since I've seen another. I'm Tarishi, but everyone just calls me Tari," she introduced herself in a cheerful manner, a sunshine and happiness.
Tafari:
"Yeah, I think they like to hide a little too much." Tafari laughed. It was an observation he had made a while back.
"Kinnda sad, But whatever." He shrugged. "Name's Tafari. People just call me Tafari. "
His tail swayed a little. "so... whatch'a doin' out here? Not much is going on."
Tarishi:
Tafari, that was a cool name!
"Yeah, I never seem to see any. Ugh, and half the time they're not friendly at all," she said with a sigh, pausing to flick her hair from her face with the back of one paw.
"Like, there was this pair when I was younger and all they wanted to do was bash families and stuff. It was absolutely horrible," she added, recalling the meeting with Rhetoric and Harems. At first it almost seemed like she might have made a friend, it all went downhill when that subject had come up. She had made some god-friends, yes, but all in all, she didn't have many, not like she should have. Or at least how many she FELT she should have.
"Oh, I'm just waiting about for my friend, Hermes. He's out hunting for himself." She felt it wasn't necessary to mention that he was a mortal bird. If he was hunting for himself, he had to be mortal, after all. At least, in Tari's mind it did.
Tafari:
Tafari frowned when Tari mentioned the gods wanting to destroy families. He wasn't fond of gods who used their powers to make havoc in the mortal realm. A waste of powers as far as he was concerned. "Well, that's just crazy. I wouldn't do that to a mortal, they have a hard enough time as it is."
He took a deep breath before smiling back at the goddess. Hermes? Another god? Or maybe a mortal friend. Gods didn't need to hunt. Unless he was doing it for fun... Tafari stopped in his thought process and decided he would just have to be surprised when her mortal lion friend came back.
"Ah, and you didn't want to be apart of that fun?"
Tarishi:
What was he tal-
"Oh! No, not physically bash. Like, I'm looking for my father and as soon as that came up it was all, 'Oh families aren't that important' or 'They only drag you down' or 'If he left you, then he's not a good father, then, is he?' Oh, it was just horrible and so cynical. Like, such a mood-killer, ya know?" she explained, visibly shivering at the very memory. She didn't get on well with creatures that hunted for the downside of a subject. She'd much rather talk about the happy.
"Nah, Hermie hunts differently than lions do. Secretaries stomp about on snakes and things, and work better alone, so when he goes out to hunt, I let him have some alone time," she added with a fond smile over her best friend.
Tafari:
Verbal wasn't as bad as physical, but still, it wasn't something to say to anyone. Especially if they were looking for a family members. With that in mind Tafari had to bite his lip. He had a rough memory of his own father and currently had nothing pleasant to say about the old man.
"Still 'aint right." He noted after seeing her shiver. "b-" His train of thought was completely cut off when she mentioned her friend was a bird. That was a surprise. "-a bird? Wow, I've only heard of one pride that tames birds. He must be special being friends with a goddess."
