 The male sighed. It had been months since that fateful trip to the city. He never should have taken her there... But it was too late for 'should have's. Too late for anything. He'd screwed up. He'd just have to pick up what was left of his heart and move on.
Numbly, Karoko wandered around the forest, not paying any attention to the deer nearby. All he could think about were those beautiful pale eyes. White, unseeing... and the web. The web on her pelt that matched the spider on his earring... The male sighed. He needed to get a grip.
After passing yet another little group of deer, Karo decided it was time to hunt. His body ached from lack of food, but it didn't really matter much to him. He didn't want Amy to find his dead body, though, so he crouched down low like she taught him and stalked his lunch.

 Yui Had done it, she had embarrassed herself beyond belief, the only suitable punishment for such an act was to exile herself by going underground. she had made a small hole big enough to lay in, only problem was that she had no way to push the dirt up. sure she could climb out But what would that accomplish she wouldnt be able to be up there pushing the drt down and be in the hole...
"I wonder if mommy or Sai are looking for me..." she decided to go home for now. oking her head up she saw a deer in front of her."Oh my god a deer whaugh!!!!!" she screamed ducking back into her hole. why was she afraid of a deer? it had those sharp pointy horns, get one mad and it could easily kill a fox like her.

Karo was just about to tackle a deer when a black and white head popped up from the ground, screamed, and scared away his pray. Stunned, Karo stared at the head until it disappeared again. Amy?!? No way. The voice was different... But it did look like her... Acting on impulse, the male trotted toward the area where the head appeared until he seen the hole the vixen was laying in.
"What on earth are you doing?" He blinked. Dear Dieties she looked just like Amy! Except for the highlights, and patterns... And her bright green eyes. She did have pretty eyes...

Yui Looked up at the source of the voice."w-well I uhm Im burying myself....." there she said it."Because Im a failure...I was asked to be very careful with something and I saw a mouse run by my leg, ad I tripped and I caused alot of chaos...My brother saito told me not to worry about it, but I brought shame to myself so Im came here to bury myself in this hole..."
she didnt know who this man was, was he friendly or would he be mean to her and call her chicken or Mole girl.

Karoko blinked. "You... tripped? Ok. So? It happens. No need to bury yourself." Leaning down the male grabbed her neck scruff and hauled her out like a kit. What a silly girl! Throwing herself in a hole just because some stuff got broke. Stuff! Didn't she know her life was worth more than stuff? Unless she nearly killed a kit there was no need to be so distraught about it.
"If anyone has a reason to bury themselves, it's me," He muttered, then spoke up. "Are you ok? I know you said there was chaos, but are you ok?"

"Im fine, just ashamed I caussed all of it. My brothers have to be mad at me, I broke the stack of sticks he had arrnged so beautifully." Yui was ashamed over a stack of twigs she knocked over. Normally any fox would shrug it off but her personality wouldnt let her."I also wanted to getaway from the mouse."she admitted. the other reason she would hide was if something scared her. nobody knew why but her father said her grandpa was a mole fox.

Karo blinked again. Stack of sticks? Sticks!? And a mouse? Did he reeeeeally want to know? The male gave her a silly look. "Miss... sticks can be picked up and rearranged again, and I don't see how any brother could be mad over something so small." If he was, he wasn't much of a brother, the male thought.
Shaking his head, the male let out a bit of a laugh. "So, you're afraid of mice? This thought amused him. Mice, such tiny and pathetic creatures. All they did was squeak and chew stuff, and chasing them was quite fun for kits. They were living toys, not objects of fear. Though, from the time he spent in the city Karoko had come to learn that a lot of human females were afraid of the critters as well. Must be something about girls, the way they're programmed or something, he shrugged.

Yui nodded."But doing what I did was a shameful act. I should hide myself...and yes Im afraid of mice they are so mean they steall my food if I dont eat it fast enough and are dirty...then again Im just useless. I wanna be braver But I just cant do it. My name is Yui By he way." she smiled in a soft innocent voice.
"Maybe I should go home, my mom must be worried about me, my dad too." she giggled.

The male chuckled. "I'm Karoko. Yui, that's a pretty name!" He nodded. "And hey, it's not shameful. Look." Quickly he gathered up sticks, piled them up pretty, took a few steps back, and jumped into the stack with a "BONZIIIIII!" and a laugh. "See?" Karo grinned, and stacked them up again. "Now, you do it! It ain't nothing but a thing, babe!"

Yui stared at the pile. then getting a small walking start ,began running however her nerves kicked in right before she hit the pile and she hit the breaks, her back legs going into the air leaving her to front flip onto the pile."Ouch..."she squeaked getting back to her feet."Im ok I just slipped...oh I couldnt even do that.But for a fall that was kind of fun."

Oh! Karo ran to the girl, checking her for cuts and bruises. "Are you ok? Really ok? That looked like it hurt!" He squeaked, feeling bad since he told her to do that. Ok, so, maybe jumping into sticks wasn't the best of ideas. But... she did say that was kind of fun!
Chuckling once he knew she wasn't hurt, he began shuffling leaves into the hold she had dug out. THAT would be softer, and really fun! "Well, see what I mean? Breaking sticks is no big deal! They're everywhere, its nature!" He nodded. "Come on, help me fill this hole with leaves and we can jump in that!"

Yui smiled and started pushing leaves into one of her holes."so it'll be a swimming hole of leaves?" she giggled pushing as many as she could find in."how is this?" she asked looking over at the male her head cocking slightly. her eyes drifted to the pile then back to him.
