Another job rejection. It seemed that she wouldn't be able to get a long term job from any of the newspapers in Kodo. One magazine had offered to publish one article of hers. It was better then nothing, but surely wouldn't pay the bills. Argh, bills. Presea was laying in the grass of a park, even though it was nearing winter. She wasn't worried about the cold. Aries was laying beside her, acting as a pillow, or blanket. Whatever she needed. The Arcanine was worried about his tiny mistress. She'd seemed so... down since coming to Kodo. The way her fingers toyed with his fur was so distracted, and he didn't know how to help. Maybe she was lonely. He wondered if she needed people! People would be good. She had seemed a little better after going to the gathering. He hadn't been allowed to go cause he was too big, but she smelled like all sorts of people and delicious food. Yes. She needed other people and tasty treats. Aries lifted his head and looked around for someone... anyone. It was cold out, sure. But his tail started to wag when he saw someone.

Grumbling. That's all that could be heard up the street in the park, was grumbling. The male teen, known as Tama, hated the cold, though it didn't seem he even tried to prepare himself for the lowered temperatures. A simple collared vest was all he wore, chest exposed. There was his Rocket's shirt, but he never wore that thing, so it was stuffed in the pocket of his black jeans as his black boots pressed on. Pulling his collar up around his neck, he continued to grumble.
Walking behind him, was a menacing looking Charizard, flame carefully tucked among the wings to keep it safe from the cold. Tiamat was far from what she seemed. For one, everyone who sees her, always believes she's a male. She didn't care. Then, they always thought that she was scary or dangerous. Far from it. Again, she didn't care. She just followed behind her trainer, shaking her head as he tried his best to block the cold, after 'telling' him that he should take a sweater. But, of course, the boy did his own thing and left without one. At least he had sense to keep Saphir, his Tepig, in his Poke Ball.
Tama just kept walking, oblivious of his Pokemon's maternal look at him from behind him. He just wanted to get some where warm. He even missed the large fire canine looking at him.

Aries watched the man with his pokemon walk. The man didn't even seem to see him! Aries tail was wagging, but was slowing as he realized the man was oblivious.
"Brfff" Aries let out a lazy, half woof to alert Presea of another trainer, and maybe get the man's attention to come play. The noise had caught Presea off guard, and she looked up at Aries then slowly leaned away from him to get to her knees and peer over his back at what he was watching.

Tama was just about past the large canine when he heard the bark. He stopped a bit, though he was really tempted to just keep going. No matter how much he just wanted to press on, the Rocket just couldn't get over the fact that the bark was obviously from a dog Pokemon, most dog Pokemon were the fire or dark type, and he just loved both of those types. With that, he turned his head to see if he was right.
He was!
His eyes lit up as he spotted the glorious Arcanine some distance away from him. If he had a tail of his own, it would be wagging frantically. He had to wonder if the Arcanine was just as fierce as it looked, unlike his pansy of a Charizard. He looked to the flying lizard for a moment with a small sneer, he only being welcomed by a lizard like smile.
Tiamat knew that her trainer wasn't exactly pleased with her disposition, but she still knew that he loved her... well, as much as a Rocket could love a stolen Pokemon meant to be a tool. Either way, she would be there at his side when he needed her.
Looking back to the Arcanine, something else caught his attention. Peeking over its back was a girl by what he could see. Probably the trainer. He tsked, the possibility of easily getting an Arcanine out the window. Shifting his collar again, he gave a lazy wave and called out a just as lazy greeting. "Hey."

Presea stared at him for a moment before offering a reserved "Hello." She looked at the back of her pokemon's head. "Why are you barking at strangers?" It wasn't something he normally did. Not unless they had been approaching, and doing so in a threatening way. This guy just looked like he was out taking his ... Very unique-looking charizard for a walk. Standing, Presea brushed some grass from her dress, and looked up at the man with her passively vacant silver-blue eyes. There was a gnawing feeling of jealousy at the man being tall, but she didn't show it as she looked up at him.
"Your charizard is very interesting." Screw formalities. She hadn't seen a pokemon look like that before. It was so imposing, so scary looking.
She liked it.

Tama watched as the girl questioned her Arcanine before standing up and cleaning up her dress. Tiamat rumbled in greeting to her fellow Pokemon, flamed tail swishing behind her before nudging her trainer to move closer. He looked to the Charizard for a moment when she had nudged him, being pushed forward a bit. With a small huff, he walked a bit closer before stopping just about a foot from the girl, looking down to her.
When she made reference to his Pokemon, he looked to the lizard and gave a small grimace. 'Yeah... too bad she's a real pansy.' He thought. The Charizard continued to rumble, this time in thanks to the girl for the compliment and hopes that Tama would do the same... well, except in human language. Looking back to the girl, the Rocket, bowed his head some. "Thanks, but I must say, I'm loving your Arcanine."
