For this game, the goal is to post a link to a song/musical piece that you feel is perfect mood music for Halloween! This link may be an mp3 file, youtube video, vimeo video, etc. (You may want to have back up sources, in case of regional lockout, as youtube likes to do occasionally).

The two spookiest songs will be the winners, with first place getting first pick.

- You may only post one song. (Songs must be posted in this thread!)
- You may not post a song someone else has posted. (This includes covers)

Theme Song from IT (Stephen King)

IT was my go-to horror (tele)movie in grade school, the one I would invite innocent classmates home to watch, later releasing them into the night cowering in terror. It was relatively obscure, but had enough street cred to be cool to a tween despite its cheesy 90s telemovie foibles - and it helped that most of us seemed to be friggin' terrified of clowns. Cheery carousel music remains my horror soundtrack of choice...your mileage may vary though. XD

Such wonderful submissions! It was really hard to choose between them all.

Our first place winner: angelgirl2345! Holy crap. Between the dissonant tones and the childlike laughter inbetween the creepy-a** "La-la-la-la" chorus, this song is unsettling and unnerving and I do believe I'm going to have to add it to my Halloween playlist!

Second place: Ruriska! That song is perfectly haunting and moody, giving the feeling that there's something lurking, just behind you. And then when you add in the lyrics, it's so creepy and melancholy, and maybe a little bit apathetic to your plight ("It was always you that I despised/I don't feel enough for you to cry") which is still chilling.

And everybody who entered gets one free certing on the Moonlit tag, because I'm sneaky like that. (This can be a recerting, btw)
