About: Having just a vision is no solution, for everything depends on execution.. Hyacinth's whole mind is set solely on business and work. Or, rather, the best part of her mind is on work. If anyone must do anything, they must put all of themselves in it or it is expected that they will fail. Though, failure should not be lingered on. One must learn from it and move on. Hyacinth doesn't waste time on petty things like passing wants or someone's favorite dessert or.. any of that nonsense, really, she likes to look at the big picture of things. Find out just what someone wants in life and guide them toward that and only that, but she will warn someone when some other desires seem to come in conflict with their goals. She tends to be cold and blunt, but she is caring and will help however much she can.
The oldest of all the fairies, Hyacinth was created with the duty of giving light to the island with lightning as her primary source for the task. As would be obvious, Hyacinth has a deep respect for the Goddess, but, when it comes to her fellow coworkers, Hyacinth can be quite the disagreeable sort. She disapproves of anyone going against her opinion as, of course, she finds her way of doing things to be the best – Ilex and Daffodil being the epitome of what Hyacinth disagrees with. As such, she pesters them with her advice in a leaderly sort of way, finding her status as the oldest of the fairies reason enough for her to know what is best. She hardly ever gets very petty, though, unless one counts in Orchid and Lavender. As she would say time and time again, Orchid is always the start to these arguments, but it isn't as though Hyacinth doesn't do her own silly attempts to get back – attempts that occasionally misdirect towards Lavender, what with the water fairy's habit of agreeing with Orchid. Outside of that, Hyacinth is on decent terms with most of her siblings. Chrysanthemum would be her favorite, as their methods are rather similar, while Carnation, Lily, and Iris are all given minor, sparse criticism with accompanied respect and agreement.

Perhaps a bit too loud, but it would go well with that hot-headed attitude of hers. Carnation wants everything done well, and will not hesitate to let-er scream at you what went wrong. Thus ordering you to fix it once more. She might seem a little pushy... but she means well always, and will try to make it up to you if she goes to far. It'd be no surprise to learn that Carnation is pretty much a tomboy. Action first, other details later. However her lack of lady manner, usually makes it... amusing for others. About: Much like the breeze that rustles the leaves on the trees and helps the dandelion scatter its seeds, the Wind Fairy is one of subtlety and elegance. Those who are good and kind and gentle in nature will find a devoted guardian in Lily, the fairy who creates the wind that blows from the highest peak of the mountain to the ocean water crashing against the shore. Graceful, softspoken, and kind, Lily looks over all of her followers with a dedicated, loving gaze, understanding of their problems, but that doesn't mean she's willing to meet any of them face-to-face. No, Lily is as shy as she is gentle, and while she loves those under her protection dearly, she's not one to come to their aid in a conflict.
Quiet, well-mannered, and painfully timid, Lily isn't one to stand out amongst her fellow fairies, and rather enjoys a fairly neutrally passive role. She's not one for dislike or hatred of fellow individuals, and is always the first to shy away in the face of conflict, and prefers the more positive things in life. Of course, she cries easily and runs away when in troubling situations, so it's only natural that some of her siblings would have little patience for her weak-willed nature. Nevertheless, if one demonstrates that he is a good person, and maybe brings some flowers to her shrine at the field, one will find himself with a dedicated guardian... albeit from a distance.

About: Wood, the lush forest, the fruit trees of farmers, this fairy is one who is as solid in personality as her symbol. She shows no love to man as she shows to the riches of nature she blooms bountifully. For it is to her, that her grand gift brings them their shelter, brings them their hot meals, and the beauty of a lushly wooded landscape. So, it's to no surprise that she thinks highly of herself, and thinks man doesn't near enough appreciate her for it and even their very success. So to the few that meet her standards of gratitude, they shall gain her attention and, with it the possibility of wealth. And to those who can bring to her gifts of valuables often, to prove to her of their fine living and thankfulness for their wealth, shall gain her interest quicker then any, as she is a fairy of riches.
Of course, this isn't mere vainest. It is her birthright to think so haughtily of herself. One only had to pay attention for a short amount of time in order to realize that the three fairies created before her were only practices! She has Hyacinth's intelligence, Carnation's strength and Lily's grace! Clearly, the Goddess was perfection her arts when she did them in order to not fail while making the perfectness that is Chrysanthemum and obviously, she stopped caring after her. Just look at Ilex and Daffodil. Oh, of course, there is Orchid, remnant of Chrysanthemum absoluteness, a mere left over of power. She isn't bad, but is barely worth noticing.
As the supreme fairy (or so she believes), it is not surprise that she despises those who aren't nearly as good as her, especially lavender who doesn't have a mind of her own and Daffodil who just makes her want to puke, but that would be too much honour even for the Dream Fairy. She takes solace in knowing that fairies such a Hyacinth and Iris, who knows to focus exists. Now, if only the could focus on what is really worth it, that is, herself. She is, perhaps, a bit more friendly with Ilex, but this is only pure hypocresy. She doesn't care for the male fairy, she only cares for the jewels he produces. It's a pain for a gain.

About: Lovely. All she is, is lovely. Everything that matters to her is beauty and perfection. The cutest, prettiest and loveliest you are, the more she'll like you. Of course, she was charged on watching over dirty farmers and their crops too, a job she only took because the Goddess ordered her to, but then again, she has the ability to make the land a bit more fertile for a while, being aligned to the element of the earth, so it was a given choice. However, she will not help you unless you bribe her and beg her for it. That's just a dirty job, no way she would do it otherwise! It might just be for that reason that she chose the mountain top as her shrine location. On top of a mountain, ruling over the earth where only the best would come to meet her!
The "middle child" of the fairies protecting the island. She was created at the same time as Chrysanthemum by the Goddess, making them twins. This doesn't mean that the two fairies get along well. In fact, they spend most of their times bickering about which one of the two is the best fairy. Their abilities are quite alike, yet, so different, it is no surprise that this shows in their personality too. While Chrysanthemum chose to embrace the path of riches, Orchid chose the one of beauty. She also have a rivalry of some sort with Hyacinth and both of their followers often have to pay the price of their fights. She's also close to Lavender, albeit being completely oblivious to the fairies feeling for her. She just sees her as an easily manipulated sibling that will always vote the same way as her. Of all the fairies, she enjoys being with Lily the most, given how pretty and lovely the wind fairy is, and just hate being near Carnation, because of how rude and sweaty she is!

About: The beauty that is Lavender can best be described by the playful waves tickling the edge of the sand begging islanders to come play, or the heavy rain drowning all of the stupid ******** bugs because no one cares about them. Her happiness shows brightest in the Summer season due to all of the lovely people visiting the beach. Nothing excites her more than racing through the water with a surfer or splashing waves at unsuspecting swimmers, well, except for Orchid. Yes, during the Summer, Lavender's laughter and joy reaches all of the water, even the little ponds, warming it with the happiness that overflows from her. She enjoys the company of islanders so much, that when she doesn't have it she simply can't control herself. The mixture of sorrow and rage combine to cause the heavy rains that fall in the Fall and are only stopped by the Ice fairy rudely coming in and forcing her to hide in her cave during the Winter. This fact, has caused a strong detesting of Iris.
Lavender's emotional well-being, or rather, the lack thereof, causes her to range from several emotions in a quick span of time. But, being locked away for 3/4 of the year would cause the deterioration of sanity. She clings to what little hope of happiness she feels she has left by watching her followers lovingly and praising them for their interesting lives. Lavender likes to think that she has great relationships with all of her siblings, although, she also likes to believe that Orchid is the center of the universe and everything must then revolve around Orchid. A few of her other beliefs include that fish and all others that breathe underwater are supreme beings over all other creatures, that Summer is the best season, and that all things that grow in the Summer only are therefore superior.
But, her opinions of her siblings differ much from what she would like to believe the relationships are as a whole. Hyacinth is simply too judgmental of Orchid, and anyone on the other end of an argument with Orchid is wrong. Dead wrong. Carnation is simply too hot-headed to properly understand Orchid and her amazing-ness, thus making Carnation wrong. Lily is actually one of the few that Lavender doesn't find herself glaring hatefully at the back of her head, not that she does that with the others. Chrysanthemum is simply the short end of the wonderful Orchid stick and doesn't even know it. This makes Chrysanthemum wrong. Orchid is the epitome of all that is wonderful and worth living for in the world and Lavender wastes no time with trying to show her this, by agreeing with everything she could ever say and doing anything she could ever want. Lavender wouldn't have a problem with Iris if it wasn't for the fact that she had to meddle in water-like substances. It just isn't fair! Ilex is among the enjoyable in the group, which makes him right, and although Daffodil can sometimes be a little hard to handle, she is also among the well favored in Lavender's little book.

About: Spending hours, years, centuries molding and creating – refining the coal for the sparkle of a diamond.. the art of Metal is a process of time. Perhaps that is what lead the Goddess for choosing Ilex to watch the mine. Of all the fairies, he is probably the most patient and faithful, but waiting isn't his style in the least. Everything must require that step forward and he would take a thousand if it got him the result he wanted – hard work and determination! He favors the bright side in every situation, but that does not mean he doesn't see the wrongs. He can be a bit too forgiving and sympathize with others a tad much, but he does know when to pull back and put himself first.
Ilex is practically the youngest of the group – but then Daffodil had to be born to screw it all up! Oh, well, the little fairy still takes some pride in being the only boy – which he loves. Someday, he was sure, the fairies would need some breeding to get done and they all knew he's the one they'll have to count on! ♥ After all, being with a human was unheard of! So, Ilex had to be the only choice, right? ….Right? ..Oh, well, whatever! The fairy keeps a friendly relationship with all of his siblings and especially loves the ♥ Goddess ♥! Oh, her and her giant, soul-consuming~~ ♥ ..ah, yes, as for his individual siblings.. Ilex doesn't have any that he particularly likes over the other, in all honesty. The little fairy loves his sisters as equals and does the same with his followers – even crushing on them at times! ..Which can make for some rather creepy letters..

About: The youngest of the fairies, Daffodil guards the dreams and fantasies of the children of Nirvani. It is her goal to see them happy and healthy, at least until they grow up and become the responsibility of another fairy. Childhood is a precious, delicate time, and as youngest of her own family, it is Daffodil's job to protect the youngest residents of Nirvani from trouble and misfortune. Childish, energetic, and loving, she watches over them as easily as she can sympathize with them, and is sometimes known to get almost too wrapped up in her desire to make people happy.
It's this childishness that gets her into the most trouble. She naturally disagrees with a lot of her siblings' sensibilities, like Hyacinth and Chrysanthemum, but she honestly can't say that she returns the disdain. However, it really is no surprise that she rubs some people the wrong way, as her desire to make those under her guidance happy is almost selfish at times, and much like a child with his eyes on a new toy, when she wants something, she wants it. And even though her intentions are always good, she is sometimes a little too impulsive. While some of her siblings may take a more distanced approach to their followers, she has to control herself to not become too involved, and if she had her way, she'd probably play with children at the playground all day, everyday. In the end, however, she is a loving, upbeat, devoted fairy, a perfect fit for the children of the island, though it is a shame to see them leave her care when they turn thirteen.
