Perhaps they were not expecting the blinding white light, interrupting whatever they would or could have been doing. Perhaps some of them were.

However, as Hunter and Halloween student alike slowly adjusted to the setting, they saw in front of them only a single figure. A small one, cloaked in rich purple, holding a staff that emanated a steady tick-tick-tick noise. The room itself filled with colour: it was as if someone had crossed the inside of a clock tower with splatters of neon green and dark blues. Long shadows of non-existant figures crossed the wooden floorboards underneath the students, in front of the figure was a dias, and then three large doors.

"You are all here." Their back was turned towards the students, but now as they apprehended the intruders, their form shifted, suddenly taller, the face resembling that of a grown man. "Please, no fighting in my domain." He noticed the immediate twitch as the Hunters moved to the offensive and raised his staff: everyone was frozen to their spot on the ground. They simply could not move.

"I'm sure a lot of you have questions, which is nice, but I am here to deliver, I do not take sides. Now that we have gotten introductions done, I hope you will be on your best behaviour as I get all the necessary arrangements ready. Wouldn't want to send you all to the wrong place, after all."

With that, they turned away, floating to examine one of what seemed like three large, black mirrors. Something flickered across the far one in the left, an image of something, what seemed like a backyard - Hunters immediately recognized it as their home base of operations - but it soon flickered back to black. It looks like they would all be stuck here for a while.

The OOC

- Your student or/and Hunter CAN NOT ICLY MOVE but they can talk with each other. They are assumed to have arrived in groups, students in the left and Hunters near the far right, enough to see the other group, but not enough within hearing range of each other. Both of them see the ??? figure but have no clue who they are. Feel free to talk things out.

Should combat occur, you may not make an additional move or attack again until your target makes an action.

Light filled his vision and then it was gone leaving him feeling dazzled. Jude tensed as he gazed around and then suddenly he was pretty much frozen to the spot. He frowned lightly as he gazed around the area not sure what to make of it at all then he focused his eyes upon the one that had been talking. What should he do? He wasn't prepared for any of this at the moment and so he struggled to move for a second before he just stood still.

"Arrangements?" His tone was confused, questioning and for the moment he didn't care much about who was all around him. The fact that there was 'arrangements' being made somewhat intrigued him though he wasn't sure what it was about.

"Oh Holy ********." Cass swore the second she realize that upon the light fading she could see some fuzzy figures that were definitely not hunters. Thank god for uniforms!

However, the second she moved to pull the chain off of her waist she was grounded..or rather, frozen. She struggled against the bounds that held her down, unable to leer at the (ghostly) shape that held the power of time over them. Instead, she seethed to herself.

"What kind of arrangements?" the mist hunter chimed up in turn after Jude, not really enjoying the sound of that word.

It seemed they never were to find out the labyrinth's secrets - one moment Madison was stumbling in the dark. The next, white light flared; the Hunter trainee stumbled back, bringing up one arm to shield her face automatically, and she felt herself being moved somewhere else.

It took her eyes a moment to recover, afterimages flickering and obscuring her vision. By the time she could see again, the Hunters had already been rooted to the floor, though she spent a moment vainly trying to lift her feet. The figures around her were human, not freaks... though she wasn't going to lay any bets as to what the robed figure was.

We want to bite it, Kouki complained.

Shhh! Madison thought, then turned awkwardly to the other Hunters. "What's going on? Did you guys get dragged here too?"

Riyo... Seemed a little awestruck when she stepped through the blinding light and into the strange room. "... So THAT'S what the ticking noise was." The feline immediately said to herself, practically ready to take the staff and smash it against the floor.

Of course, that wouldn't happen considering the couldn't move. Great. Fantastic.

But what made the room even more fantastic were the figures directly across from them.

Oh. s**t.

Those were... Hunters, weren't they? Yes. The similar clothing. She recognized that from the big fight in the backyard. Okay. Well. They couldn't move either. She'd be alright! Those filthy bastards couldn't touch her.

... Yet.

What was this figure going to deliver? What arrangements? Oh jeez. What was with those mirrors?

Marzena narrowed her eyes, grimacing as she stepped into what seemed like a room full of blinding white light. Fortunately, that was not the case, and she could see what was around her now. So this was what lay behind the door of choices? How very curious. It looked quite interesting, and as the Selkie attempted to cross her arms across her chest and ponder their situation, she found that she could not do so. Damn, it seemed like she was frozen entirely by some sort of magic.

Was it something to do with the guy who proclaimed that it was his domain? It probably wasn't plausible to break free unless he gave the word. She couldn't fathom what exactly was going on here though, and expelled a frustrated sigh. Well, at least they could talk.

What arrangements indeed?

Shielding her vision from the horrid light, she finally lowered her arm when realizing that the light was fading. "What..?" Where...Where was she? How in all of---How the hell did she get here? Was this the next room? But..her team.. Where was the rest her team? Scanning the room, the doll realized that she was not the only being brought here--some, she couldn't even tell who they were. She had never seen them before. Reapers? They must be, they wielded weapons, and they looked like them.

Shrugging it off for the moment, she attempted to move, but was unable. Was she...stuck? By what? Oh Jack, this was frustrating! If it wasn't the fact that she could not move that would drive her insane, it was the sound of ticking clocks! Mei hated that sound! It was too much like her father's antique shop.

Her gaze lifted and landed upon the cloaked figure as he spoke, resulting in her being a little dumbstruck. She would have questioned him on the 'arrangements', if the others had not already. But..sides? Weren't they all on the same team? "Ah, Jack dammit..!" She didn't have time for this! She had to go and complete her course! Not stand here like a statue!

Roch had managed to summon his guitar as soon as he saw the hunters. But that's all he'd managed. He was standing in an awkward manner, his guitar behind him, ready to swing. He just couldn't do it. Which really sucked. He glowered in their direction, searching for the laughing ghoul--

The ghost. The same ghost that had stolen his ghost sense. He was the guy doing this to them. So... was he just waiting to get a few things arranged before he let the battle start again?

"Who's here?" he asked, not able to see the others because he was facing the hunters. "How many do we have for the fight?" They needed more than they had had for the last fight, that was for sure. There were a LOT of hunters.

The flash of white left the kitsune dizzy and disoriented. Something that he did not like to feel... he liked feeling in control of his surroundings and the white left him seeing little dots before his eyes. Shaking his head, his ears pricked backwards as his vision finally became clear.

He was standing in a room of unfamiliar faces... and a few faces HE DID NOT wish to see again. "Jack damnit." He whispered under his breath, feeling his body turn rigid, even before they were all frozen in place, at the size of the mass of hunters in the room as well. A rumbled of a growl which was more canine started at the base of his throat before making its way out.

"The hell is going on?" He could not move again, something that he should have been used to by now from that stupid blob back in his own course. If there was one thing he was thankful for, it seemed so far none of his newly aquired friends were here to face the hunters again.

The last thing Holly had remembered was that she'd entered through a door with her group, West had seemed to have disappeared but the other ghouls were still there. Awesome, where in Jack's name would he end up? But that didn't matter for the time since she realized she couldn't move and there was a figure in the room. Also, a lot of others that were not students. ... Who were they?

Luckily there were a few other students in the area as well as another who was talking. Arrangements? This didn't sound good at all.

The few students near her, one she recognized. "Mei? When did you get here?"

Bix blinked uncomfortably. His eyes could be a little sensitive so it took him an extra minute before he realized where he was, and even then he didn't totally understand. His bow was out, yes, but he heeded the figure's words and didn't move to attack.

"Hey guys.. " He approached the other hunters.

Jude and Cass had asked enough questions, he just stood silently by and eyed the appearing students warily.

Sure it was their general consensus that they were all done watching, but the house had other plans for Team Venture rather than dump them all together in a heap. Bul would find out very soon that no matter the door there was likely trouble on the other end if it weren't the sanctity of their hub. As the half beast stepped through the frame and into the blinding light, he did not wince but merely closed his eyes.

When he could feel the radiant burst no longer burning his eyelids he opened them again to find himself surrounded in a cornucopia of people. At one end he could see the hunters, identifiable by their uniforms and mournful variety of weapons. There wasn't a need for him to launch himself at them, certainly no and even as time froze he found something somewhat easing about the cloaked 'comrade's' speech.

So it said it did not take sides, but Bul had trust invested in this creature. It had been there upon their return from the tent and even offered students a chance to go home in which Bul's pride could not allow. Not with the knowledge that students still remained victimized by the hunters.

The only thing about his new surroundings was the lack of a head figure for the hunters. There was no target for him without a Dr. H, whom which he had failed to even lay eyes on the entire trip. There was something however, that made his heart both flutter AND sink at the same time.

Mei.

"....Mei!" Bul called from his frozen stance. "Oh my Jack, Mei you're here!!" For now he swooned but in the back of his mind the memory of his vision was too close for comfort. All he wanted was to hold her again and prove to the contrary of the QB's curse that they would not be torn apart.

Questioning their current predicament seemed futile to the boil and although he knew this could not end well with hunters in the same room something in his heart told him they would all make it out alright.

Perhaps.. not in one piece though.

The spots that danced in Leon's vision ebbed away as the light's effects dissipated, Nidhogg was already put back in its desummoned state and Leon...

Leon had no clue what just happened. "Wh-where are we?" he asked dumbly, mostly from shock and not from the lack of brain cells. but the even more pressing matter shook him, being unable to move. Even more so when the figures in the distance had limbs that did not look like anything a fellow hunter had.

"What are you planning?"
he asked again in that puzzled tone that desired answers, much like the others who were around him. "Jude, Cass." he said, relieved to see a few familiar faces. "Glad to see your alright, frozen too, but alright."

Squinting as the white light flashed and engulfed them, Shun blinked as the scene unfolded before them. With his hand still clasped around Mitsu's, he tried to look around, but found that he couldn't really move. Furrowing his brow, he saw the ghost in the center, as well as another group on the other side of them. Wait. He recognized some of them. They were the humans! And there were a lot of them too. This did not bode too well.

He would have summoned his weapons right then and there, but wasn't able to at the time.

As for the figure in the center, he looked familiar, as was his voice. He may have been the one speaking to the soul harvester earlier on.

Off to the side, he spotted Riyo, but there was no sign of Mot or Hel right now.

"What's going on?" he asked, though it seems that his fellow students didn't have any more of an idea than he did. All that he got was that the guy in the middle likely had something to do with everything here.

As soon as the light faded and everything came into clarity Mitsu found instantly that she couldn't move. Her legs were rigid and her arms couldn't shift. She was aware that she was still holding Shun's hand but beyond that she wasn't able to do more than look around with her eyes. "What...is?" She questioned looking around as students and....were those hunters..came into view.

"S..Shun.." She breathed quietly with worry, her heart now pounding in her chest with fear. Was there going to be another battle? If so they were nothing more than sitting ducks. She could feel her muscles tightening but they refused to budge.

Ears catching an unfamiliar voice Mitsu's eyes shifted to another being she hadn't seen before. Or had she? Whoever it was he seemed to be the source of all the ticking. Oh jack the ticking. Carefully her eyes pulled away wondering if the no fight thing would hold true. She glanced around again trying to spot her teammates. There was Riyo...but where were Hel and Mot?
