Bio: It's not exactly common for a child to grow up in this world with little to no contact with any pokémon. Katie, however, did exactly that. Both of her parents are extreme poképhobics, and did their best to keep their only daughter from getting near the creatures. This was understandably difficult, especially growing up in a large, crowded place like Saffron City. Katie didn't really have any friends, as her parents tried to screen out anyone who might expose her to pokémon too much. She never shared their phobia, however, and was far from happy to live a pokémonless life.

Katie periodically ran away, sometimes getting quite far from home before she was dragged back. During one of these attempts, she happened across a pokémon contest, and fell in love with the entire thing. As soon as she hit 18 and could strike out into the world without risking being forced back home, she took off for the first region she could get to that wasn't Kanto. It just so happened that she ended up in Katerina, and she has absolutely no intention of ever returning to Saffron City.

Personality: Katie's got a temper, which she often blames on her red hair, but most of it is actually just a bluff, to cover how she is really feeling at any given moment. She's easily embarrassed by how much she doesn't know, due to her controlled and sheltered upbringing, and attempts to hide that under irritation. She's rather lonely, but doesn't know how to make friends very well so she pretends to be happy with her loneliness.

She's very determined, however, and doesn't plan on letting her ignorance, sheltered background, or her own embarrassment hold her back from her goals. Stubbornness might not be a very positive character trait, but it's something that she has in spades, and she will plug away at just about anything to achieve her goals, now matter how stupid or impossible they might seem to others.

Biography: Cara was first encountered by Katie while trapped in Jirachi's mansion. The then-rattata temporarily partnered up with the human in hopes of escaping, but ended up sticking around and letting Katie catch her. Cara doesn't seem to know or care about her life before meeting Katie, and has no real goals in life other than being pampered.

Personality: A laidback sweetheart, Cara likes shiny things but isn't inclined to go out of the way to get them for herself. Instead, she'll try and beg for it. She's something of a flirt and knows she's a pretty example of her breed, but for the most part all she really wants to do is lie around and get cuddles.

Name: Ailleacht

Species: Liepard

Classification: Purrloin

Biography: Ailleacht is Katie's first breeding success, albeit an inadvertent one. Katie's friend Oyumi has a Zoroark,and unbeknownst to either of them, Rian and Meimu got along rather well. One day Oyumi found eggs beside Meimu, and both Katie and Oyumi were surprised to see baby purrloins hatch. Oyumi kept one as a companion pokémon, and Katie took the other to use for show.

Personality: With the ego of her father but without quite the same level of narcissism, Ailleacht knows she's pretty, but doesn't let it stop her from doing whatever she wishes - after all, if you spend too much time admiring yourself, you can't succeed at getting others to admire you! Unlike her father, Ailleacht is entirely uninterested in Cara, and prefers to spend her time grooming or preparing for contests.
