She had been told by Caide to meet him here. She was assuming these were his lands after all.. She hoped they were because if she was lost –again- she wasn’t going to be that happy. She always seemed to be getting lost these days. It was embarrassing, and annoying, and she was not enjoying the idea. The lands were beautiful. Green grasses as far as the eye could see, and the large rock that stood over the lands. That must have been what had been described as Pride Rock. What a beautiful place this was.. She couldn’t help but look over everything with her maw half hanging open. She had never been in a place that was so beautiful. She hoped that meant life was good here too.. She’d hate for the pride to be full of angry lions, and to occupy such a charming piece of land. Of course this piece was larger than a lot of the prides she had run across before.

Her purple eyes gazed around, hoping for some site of the familiar white and grey pelt that she had grown to love. He had asked her to be his mate, and she had said yes. So now she was trying to find him in hopes he still wanted that offer. She wanted to be his mate. She loved him, more than the world, moon, stars and even the sun combined. It was odd, this feeling of love. She wasn’t sure if she had ever felt it before but she had the feeling she would know something like that.. Feel it deep in her heart or something. But nothing came forth, no heart pangs made her remember a lost love. No she was almost positive that she had never been in love before. With a toss of her head her amethyst gaze landed on a white and grey lion that reminded her vividly of Caide. A smile crept over her features and she couldn’t help but paw in place for a moment.
“Caide!” She called, taking off into a full run and lunging at him, topping the lion over with a fierce pounce. It was only after the male was on the ground that she realized her mortifying mistake. The male with blue eyes laughed, and rolled back to his feet, shaking off his white pelt of dust. He raised an eyebrow and chuckled. “Is there something I can help you with? That –isnt- pouncing and toppling me over?” He asked. He looked like Caide, and she wasn’t sure why. Was this a Wyconda sibling? No she didn’t think so, he didn’t even smell like Caide.
“No, I- Uh. Im sorry. Im such a clutz, just ignore me.” She groaned, shaking her head and turning a bright vivid shade of red. She couldn’t believe she had just done that. She really was rather ashamed of herself.
“You had said Caide, though, right? Or did I hear you incorrectly?” Asked Hayven, the nephew of the very lion that she was seeking out. He thought nothing of the fact that she was looking for Caide, he understood. Besides, he had Koa and he had no desire to have her thinking he was out here tackling random females left and right. With a smile, he tried to show that he was friendly, though her face told him he was doing a pretty fail job.
“Hey- Don’t worry about it. No harm, no foul. I enjoy a good pounce now and again then anyway.” He mused, and cocked his head as he looked at her.
“I-I did.. I was looking for Caide. He asked me to meet him here, but I haven’t been able to locate him.” She responded in a hushed voice. She supposed she should trust this guy who told her not to worry. She wasn’t sure why but if he knew Caide maybe this was a good sign.
“Interesting.” Hayven voiced, before another grin grew on his features. “Caide is my uncle, assuming you and I are discussing the same large and grey male. Does he have a son? Deaf and named Wyconda?” He asked, looking into her eyes waiting for the answer. She was frightened but he didn’t have the damndest idea as to why.
“Yes! Yes he did.” Her eyes lit up with hope when she realized this male was related. Okay so maybe it wasn’t so bad she had toppled over someone else.. how was she supposed to know the difference between the two? She sighed, letting out the air she had been holding without realizing it.

“He asked me to be his mate.. and Im afraid if I don’t find him he wont want me anymore.” She confided, her eyes showing how important it was for her to find the male that had stolen her heart the first day she had met him. With a chuckle, she took her paw and rubbed behind her head in nervousness. Why the hell was she so terrified of such a kind male anyway? Oh yeah, that’s right, because he wasn’t Caide and she wasn’t the most trusting of sorts. With a snort, she tried to take a deep breath though it was easier said than done.
“Can you take me to him? Do you know if hes still waiting for me?” She asked nervously. “He invited me to live here.. I figured Id take him up on the offer. If its still open.” She repeated.
“I can take you to where he is, yes. Though the odds of him having moved on from you is quite slim. He hasn’t said much about you to me, but then again hes closer with my father than he is with me anyway.” He winked and chuckled. “Come on, Ill show you where he is. And word of advice? Calm down lady! No one here will hurt you, you are where you belong I promise. Im not the type to lie.” The male said earnestly and then offered a soft smile.
“Come on, let me take you to him. You are likely going to raise his spirits quite a bit.” The male chuckled and began walking and not waiting for her to follow. Bahari followed closely, and smiled. She was home, and she was going to be with the mate she loved for the rest of her life.
