Okay, who do you think would win? I honestly think PH would win thanks to his giant a** sword. Nemisis' a** would be sore after that battle

I have held this debate once with a friend of mine who is obssessed with Resident Evil. Granted, this dispute is about as ancient as the Pirates Vs Ninjas debate, I will still supply my answer with logic.

Flat out, Pyramid Head would be able to destroy Nemesis. Why is this? Not simply because he has a massive Great Knife, but because he is a creature who can disappear and reappear at random. While it is true that he shambles slowly across the screen when you fight him, have you ever wondered how he gets from room to room faster than you do? or even building to building?

Not only this, but Pyramid head can only destroy himself... and even then it is temporary. As long as there are those who feel the need to be punished, Pyramid Head will exist to answer the call. He is almost like the judge and law of Silent Hill. When Pyramid Head "destroys' himself, it is more likely to be worded that he ends his "pursuit" of a specific person.

If you look at the Pyramid Head from the movie, he can materialize literally anywhere he wants. He also possesses an army of man eating bugs to do his bidding.

EXACTLY!!!!!! I've been on forums and it almost always ends with "Nemis can blow him up though!" And thats where it ends. Recently I found one like this. Okay so say it was all of the RE universe Vs. All of the SH universe? Main characters included on each side, which do you think would win? Personally I'm still on SH's side.

.....and my friend asked me to throw in the Dead Space universe since its one of his favorite horror games

I really can't debate the dead space aspect, but narrowing back down to RE and SH, I feel like certain awards go to certain sides.

I don't feel that many of the SH characters could really stand a chance against RE characters, simply because a few of the characters in RE are mutated, trained in military/law enforcement, or possess some sort of body function enhancer.

Enemy wise, Silent Hill would slaughter the entire RE world. You have the immortal Walter Sullivan, the immortal Pyramid Head, you have the demi-god figure Valtiel, the rebirth god Xuchilbara, you have ghosts that cannot be killed from silent hill 4.... really do I need to say more?

Not only that, but when fighting against Silent Hill, new creatures and fears would be born from the characters of Resident Evil. They won't just be fighting these undefeatable enemies, but they will also be fighting their worst fears in a personal hell. Much like we said about ourselves and how SIlent Hill would find a way to break us all up, it would do just as much the same to them.

See? I don't see why people say RE would win, it just doesn't seem possible. Maybe if we got deadliest warrior on this.......
I've been to a bunch of forums about this and it would awalys end with "But nemesis has a rocket launcher!" Not to mention all of these forums just happen to be on RE forums with no real fight put up.

I have actually longed for someone to create a show on TV facing games against games, and characters against characters ect... In all honesty, it's a shame Deadliest Warrior wouldn't do something like that.... Fortunately, we have done just that here today and, "Any who have come here have witnessed what has happened here today and will live to tell of it later".

Plus, as you mentioned, on an RE site, people will be biased, and nobody will take time to step back and analyze strategically. More often than not, most of those people will have no knowledge, at least not complex knowledge, of the creature Pyramid head.... nay the God.

Yeah hopefully sometime in the future we'll have a show for game characters vs game characters. Untill then it's time to sit back, wait, and eat cheetos. Pyramid Head is easily the victor! Nemisis now stands in a heap of blood and diarhea!

well i highly doubt he still stands xp more or less he is in bits and pieces in at least 20 different rooms in silent hill, all with broken locks on the doors and rusted windows so nobody will ever find him.... and all will forget about the once sort-of powerful being Nemesis

I think pyramid head has a lot more of a intimidating look bc of the filth and grime and the pure fact he has a metal pyramid on his head. So id probably just crap my pants from fear and run.

But I think nemisis would win hands down. You gotta look at the fact that ph weilds a huge HEAVY sword. So he can only move so fast. And it takesa lot of energy to swing that thing. Fatigue would set in real quick.

Now nemisis was engineered with superhuman strength agility endurance. And he has lighter more weildable arsenal.

Ph wouldntstand a chance

That's actually a greeat idea. Deadliest warriors kicks a**. But I think with enough support they might consider doing it. I mean the season finale was zombies vs vampires(zombies would win in rl,their calculations where off). Both are monster created by the imagination of human kind. Well so revideo game characters.
And bc they're video game characters in a virtual reality.....anything goes.

You pose valuable points, but in the long term of things, Pyramid Head is an invincible, immortal entity of Silent Hill... right next to Xuchilbara, Valtiel, Samael ect... Pyramid Head bears no fatigue, only an unrelenting drive to finish what is started. And while Pyramid Head in the game and movie wields a large knife, he also is surrounded by man eating beetles by the thousands in the movie. His blade is not his only weapon either,.... upon reviewing the movie and the games, he possesses a super strength. He was strong enough to knock James back into a fence, AND cause the fence to shatter. He was strong enough to shove his blade THROUGH heavy industrial metal door. Also, he was strong enough to rip a person's entire skin right off in one pull.

Pyramid Head also possesses spears if you watch through the end of the 2nd game.... and there were multiple pyramid heads at the end of silent hill 2, so you must also consider the possibility that Nemesis could end up facing much more than one, each with all the aforementioned abilities. And lastly, never forget Pyramid heads ability to materialize from nowhere, and his ability to disappear and reappear at random.

oh ya that right. I forgot about the beetles. And I just finished 2 so yeah I thought there was only on but then I saw three surrounding maria and I waslike o.0 wha? And I never connected the whole immortal fact.
(I'm kinda new to this series. Turning 20 my mom finally stopped ruling over my game options lol.)but definately dedicated. smile

Yep, Pyramid Head is indeed invincible... thats why in the 2nd game you can never really hurt him... you only fend him off until the siren sounds. And when Pyramid Head "kills" himself... he isnt really dieing so much as sending himself back to the silent hill God realm so to speak.... that is a much more complex matter. Because Pyramid head will only "end" himself if the person he is after dies or feels like they do not need punishment anymore...

In the case of this fight, Nemesis wouldnt need to be punished... So for the sake of having the fight, Pyramid head would most likely make his reason simply to kill Nemesis. So the only way Pyramid Head is going away is if Nemesis Surrendered, or if he finally died.

That is really cool as well about finally being free. I'm 19, and I turn 20 in September. Been a Silent Hill fan, though, for as long as I can remember. Watch this clip below again, from the movie, and you will also see that Pyramid Head does not swing his weapon quite as slow as you thought. He actually sweeps his blade side to side pretty quick.

Well Henry Put it as Best it could go. But I'm a fan girl / groupie for The red Devil so I will always go with Pyramid head. He's a Monstrous beast of an entity who has a bad- assery level off the charts. I chose him over sephiroth

Haha its very possible sephiroth would start crying after realizing that 1000 comet strikes later, Pyramid Head is still moving forward unrelentlessly twisted
