It's Halloweekend! Yay! So exciting.
Tell me what you're plans are. Are you going to get dressed up in a cool costume? I want pictures! Just kidding...explaining it is fine. Do you have any funny/interesting stories about the holiday? Any favorite horror movies? Did you see one of those light show houses? What's the coolest pumpkin carving that you've seen? How's the event going for you? It's all about Halloween so talk to you're hearts content! As for me...I was invited to a few parties but I don't actually know the exact time or day they are being done. People like to tell me at the last minute half of the time. I don't know if I'll go or not. Also, Gammie wants to dress me up as one of those china dolls with the rosy cheeks. Haha I might let her do that just because it's not the type of costume I'd think of to wear.

Ooo, Horror Flicks for sure; I'm planning on borrowing a few here and there, and I have a few primo choices on my own self...
What I really want is to find a copy of Colobus. [or is it Kolobus? x3] The thing with horror flicks, with me, is that I watch them year-round anyways; it's probably my favorite movie genre. The thing with Kolobus, is that it really stuck with me, especially the gore and horror imagery, probably making it my all time favorite Horror movie...
The story is about a depressive and suicidal girl, with a talent for drawing. She and a multitude of other colorful characters are selected for a home-living style reality show [you know, like Big Brother or Real World] They arrive at the house and everything goes well, until some of Kiera's [the girl with the wrist scars] artwork falls into the wrong hands; each drawing, a brutal image of a terrible and demented death, the serial killer takes her images as inspiration for the manner in which he systematically murders all but Kiera; one gets showered with acid, instead of warm water, literally burning alive in the shower; another is sliced open so her entrails spill out of her still living body; another is lifted and skewered through her eye on an ornamental deer-antlers; and it just gets worse for the rest... eventually all but the girl responsible for the death designs are killed, and she learns the truth behind the murders, only to realize she wanted that fate to befall those guests herself, and becomes the serial killer in the end....
Totally effed up movie; filmed in the early 90's I think; If I could get a hold of this before the 31 I'd be a happy camper... This was the Saw from my time, and it was brutal... x3

Did you just tell me the ending? Sooo mean... It reminds me of this episode of a cop show I think...maybe it's where they got it from...but the dude was a comic creator that started to get demented or something.
Have you seen May? I think that's what it's called...it's about this mental girl and she ends up creating her perfect person...

I cannot watch horror films. Even though intellectually I know that it's all made up, my imagination runs rampant with it. The last 'horror' movie I saw was The Ring, and I was told that it was kinda tame. I didn't sleep well for three days after that. The night immediately following watching the movie I didn't dare fall asleep until 8 am.
I do love Halloween, though. My favorite bit is the costume part. In the grand tradition of my father, I make my costume (or find the various bits at thrift stores) each year. This year I'm going as Rosie the Riveter to my parents' church's Halloween party. If I remember, I'll post some pictures.

Sorry for the spoiler, but trust me, nothing is lost from the experience; I left out the good bits ;p, plus it's such an obscure title I doubted anyone would've heard of it, and even fewer will have come across a copy. [I watched it on VHS over a decade ago, and haven't come across it since]
I haven't seem May, though. Sounds interesting though, Im going to have to look into that for sure.. xD.Smorgasmorgan I cannot watch horror films. Thanks for reminding me; that sucker gave me the creeps; loved it! XD

Right... Halloween is on Monday. XD Wait... that means my birthday is on Thursday... I completely forgot... That's a first. eek
Halloween Halloween Halloween... Last year I wasn't even in the States for Halloween, and I think the US is the only country that celebrates it. Europe sure as hell doesn't (at least where I was). But every year before that I went trick or treating. XP I never grew out of it.
This year... Uhhhh... I honestly don't know. XD I went to my best friend's improv club dressed as a geisha with no makeup on (or as they so elegantly put it, a Japanese whore. *sigh*) But it wasn't worth it, so I returned it the next day (after I wore it. I'm so bad. pirate ). So I don't have a costume. Or anything to do. But for sure, I won't be watching horror movies. Can't stand 'em. I get nightmares. DX
Though, the day after Halloween, me and my best friend will be visiting all the Halloween stores and sections and see what's on sale. mrgreen

Aran...You call him Maddy?
Happy early birthday!
Ah I think other countries celebrate but it's not as big or is different...
When I was little my parents let me watch anything...almost...cause I could handle it. But my bro would have nightmares and thus they wouldn't let him. Sometimes they would cause he'd swear he wouldn't have any but he still did. I am not sure if he grew out of that or not. Hmm
I missed this livestream movie watching get together because of my computer/internet...lame.

I||Happy Halloween, remember it's trick OR treat...||I Hmm, I guess I'll be at home for a while scaring trick or treaters that come by, ah memories. One year we had the "please-take-one" candy bowl outside and and a "fake" hand in it... well, not so fake, it was me siting underneath the table with a hole cut into it and the bowl.... in short, little kids have some pretty sharp nails >_< Good times.... This year we're gonna dress skittles, our Jack Russel like a vampire...or a hot dog (ironic. is it not?) Eh, it's not scary but we have a while to think of something, hopefully not so last minute this time... OH YEAH, and MAYBE go to Kings Dominion Hauntfest.. I||Happy Halloween, remember it's trick OR treat...||I

I'ma be a bum for Halloween. 3nodding
It's a lot funner then one would think and I was a bum two years ago. You're never to old for candy! And as a bum I tend to receive a tone of dulce! biggrin
