A small occult shop owned by Freya Von Der Bach at the recommendation of her Teddy Bear. Said Bear always sit on the counter, next to the register, keeping an eye on the customer to make sure they aren't stealing anything. The shop was based on a little doll house that Freya used to own when she was little. In fact, that same house is now sitting in a corner of the shop, which is very weird, since she had lost it in Denmark around twenty five years ago...
The shop sells things like Clocks, Candles, Charms, Frog Eyes, Newt's tails, shrunken heads, all the things you would normally find in an occult shop! Well, not exactly, all the thing. There is one thing that might strike as being a bit... odd. Yes, even in a shop that sells shrunken heads, something strikes out as an oddity, and that something is nothing else but the giant tank near the entrance, or rather, the giant octopus living in it. Gunther, the octopus, used to live in Freja's house, but with the number of time the cephalopod tried to commit suicide, Freja thought it would be better to move him to her work place, where she could keep an eye on him.

Bianca Nicole MarigoldBianca Nicole Marigold used her key to open the Magic Box's front door. She was only an assistant at the shop, but she liked to be early so Freja wouldn't have as much to do. Bianca knew how to read tarot and had a sixth sense about things, but she could tell that the Von Der Bach's abilities far exceeded her own. It was mainly why she liked working there. It helped her improve. She sighed as she smelled the familiar scent of the candles mixed with the musty smell of the old books. It was comforting to the dark haired beauty.
She flipped the sign to open and looked around contentedly. She was there first and everything was just how she left it. Bianca walked to the back putting her purse down and tying her long dark hair in a ponytail as she grabbed the broom, sweeping up the floor for the moment as she waited for Freja to arrive. Bianca liked the girl, even though she was slightly older, she had the urge to take care of her, much like she tried to do with her own siblings. Bianca sighed again at the thought of Shine, who was at the moment practicing her routine for the circus. She was determined to be the funniest clown and steal the show. Bianca hated the thought of her younger sister's acrobatics. She was always trying to flip a bit higher, do something just a bit more dangerous. Bianca was sure it was driving her to have premature grays.
But she shook it off as she continued tidying the store.OCC: If you want me to delete this I can! I just wanted to get posting for a few characters :3

In fact, she had never left it. After spending the whole night running after Gunther who had, once again, escaped his thank in another try to commit death-by-land, the woman had all so simply ran out of energy and crashed…. On top of a bookshelf. One wouldn’t be to judge the sleeping habits of a magic shop owner, for only by sleeping on top of bookshelves would one get a real connection with the Spirit Of Air and form a bond with them, developing your own mental abilities! … or so she would claim to anyone asking her why she was doing there. Truth to be told, that was just a big fat lie, one of the few things that Freja would actually admit to being a fraud. She didn’t want someone to think it was (for her) strange to be sleeping in such an odd place. She had simply ran out of energy from running, jumping, climbing and falling all while trying to catch the octopus and had passed out on top of the bookshelf near the entrance, right next to the water tank, after she had thrown Günter in it; her last action before passing out. That was why she would came up with such a ludicrious idea as air spirit to anyone asking her instead of admitting to have been almost beaten by her pet… Or was it Xochiquetzal, her daughter’s, pet now? The preteen was spending much more time with it than anyone else, after all.
As the sound of the little door bells, when Bianca entered the shop, the woman perk up, looking around her trying to figure out what time it was. Could it be that she had slept all through the night and it was now time to work again? Oh yes, it was. It was with a sign that she decided to let herself roll out of bed.. Oh, right. No bed. Bringing the whole bookshelf with her as she fell to the ground, it was no surprise that the noise she made was quite infernal. Thankfully, no silly situation like a domino of bookshelf had happen. Things like that only happened in cartoons and not in real life, unlike running octopus. ”Ow-ow-ow-ow”, she whines, rubbing her arms, legs, face, back – Everythign as she tried, painfully, to get up. ”W-welcome to the, uh, ah, Magic Box”, she started to say as she swallowed her pain. ”I’ll be right there to help you… soon… maybe… hopeful.. aaah….” On second thought, today was a wonderful day to die, and so, she chose to just let herself fall back on top of the few dozens of books she had already pushed away from her.

Bianca Nicole MarigoldBianca was lost in her thoughts as she swept, she jumped when she heard Freja speak. She turned and saw the owner of the store and her employer on the top of a shelf. Bianca bit back a laugh when she saw the woman wobble. "Oh goodness, Freja! Do you need some help? Are you quite alright?" She asked, twisting the handle of the broom as she tried to figure out how to help the purple headed witch.
Bianca hovered unsure as Freja fell back onto the pile of books. She suddenly remembered the small stepladder in the back room and leaned her broom against the counter before retrieving it. She set it up and carefully climbed the steps. "Is there something I can help you with?"She continued. Bianca would be lying if she didn't think that it was odd to find Freja on top of a shelf, but at the same time, it wasn't as odd as some of the things she's come across when working at the Magic Box.OCC: ...

Well, wasn't that a good question. The woman opend her left eye eye, looking over toward Bianca, seeing her upside down, considering the position that shop owner was it. Since she didn't seem to be dying right now, unfortunately, it would be nice for her employee to help her, she thought. "I'm... I'm kind of s-stuck under... under all those b-books.", she stuttered all while trying to move out of there, without any success. Having a whole shelf of book fall on you wasn't the easiest thing in the world to get away from! That, and those books were quite heavy! Maybe she should change for a pocket version of all her grimoires... Nah, not like something like that would ever happen again... Hopefully. Knowing herself? It was only a mater of time until the bookshelve next to her gave her the same fate as the one she had been laying over. "I... I don't think I'll survive... Tell my husband.. that.. .I love him... And my eldest daughter... get to keep the octopus... and the youngest... the shop." Yes, she was being overly dramatic now, but would one expect anything else of the one woman who was sure that mixing dried rat tail with rosemary and goat saliva would cure any headaches? "Or if you have the time... can you move some of those books away?" xxxxx♜ ♞ ♜ xxxxxxxx eye of newt and tongue of dogxxxxx ⇨ ⇨ ⇨ ⇨ ⇨ ⇨ ⇨ ⇨ ⇨ xxxxx GIVE ME YOUR FIRST BORN

Bianca Nicole MarigoldBianca bit back a smile at the owner's dramatics. It reminded her of her younger sister. She began picking up the books off the woman as she began listing off her last requests. She carefully picked up each book, surprised by the weight. "I will do so, Freja." She said as solemnly as she could manage as she slowly worked to free her employer. Bianca took as many books she could carry down the ladder and set them in piles on the already cluttered floor. Finally after the third trip, the purple-haired woman was freed.
"There we go, no worse for wear I hope?' Bianca chirped, pleased with not dropping any of the books off the ladder. She smiled up at the woman, offering a hand for her to take. OCC: sorry for the delay!

~New Day~ Jacob didn't spend very much time out and about – as anyone who tried to start a conversation with the man would know, it took a lot of effort to complete the duties of a priest! Especially in this particular church! But, on occasion, he'll discover that he managed to complete all of his tasks before it got to be too late.. Which really meant it to be about an hour before midnight. Constantine was in bed, the church and shrines were clean, and Jacob had come to a halt in his studies. There was only so many ways he could interpret the little information he had on the island's beliefs, especially when the one woman who had them all memorized to the max had died years ago. That was probably why these rare moments of free time had become more and more frequent as of late – which alarmed him. He was still young and if his life's work was to be stopped now, how was he to spend the rest of his life? In such monotony that a regular housewife was subjected to?
He needed a means to learn more and that was why, in his panic, he had rushed straight over to the magic shop to search for someone to answer him. He didn't like the shop very much – it felt almost like it demeaned his own faith somehow to label mythical beings as magic, something that was more commonly associated to children cartoons and whatnot. But, he couldn't deny that this was probably the sole place to know anything more about the fae folk than he could gather from the common passerby. So, there Jacob stood, just inside the shop and already feeling this to be a bad idea as he watched an octopus sleep idly in it's tank. Goddess, where did he walk into?

After a few hours of wandering around the shop, Jacob decided, finally, that he wasn't going to learn a damned thing there. The employees were just as weird and abnormal as the merchandise and, whenever he gathered enough guts to approach one, he quickly found himself hurrying back somewhere else with claims that he figured out whatever they thought he was asking about. They were all nuts here! Even the weird little girls who he continuously seemed to bump into every few paces.. or girl.. or girls.. He couldn't decide. He never paused long enough to get any key features outside of the fact they were in a dress and had purple hair – which either meant they were twins, sisters, or just the same child over and over. Regardless, catching a glimpse of them and feeling the sharp shiver run up and down his spine made him appreciate his own adoptive son just that much more. He was quiet and could be a bit strange, but at least he wasn't that.. whatever that was. In the end, the experience could be considered just as he had warned himself it would be – strange, uncomfortable, and, Goddess knows, he wasn't coming back. The man left without anything in hand to go back to his church and maybe try to shake out the smell of the magic shop from his robes.
