She didn’t want to be patrolling. In fact, Super Sailor Albireo wasn’t sure she ever wanted to patrol again. Ever. The senshi was sitting in the park where the attack had happened, looking up at the cloudy night sky. She had looked at the mirror that was sill hidden in the bushes, and she couldn’t help but wonder if those…’senshi’ could come out of them as well as go…into…them.
She sighed and just shook her head, somewhat hopelessly, twirling her long strand of bangs around a finger. She was a monster. Just like Zinkenite said she’d be someday…she didn’t want that. She didn’t want…a Negaverser…the enemy to be right about something she just couldn’t control. What…was this some type of…self fulfilling prophecy? Was it like what the fortune tellers did, make some vague reference and get inside your head…
That must be what was going on…and it was working, oh so well.
Another sigh escaped Albireo’s lips and she squeezed her eyes shut. Now wasn’t the time to be angsting over stuff like this. Now was the time…to better herself! To keep herself out of the level that the General King had said that she very well might one day fall into.
She just had to hope that something would…help her out of this rut.

Roll, tumble, tumble, sneak. Pippin had manage to snatch himself a piece of wonderful blueberry pie and he wasn't going let anyone take it away from him. He he finally stop from where he had stole the pie and landed in the park. It was dark enough that he could enjoy his pie without anyone wondering how a cat had a pie and why he was eating it. He smiled and started to dig in. He let out a small purr enjoying the mixture that moved around in his mouth. It was wonderful, sweet with a small bitter bite that blueberry gave off. He was happy, no he was overjoyed. Not a lot of time was he able to steal a piece of pie.
As he manage to bite down on the last piece he had sense something. Someone was here and not a typical someone. Someone who he had been looking for. An animal that he looked high and low for.......who was it.....He couldn't manage to figure out what animal he had located but he excited that he had pick out the trail. Oh! This was great, pie and one of his animal. He licked his lips and went off.
Walking towards the trail of this animal hum a small tune, happily. He was going to meet another person today who would join his dragon in their team. Walking up his eyes laid upon a pretty super senshi sitting in the park. He couldn't help himself and ran right up to her with a bright smile. "Hi! I'm Pippin and you're one of my animals....." he pause and close his eyes to zone in more on hi sense and smile. "My swan! My wonderful swan! What are you doing here! I'm so glad to meet you." he finish with a bright smile.
He moved around her to gain a full view of her beauty.

Super Sailor Albireo blinked, hearing someone talking to her…Pippin? What was a Pippin? The girl sighed and didn’t seem to want to open her eyes, comfortable laying on the ground. Finally though, she opened an eye, seeing a cat sitting next to her. A very, very small…kind of adorable cat. What was with all of these cat meetings? First Dahlia…then *********, and now this one…this…Pippin? Huh. Albireo sat up and stretched slightly giving a yawn. “Hello…Pippin. I’m Sailor Albireo…what do you mean I’m one of your animals? I’m not an animal…I’m a person.”
Did she look like an animal? Her face was set in a frown and she sighed, looking at her hand in its dainty lacy glove. An animal. Hm. Was that how the negaverse saw her? Is that why Painite always found it fun to try and slaughter her…like she was some sort of cow or piece of livestock…
After a good few seconds, she pulled herself out of this thought, seeming somewhat pained. Her mind let her know he was talking about her sphere…She was the Senshi of Swans…Oh. That type of animal. “I’m just…hanging out, Pippin…what are you doing here?”

He wondered why she didn't open her eyes. It was suppose to be a joyful event. Two wonderful team mate meeting again after a long time of not seeing each other. Pippin was happy why wasn't his beautiful swan happy. He started to frown until he saw one of her eyes open and his frown turn upside down as quickly as she open her eyes. "Salior Albireo! How wonderful, beautiful actually!" he paused to shake his head. "No No no! Albireo, you're indeed one of my animals! You're my wonderful and beautiful swan! Which is an animal!" he said with a small childish giggle. He was just so happy to see her.
He saw her frown and he did so also. Moving close her nuzzled her arm slightly. He just couldn't understand why she was just so sad. He looked up to her and spoke, "Please feel better my beautiful swan. I'm here now to take care of you and make you even more beautiful then you already are." he said with a hoping smile.

He seemed so pushy. Cute, but pushy. If she had been in a better mood, she was sure she wouldn’t be so out of it in regards to him, but, she was still feeling so guilty about what she helped do…and it was tearing her up inside. “One of your animals…You know, Pippin…that’s not very nice to say. At least it doesn’t seem nice to me…Maybe you should find a way to phrase it better? Are you the cat of the animal senshi, is that what you mean?”
It must have been what he meant, but him continuing to call her an animal…really stung. It made her think she was a great beast, vile and vicious, causing harm to everyone in her path. Fantastic. This wasn’t the help she wanted…even if he was being really cute and nuzzling her like that…
She reached down, gently petting him, scratching behind his ears. “You’re going to take care of me, hm? But you’re so cute and little, Pippin. And…I’m not sure there’s anything you can do to help me right now. I’m just…really kind of out of it is all. Things just keep happening, and I’m not sure how to stop them. I hurt someone…and I feel really bad about it.”

He looked at her and tapped his chin. A better way to say it? This did not compute in tiny mind. She was one of his animals and that was all. How else would he put it. She was his? That sounded worst then one of his animals. He frown and looked up to her. "Yes, yes! That's what I mean, but I don't really think it sounds bad...I mean you are one of my animals and you should be proud! Not everyone gets a wonderful little cat like me! I treat you right and get you ready to fight externally and internally. If there's something brother you, you can tell me even if it's not psychical. I'm a pretty smart cat that's been around for a long time and I know what I'm talking about, Miss Albireo." he said. It seem that he was almost scolding her for saying that but to make it up he gave a small purr and move to rub against her arm.
As she scratch his ear her gave a small purr. Yes he knew it was a cat thing but he couldn't help himself. He did enjoy to get petted. As she began to talk he frown once more. "Oh I can do a lot my wonderful Swan. Just tell me what's wrong and Pippin will save the day!" he said with a bright smile.

Albireo shook her head though gave a small laugh. Save the day, hm? Well, at least the cat seemed to have some spunk. And he was tiny and squishy and adorable…so that was good.
“Well, you think you can save the day, Pippin? At least you have a good outlook on your life, that’s a really nice thing to have. No…It was…It was a fight. With…well, with another Senshi…only…the senshi was…working for Chaos.” The girl sighed and flopped back down on the ground, covering her eyes with a lacy gloved hand. “She was attacking another senshi, and I jumped into the fight, and she ended up getting really hurt…”
The brunette gave a heavy sigh. “I just…I feel horrible. Completely horrible, and I’m not sure how to make the guilt go away, Pippin…I feel like a monster.” It was something. It had to be something. She was becoming a monster. A blood thirsty senshi…some monster that had helped to cause the destruction of her home world…
She still didn’t have the courage to go up there. She wanted to, but at the same time…she was completely terrified.

Pippin didn't understand why she couldn't believe in him. He was a smart, lovable, and wonderful cat that can do anything and she had to believe him, she just had too!
As she talked about what happen he, for the first time shook his head. "What a horrible thing.....dark senshi. I feel sorry for them the most. They had the light and they took it away from them." he said with a sigh. Moving into her lap he gave her a small nuzzle. "You did the right thing, Miss Albireo! You have to teach her lesson, maybe from you tough love the senshi can see the light again. You know tough love is just as good love. You aren't a monster, you're wonderful. Giving your help to another senshi is wonderful, nothing a monster would do." he said moving his paws around her hand.
He smiled as he tought about something that could cheer her up. Aha! Her home planet. She would love to see that. He move around her lap and grined up to her. "Wanna see something wonderful? Squeez my paw as hard as you can and think about home and I will take you there!" he said happily!

With Pippin’s reassurance, Albireo began to feel a little better, giving a little sigh. Well, that was one thing that was off her conscience…at least a little bit. She nodded. “All right…Thank you…I think I needed to hear that…I…I don’t know why I keep feeling guilty about everything…”
She grew quiet when the cat mentioned taking her home. What…Was this some kind of a joke? The color drained from the super senshi’s face and she cleared her throat, then closed her eyes, drawing in a shaky breath. “Ah…Pippin…No…no thank you…”
No thank you? She wanted to run. She wasn’t ready to see Albireo. She wasn’t ready to…to face that. She didn’t want to face whatever was up there.
The girl shook her head again, then put Pippin on the ground before pushing herself to her feet. “I have to go. Sorry…It was lovely to meet you, but I can’t. I don’t want to…Not now. Not…not yet. Maybe…maybe sometime later. Sorry, Pippin…”
With that, the Senshi of swans broke into a run. She wanted to be away from there. Away from the cat, from that damn park…
She just wanted to get away. So she continued running.

Pippin was baffle. One of the first time that this cat didn't have something to say at all. It was usual. Why wouldn't she want to go to her home planet! It was a wonderful place to see and she would feel more connect to herself. He watch as she ran away, unsure what to do. Was he suppose to follow her or to stay her.
He frown and curl up in a little ball. He was going to sit here until he felt better. He had lost his swan and he wasn't going to be happy again until he got her back or until he found a shiny new toy but that was a different story. Maybe Taila could take him shopping. That would make him feel better. He sigh and licked some of the tears that was falling down his face.
