Rolling to see who will go first

2 Sailor Nyx
Feel free to rp as usual randomizing betweeen 1 and 3 for each post, or to pre roll the results and go back and fill the posts in after the fact.
Rolling reference for ease
* For every post in a battle thread make sure you randomize between 1 and 3. The number you get will determine what happened during that turn.
1 - Uh oh, looks like you missed this time!
2 - Yay a hit! Your opponent should subtract 1 hp in their next post.
3 - Excellent hit! Your opponent should subtract 2 hp in their next post.
* Keep track of your HP on the top of each post you make please! When someone reaches zero the battle is over. (You can post once or twice more if you'd really like the two to wish each other well or what not)
If the dice decide to be jerks and the battle just keeps going on and on and on I may step in and ask for you guys to roll dice for some outside event to help out. Hopefully it won't be necessary

((Sorry it took me so long to post! I've been a bit scattered with Halloween coming up <3 ))
Orion wasn't sure how he had let Merope talk him into this...Gladiator battle thingy. Sure it was true he could use the practice, he hadn't been in a fight in quite a while, but that wasn't exactly an accident. At least now he was sparring against his own side so the risk of serious injury wasn't all that bad.
Silver eyes were trained on his opponent, flicking from the ornaments which were his goal, to her face. Well he might as well get the party started. Or not. The Super Sailor lounged in trying to land the first hit, but instead he tripped over his feet and hit the ground, catching himself on his hands and knees. Maybe he was more out of practice than he thought.
Scrambling to his feet he checked to make sure his ornaments hadn't broken and with that done he grinned at the other senshi. "I totally meant to do that."

((No problem! I was busy with Halloween, too, so it worked out. <33))
No matter how the message for this "Duel of Destiny" had ended up on her phone, it had wheedled its way into her mind as a good idea despite its mysteriousness. Meeting other senshi and honing some skills? Alright! She had seen the multitudes at The Surrounding and had been awed at the power created there; she had to be a stronger part of that. Just jumping higher and running faster (which seemed to come with the suit, so to speak) apparently wasn't going to be enough. Better to learn here, against her allies, than against giant monstrosities in space.
Sailor Nyx had eyed her partner warily, with her mind also trained to the ornaments secured at her shoulder and waist. He was introduced to her by Polaris as Super Sailor Orion, so she certainly wasn't going to underestimate him. Which turned out to be a very good thing, because he didn't mess around. Sorta.
At any rate, it was a rather graceful recovery from tripping over one's self.
"Of course you did." The oh-so-witty retort would have been better if her attack, meant to hit Orion while he was down, hadn't flubbed up so oh-so-badly. She actually managed to trip over him, falling out onto the grass.
