
"Ha! what are you going to do...HYBRID?!" Laughs and jeers circled Jen as she stood in the center of the group, head low and a curtain of hair acting as the only barrier between her and the bullies. Two hands behind her pushed her roughly, her body falling to the floor. Jen pushed herself to her feet, her legs wobbling underneath her. A long nailed hand slashed across her face, leaving scratches bleeding on her cheek.
Jen did nothing. Until the girl who slapped her laughed and spat on her feet.
Snapping her head up, the curtain of hair dispersed in a blonde flurry, revealing two glowing neon blue eyes and a furious expression on her face.
"What the....your a freak!!" cried the brunette who led this gang attack.
"Yeah...you said that..." Jen snarled, her voice low and deep. Pulling her right arm back, Jen released an uppercut to the girl's chin, flinging the victim's head back with a yell. Turning away, Jen swung a heavy boot and squared it with the ribs of the second girl. The other four fled, tears and sobs leaving with them.
Shaking her head, the young lady Jen ran her metal hand through her long hair. Since that day, no-one had seen her eyes, since Jen thought it was the cause of all this trouble. Bandages now covered them, hiding the blue neon orbs from view. Kicking a metal sheet, Jen rose from her seat in her tin roof shack and pushed the door open. "This place is a dump...." she sighed, leaning on the door frame. She had been kicked out of her cosy room in the hotel 30 minutes away; the manager said due to violence issues
