Oh boy, she had lost Berfortoto too! She sure was good at these things.
A small, petite pink lioness ran through the grasses of the clear plains, silvery blue eyes darting back and forth the landscape in search of two specific lions: her sister, and the kind stranger who agreed to help her. She could have sworn she saw Berfortoto around and in the caves somewhere, but he disappeared when she went to go check again. How could she lose people so easily?!
"Iya, Iya!" she called out once again - it was not the first time the lands heard this call.
She sent a flock of birds scattering through her frantic movement and shouts in the distance. Despite the fact that she lost two lions very dear to her, one could still see a bounce - relatively cheerful for one in her position - to her steps.
"Iyaaaaaaa," she kept calling, never stopping to rest.
"Oh, what would Berfortoto do..?!"

She had been startled by the so close sounding yell that seemed to come out of absolutely nowhere. Who would be yelling like that Seth wondered and sought out the being who had the nerve to scream out into a beautiful peaceful scene. Sethunya listened to the sound, following it until she found the source.
"Who are you screaming about?" She asked as she came close to the pink colored lioness. She was beautiful that Sethunya had to admit and she seemed to have a lot of spunk. However she didn't so much like the screeching.
Then she giggled, "I'm sure they've heard you already you know."

Oh my, she had found a rather startling picture of a sunset planted on a leopardess walking up to her! She was surprised to say the least - and though she was looking for someone else, she sure was glad that this stranger came. Any company was great company to the pink lioness!
The small lioness giggled as well, her mood lightening just because the other leopardess seemed friendly. It was a good thing that many she met on her travels were friendly - there were only a few she thought she might want to stay away from next time.
"Why, hello!" she first greeted, and then answered, "If Iya had heard me, then she would have come... And Berfortoto too! Oh dear, I've lost two of my dear companions..."
She slumped to the ground a little, now in a sitting posture. She didn't fully realize this fact until just right now, and she wasn't usually good at losing things...
"Oh... What should I do? Next thing I know, I'm going to lose you, too..." she spoke out sadly, looking at the ground.

Sethunya looked at this loud mouthed lioness. Goodness how could anyone stand this lioness. Already this lioness seemed to annoy her. Then she saw the feared look. Though she didn't want to admit it, she guessed she'd listen to this other's needs. How the lioness thought she was going to lose someone she didn't even know confused her. How could she lose a stranger? Seth threw that thought out of her mind, she'd play along, after all she was good at games.
"You don't even know me and I don't know you. But I'm Seth, so we're on a name basis." Putting her paw out for this strange lioness. Maybe she could be a valuable friend later on in life, at this very moment, just another traveler in the rogue lands.

Despite the leopardess's stares, the pink lioness was a little too absorbed in her own world to realize any negativity that could have arisen from it. However, she smiled weakly at the stranger's next words, unsure of whether it was meant to be friendly or not. At least the leopardess offered her a name, and so the pink lioness took that part well.
"I'm Nyota'dhamira! Ooh I'm sorry, I hope I wasn't saying anything to offend you... I'm sure you haven't seen my sister, Iya, either. But since leopards usually hang around trees... I'm afraid Iya wouldn't even be near one, normally."
She took out a paw meekly to greet Seth's, smiling at this new prospect of a friend.
"I'm glad you're here, though, even if it's just for a few minutes. It's a little lonely without Iya, and now Berfortoto's gone... Thank you, Seth!"
Nyota'dhamira beamed at the leopardess, honestly and truly grateful for the momentary company.

Well her name was a complete mouthful, so she made up a nickname there, it's just what she did. "Well Nyo, I can help you look for her. I'm not leaving yet. I'm just wandering through. Not set on settling down just yet or found a place that I can call home." She shrugged, she was trying to make a conversation as this girl seemed to need one. "Though I like to prank others, do you?"
Now she was feeling giddy, she hadn't been in a woman's company in a long while. Now she was feeling like a cub again.

Seth had made Nyota'dhamira's happiness heighten, if that were even possible, by rightfully calling her by the nickname she had since birth. It was almost as if Seth was already a part of her family! As well, the leopardess was offering her help! Since her travels without Iya in these lands, Nyo was finding the strangers she passed by to be quite friendly and welcoming. She was fortunate to have stumbled upon these friends!
"Oh! Thank you Seth!" she exclaimed firstly, and then, "That's what me and Iya have been doing this whole time! Or, well, we did have a home, but we left it to see what we could find by ourselves, out of the mountains. But... prank?"
She tilted her head, a little familiar of the word yet not quite sure what it entailed, as there was little of that in her small family back at home.
"Ahh, I think one of my older friend's younger brother did that to her sometimes... What do you do, though?" she asked, smiling curiously, "Iya and I love to dance. Especially in the moonlight, but I don't think that's what you mean."

Seth grinned, "Well not a prank then." She didn't think she had a lot of things in common with Nyo except that they had similar personalities. "Let's go find your sister and friend. And no, that's not what I meant. I mean let's get into some trouble. Stir up a ruckus. You seem to be good at being able to to that." Seth was referring to the fact that Nyo could yelled so loud she would disturb the peace. Then again, disturbing the sleep of many other animals could be fun. Like splashing one, or sneaking up and yelling, or poking another. The day was still quite young and there was plenty of mischief to be had.
"Let's go find your companions while we have some fun." Sethunya grinned.

Even though it seemed like Seth and Nyota'dhamira did not exactly see eye to eye, the leopardess surely was going to make the pink lioness's day fun for a while. With all of Seth's grins, Nyo couldn't help but feel at home with the female, and would even act like a close friend to her.
She blinked away the confusion Seth offered in saying to look for her friends, and yet taking it back - what did she mean if not that? Getting into trouble wasn't something Nyo would have done - in fact, she would do quite the opposite, and stay away from trouble, such as losing her sister! However, Seth made it seem like something else... This could be something Nyo could learn.
"W-why thank you!" she chirped brightly when Seth said she was good at something.
She didn't really know what she was good at, and why she was receiving a compliment, but it didn't matter.
But fun Nyo knew! She beamed again, very happy that she bumped into the leopardess. She had more fun times with other lions, but this time would be a new change of pace!
"Yay!" she cheered, obviously still blissfully happy and without a clue to what sort of "fun" Seth meant, "Let's go! I'll retrace my steps, and maybe we'll find what we're looking for!"
And with that, she hopped through the grasses, leading Seth through to the way where she last saw Berfortoto.

They had done all they could though they did not find her companions. She had gotten all the fun she had wanted and now it was time for her to go. She couldn't travel with her, she didn't feel right. Someday she'd settle down, but as of right now. She just couldn't do that. Seeing them happy she was glad.
"Nyo. Thanks for today. Maybe we'll cross paths again someday but its time for me to move on." Sethunya said, "My full name is Sethunya. I'll miss the fun we had."
Then she was gone into the sunset, her pelt making her pretty much disappear.
