Lily was worried. Very worried to be precise. Her father had talked to her after she stumbled onto a phone conversation with Alex's mother about Alex. He hadn't been sleeping well, but last Lily had known he'd been fine. Of course he stayed a time at Lily's because he'd been sick, but at that time she still lived with her parent.
She currently sat in the car in Alex's driveway wondering if she was doing the right thing, but remembering that Alex's mom was worried. Worried enough to talk to her father, who talked to her. She needed to fix this, somehow, she did not want her friend to be a walking zombie. She'd been there, done that, and it had always been when she needed to get something off her chest.
She wondered if that was something Alex needed now. With a sigh she climbed of of her Lexus truck and made her way up to the Evans household and knocked politely waiting for the door to be opened. She was going to take Alex for the time being, convince him to stay with her ... maybe it would help.

School was out, his own black Lexus suv was in the driveway parked and empty of whatever contents it may have carried earlier in the day. Sitting at his desk he was attempting to wrap his brain around what he was reading so he could be prepared for an exam in English but he just wasn't able to focus. His mother was out, the office, and his father was downstairs in his office.
it was the elder Evan's male who opened the door, seeing as his son was busy with homework. The man was dark haired with dark hazel eyes. A kind smile on his face as he focused on the red haired teen at the door. Greeting her he pointed to the stairs informing her where his son was.
His room was as organized and immaculate as ever. His school uniform discarded and replaced by a long sleeved button up, the sleeves rolled up to just under his elbows, and tailor fitted jeans. His back to his door, which was closed, he had the Poe book open as he skimmed the page for the third time as he tried to keep track of what he was reading and organize his thoughts in order to actually understand what he was reading.
Slate eyes looked tired, dark circles and it looked like he had eye shadow on, he was lacking in sleep and really could do with a rest and someone to talk to more than he could and did with his parents. There were things he couldn't tell them and times he just felt bad for talking to them and occupying there time.He knew they were worried, even though he'd told them it was guy troubles. They had every right to worry.

Lily smiled greeting Alex's father and quickly heading up to the tidy room. It was one aspect about the pair that was indentical. Lily and Alex were both neat and Lily for one loved it. She loved coming into a room that was nice and tidy, everything in its place and Lily not feeling the need to go clean house on a person.
She walked right into Alex's room after giving a slight knock and headed over to his closet opening up and starting to talk while pulling out items of clothing.
"Your mother called my father Alex. She's worried about you," she said a shirt in hand, "said you weren't sleeping to well again," she continued her head disappearing in to the closet for a moment, "something about not spiders. I'm not sure, but my dad talked to me about it."
She turned with a pair of jeans in her hand, "so ..." she said looking at Alex, " help me would you." She turned going through Alex's things again and pulling out clothes.
"Anyway its decided. I came to kidnap you. You're going to come stay with me for a while and we are going to fix this. Maybe getting away will help. It's helped before right," she half of her disappeared into the closet once more.

Glancing over his shoulder, he'd assumed his father had been coming into his room though the knock was wrong. He had no reason to think it was Lily. But hearing her voice floating out of his closet he turned his chair around and got up. Stepping into his closet he stared at his life long friend.
"I-I wasn't aware my mother was worried enough to call someone, I guess she called your father because she knew he'd speak with you." As opposed to his mother calling Lily herself, which might seem odd for his mother. "Yeah, no spider sightings lately." He answered, leaning against the door to his walk in closet.
"I'm...moving in with you. Does my mother know?" Came the quick question as he leaned heavier on his doorway and yawned widely. "Alright...I'll get a suitcase. But tell me what about my plants?" He could leave them to his mothers care but he didn't like the idea of doing that, asking her to take the time to care for them. He wouldn't be able to make any salves or teas for Lily either. "Why don't I just...move in?" Not for a short time either, he hoped she read that in his voice as he slowly pushed off the door frame. Making his way into the long walk in closet. On a top shelf he had two suitcases. "Jeans in one and shirts in the other. Socks and other things...in with the jeans."

Lily turned and gave a smile, "yes she was and is still worried and no she doesn't know, but she will know by tonight."
She turned back to the task of gathering up shirts, debating briefly whether to leave them on the hanger and then deciding against it. They would have to go shopping anyway, hangers were cheap. "Your plants will be fine. I can all dad tomorrow and see about getting a greenhouse or two up in the backyard. It is a decent enough size. Just no poison ones in the house please and keep the greenhouse door close once we get it. I do not want Eamon getting into anything nasty."
She turned again putting the shirts she had in a suitcase, "also we already discussed you moving in. I did not have any intention on making you leave. If you want to stay I am more that happy to have you. You are after all my best friend Alex."
She moved further into the closet gathering up jeans and putting them into the suitcase. She hoped Alex's parents would mind, but it was his decision though even if Lily was technically there to kidnap their child. "Alex, you think you parents will be okay with this? I know you mom was worried, I mean you really do look like you could use a goodnight sleep, but still ..."
She was all rearing to go at first, but still she had her doubt even as she went about grabbing shirts and jeans and things.

"So she'll find you by you calling her after this? Or when she comes home and I'm gone and father tells her?" He questioned, wondering which it would be. He was sure his mother wouldn't have an issue with Lily's tactics, his mother loved Lily to pieces. It was like they were siblings, and were treated as such most of the time. He sometimes wondered if Lily's father ever slipped and called him son. His mother had made a slip and called Lily his sister on more than one occasion. His father had used the term daughter once or twice as well. It was amusing really.
"Of course not, and how about just one big one? Rather than a single small one or two of a medium size. So I won't need to walk from one to the other in rain or snow? It makes more sense anyway." Came the muffled reply, another yawn being muffled by a slender hand. "I know we did but I wasn't planning on moving in till my birthday. Though since your planning to bring me over for a while I figure we should just make it permanent a bit early, since it'll happen anyway."
"Try a few nights and no, you know they won't mind. I told them of the plan that evening, over dinner, about moving in after my birthday. I doubt they'll mind if things just happen a few months sooner. I'll mind which plants come into the house, though some I will bring inside I'll just keep them out of his reach and in my room." Moving to help, slowly, he went to get socks and boxers. His bed clothing and school uniforms were grabbed as well. "I'll have to somehow get everything else moved in this weekend, bedding, candles, and things. Unless you want a mover involved." If not, and his bedding remained here, he'd be sleeping in her bed tonight. He was not sleeping on a couch.

Lily was grabbing shoes now although she wasn't really to sure where to put them, so they went beside the suitcase, "I call her from my house after we've got your clothes and things there. You know I won't wait and have your father tell her. No I intend to tell her I kidnapped you and that we decided it would be best if the move we planned happened earlier."
Lily moved out of the closet and over to the desk that had Alex's homework on it glancing down at the reading. "One big one is just fine. Your the expert I will let you handle the details. I'm sure after I asked dad the two of you can work everything out. You know he'll be happy to do it." It was true, they'd been raised together and sometimes the words brother, sister, daughter and son were dropped from both sets of parents regarding the two and it made her laugh. She loved Alex and his family to pieces, just as they loved her she was always glad for not busy times when things were easy going for the lot.
She closed up the book marking them and sliding them back into their bag, she doubted any more work would be done for a bit on the subject and she made a mental note to help Alex out later. "Your right Im worried for no reason. It's not like I never kidnapped you before, it just you know this time its for permanent," she said grabbing up pens, pencils and the like and relocating them to the bag.
"I'm sure it won't be a problem, their are plenty of high places for plants. Have you any wheat grass, he can eat that, that can be put low. I bet Eamon would like that," she said heading back into the closet to grab a couple jackets and scarves as the weather was changing. "As for all your things, I am sure Xander will be willing to help tomorrow. A couple pretty please will help to get on board, but for now we should take clothes and the like, go home, have dinner and go to bed. We can call Xander to meet us here tomorrow and get everything moved over."
She started to zip up the shirt suitcase and grinned at her best friend, "sound like a plan to you?"

"Eventually I'll teach you to make your own tea, so I don''t have to do it for you." Eventually, maybe, ok not likely to ever happen. Truth be told he enjoyed making her teas and watching her light up when he offered the tins full of tea, especially if it was something new. This winter he'd have a mint tea for her, something fitting for the season. He'd just need more of the plants and more time on his hands. That was the biggest thing, well right under the nightmares, time was something he seemed to be lacking and didn't have the time to work out. If he could get the time to do that he'd be good.
"While you talk to my mother I'll call your father about the plans?" He asked, while bending, nearly over balancing and falling over, as he placed his pajamas into the case with his shirts. "I'll get something else for the shoes. I can't have them with my clothing." And risk his clothing getting dirty, not a chance.
"Like the time you kidnapped me for summer vacation when you went away?" He questioned with a shake of his head. "No, they won't mind. It's like me moving out to live with a slightly older sister. They'll visit us both and invite us over for dinners on the holidays and expect us to invite them over for dinner from time to time. You know how our parents are." he spoke with an ease that spoke to the years they'd been friends.
"No, but I can get some. I have cat n**, I've been letting a local stray in through my window. She's seemed to enjoy the catnip toes I stitched together." That was the reason for the cat bed which was on the floor next to his own bed, the pillow of velvet, and the little mouse like toys which were presumably filled with catnip. "Do you think Eamon will mind if she turns up somehow? Maybe if I bring her over once, I'm sure I can have mother or father let me know when she turns up here next, she'll be able to find her way back here." Dahlia would not be pleased if he moved and she wasn't informed of the change in address and couldn't find him, he didn't want to scare her or anything. It would be ideal if she could come and wander in and out of his and Lily's place.
Ahh yes, Xander would be easy to ask for help. They could likely empty his room out in a day. "I have school tomorrow...are you suggesting I take tomorrow off?" He could take the day off and get things done, maybe even get some time to think and organize his time. That would be a good way to spend a day off.

Lily laughed lightly, "even if you teach me to make it like you do, I bet you will still make it. Alex you can't fool me, you like doing it. I'm glad for it, you know I appreciate it."
She nodded when he asked about calling her father, things would be easier that way. Lily couldn't botch things up as far as the greenhouse was concerned and they could kill two birds with one stone. Another nod can for the comment about his shoes and Lily got up and headed back into the closet to grab a few more pairs, best to take as much as they could today.
She laughed thinking of that vacation, Rose had been a brat about Lily getting to invite Alex, but she was far to old to act as such so their parents ignored her complaints, beside she got over it, really Alex was like her little brother. Lily still had all the pictures from that vacation. "Yes," she said, "exactly like that time."
"Yes please," she said referring to the wheat grass then shook her head at Alex's comment about the cat. "I'm sure he won't mind to much, after all spent much of his time in the shelter for a long time, remember when I volunteered there. Mom said it was only a matter time before I brought the dog home, she was really surprised I took as long as I did."
Lily came out of the closet with more shoes and one of Alex's scarves piled up on top of her head, "Look," she giggled motioning to the kakhi colored scarf. "Beehive." She grinned laughing before her face turned serious again.
"Your not going back until you are fully rested. I can help you catch up with your work when you get back. I'm sure your teachers won't mind, they usually shrugged absences off."
She moved toward the door, "Now come on, we need a bad for you shoes so we can load up the car." She put the shoes down and placed the scarf on the handle. "Im going to go talk to you dad really quickly."

"Yeah...your right. I enjoy it, it's relaxing work." He answered as he sent a smile her way, something soft and even wistful. She was the one person he would teach to make teas and still do it for her, simply because he liked to do it for her. Not because he liked it, he'd teach someone else to make their own tea and leave them to it. Lily was different.
""I never did print any of those pictures For some reason every time I put them onto a disk the store couldn't open or see any of them. Think you could help with that? So I can get a few framed and put up about my new room." He didn't even need to ask, so he didn't. Honestly he may have a father who was a programmer but he was clueless when it came to anything beyond the normal uses for a computer.
"Your mother wasn't the only one surprised, I was as well. My parents as well." He added the last as an after thought almost. Shrugging as he moved about his room and his closet, working to get things packed.
"I have to, school project. I can't leave the other two all on there own. After the presentation I'll take off...as long as you want me to." Grabbing a pale blue and a pale gray checked scarves. He liked his scarfs, among other accessories. "Dad's down in his office working." As per the norm, the man had his set working hours, even if he did work from home.
"I'll finish up here while you talk to dad." And he would. He would likely pack all his clothing, he did have luggage, a whole collection of the expensive stuff. So while Lily went off to talk to his father downstairs he set himself to folding and packing his clothing while more luggage came out of his closet. His candles were also packed, and incense bottles. He was not leaving them behind right now. Finding he had nothing to put them in he managed to just grab the draws out of the dresser they were all in. He'd take the dresser draws, the dresser could come tomorrow.
Poor Lily, when she returned from the talk she'd see this...massive amount of stuff. At least she had a car and he did also?

Lily laughed lightly when Alex said he could open his pictures on the disk he put them and nodded when he asked if she can help. "Yeah, I'll take a look at it. If I can't get it, then I'm sure Rose or Xander can, or I'll ask my cousin. I haven't told you much about him have I. I mean really, a cousin I didn't know about until I was 16."
She smiled, "we'll have an even better summer this year. We will have to go somewhere special. It will be so much fun, maybe we can invite a few friends." Senshidom be damned she was going somewhere with Alex for a summer vacay and nothing was going to stop her.
Lily frowned slightly that her friend had to go to school when he really needed to out, but it couldn't be helped so she would take what she could get, presentation then break, but tommorrow that would be moving day.
She ran quickly through the house as though she owned the place right down to Alex's dad's office to inform him of the plans. She doubted that he was unaware, as they weren't exactly being quite. She knocked and went right in and that was it.
After she was finished she ran back up the stairs right into Alex's room, "You dad ...," she started before looking around. "Er wow ... I hope your not to tired to drive. Not sure my truck has quite enough space, even if I put down the back seats."

"No, you haven't told me much about him; aside from that major fact." He said with something of a shake of his head and a smile. It wasn't like he'd asked at the time either, he hadn't asked ever in fact. It was simply some unknown of family member who'd turned up, he still wondered where from and how. How did a family member fall through the cracks and not be known of? He knew how and yet he couldn't see how it could happen.
"Oh? Do tell, what friends and somewhere over seas perhaps?" He asked, lifting a brow as he questioned her. Curiosity coloring his voice. If they were going on a vacation he wanted to know where her mind was pointing them, and whoever else she invited along. "I take it no friends I know of." As he didn't know any of her friends, he only knew of some by name. He might breeze about some of the higher social circles but there was that higher level he hadn't yet reached, and Lily he knew had at least one friend that high. Would she be one such invited friend? Or would it be other people lower in social level? Not that it mattered, he just wondered what sort of other people she'd invite.
"No, I'll be fine. I'll put on some music and be perfect." A smile flashed over his shoulder to her. He hadn't been surprised to see her take off from his room headed for his fathers office, this was like her second home and always had been. It was...amazing really. There was no room or part of this house she hadn't been and wasn't able to freely go in to. She even had access to his painting room and green house. "In fact I should take my truck. I'll load up what plants I can fit and let them rest in my room." His room might resemble a jungle by evenings end but his plants, or a good many of them, would be there. "I'll see if mom can run even more by when she gets home from work...or maybe dad when he's done." Since his mother was likely to be tired when she got home. "I'm sure father won't mind too much....so long as I take the roses. He doesn't like getting stuck by them, and he seems unable to avoid it any time he's near them." Shaking his head as he spoke, a short laugh passing his lips.
"Well, lets get the suit cases down and then you can help with the roses and a few of the other plants?" He asked, hoping she wouldn't mind helping him. "I'll leave the herbs, mom uses them for dinner. I'll buy new herbs for myself. So I'll grab the roses and...the orchids. I'll have dad bring over what he can." He'd prefer to be the one to take the lanky, leggy, orchids since they could easily be damaged. And he could, as he moved everything, give them all a check for pests and such. He wanted to be really careful with them and the roses.
Looking to the luggage he sighed, wondering what to grab first. Finally deciding on the old fashioned suitcase which stood up and held things on a hanger bar. "Shall we get started, this could take a while." And would insure he woke up from whatever sleep deprived state of mind he'd previously been in.
