Latios flew over to Latias and nuzzled her cheek.He had hidden himself very well but Latias had wandered away from him.He then led her to their home,a island in the middle of a popular lake.Tourists would visit and feed them berries and pokemon food.They even brought milk for Latias.Occasionally pokemon trainers would challenge Latios but he always won.

The girl hid behind a nearby tree shyly,shivering.Her parents had died and not wanting to go to an orphanage,the little girl packed her things then left her home.She had somehow found her way to the island,looking for food.She had been walking for miles and was starving.Her kimono needed to be cleaned.She had been practiceing to be a shrine maiden and was very good at spells for her age.Latios,used to dealing with children,slowly approached her then nuzzeled her cheek.The girl petted his head shyly.She had never seen pokemon before.

Latios took her to their private stream and let her wash up.Once she had hung her and clean her kimono on a branch to dry and changed into a shirt,sandals,and some house pants.Latios had got her a basket of berries and milk,not having anything else for a human to eat.The girl prepared a fire and the things she would need to cook fish.She had a skillet and some olive oil ready.She then picked up a empty basket and went to the lake.Useing one of her spells,she made some fish float to the top then scooped them up with her basket.She then quickly cooked them and enjoyed them with her berries and milk.She was six years old and had watched survival shows alot so she knew what to do to live outdoors.While she had been cooking,Latios had been eating with Latias.He came over her,smelling the fish and wondered what it was.Latios had never had fish before although he had saw them in the lake sometimes.The girl fed him a piece and he smiled.It was good and had abit of seasoning on it.The girl smiled and gave him a fish to share with his .Latios flew over to Latias and sat the fish in their basket.He tore the fish into pieces using his claws then nuzzeled the basket to Latias."Hu hu~" (try it.its good.) He said and smiled.A pichu appeared and ran over to the basket.He took one of the pieces and ate it happily.The small girl took a baby mew from her back and fed it the milk.

Latios ate some of the fish and let the pichu eat the rest while he made a nest for the little girl.The girl cuddled the small mew as it fell asleep.

"Your welcome Latias-chan." The girl said and giggled.

"Pichu Pi!"(Leave my mama alone!) Pichu said and used spark close to Latias.A plusle and minun jumped onto Latias back."Plusle Plusle." Plusle said(If you hurt mama,we'll use spark on you.)."Minun Min Minun." Minun said(We had to fight off mean pokemon today to protect mama.We dont mind using our teamwork to beat you up too.).Plusle waved at Pichu."Plusle Plus." Plusle said(Pichu,come help us make our super cool tree-house.)."Minun Min." Minun said(Theres lots of trees on this island.We'll have more than enough wood to make it.)."Plusle Plus." Plusle said(Then we can decorate it and add furniture.).As soon as Mew heard the word 'tree-house',he wanted to help."Mew Mew Mew."(I'll turn the branches into boards and nails.)

Pichu ran to catch up with Mew,Plusle,and Minun.They climbed up the biggest tree in the forest and started building the tree-house happily.They couldnt wait to have their first very own clubhouse.They wanted to make it big enough for their mom to be comfertable in.The girl went to Latias and hugged her.She understood pokemon speech very well.It was one of her lessons in becoming a shrine maiden."They were just trying to protect me.I had to rely on them to protect me from the wild pokemon around while we were walking.Dont worry,Latias." She said
