And I have absolutely no Idea what medium I'm supposed to use on it. I could write, I could Put it into graphic novel form, damn near anything. And the fact I don't know what to do with it is stressing me right the deuce out. Thoughts/ opinions? I'm just looking for input at the moment.
And Don't worry, I'm planning on making this into a thread where I update it's progress and excite everyone with new drawings and excerpts. Hence why I've reserved the first few posts :p
And I know that this thread will inevitably have to change what forum it's under, but for now I'm trying to steal the attention.

~Reserved~ ;Story- We start with a planet with five habitable, explored and culturally advanced continents, all with their own countries and relations to one another, although kept on a small scale in number. Races are diverse and widespread, the common person having accumulated particular aspects from other bred out variety, such as the elven-esce pointed ears. every thousand years, give or take some change, A crystal planet in the solar system in elliptical orbit eclipses the sun. At the perfect center of this particular happenstance, this mystical phenom sheds new life into the planet, and has done so for eons. This particular occurrence is in fact a willful act of some creatures not of the planet itself. But obviously, something so grandiose and benign has the chance of being twisted and corrupted into a perverse echoing of it's former self Hence the story. This occurrence, having happened twice in written history, has been the object of extensive study, by forces looking for the betterment of their world, and by those who'd prefer that it was in their image. A select few however, had stumbled onto things beyond the reach of their society. Elder Beings had once in fact inhabited the planet, long before humanity's onset. These elder beings had warred with other species, and were far more advanced in their civilization than the world had seen since their departure. They had been wiped out- or at least it was insinuated by the youngest dated records found- by a sweeping 'nightmare' that blanketed the planet in darkness for one hundred years. those that did however survive that, simply vanished, and the planet was left uninhabited. How humans, and the other various races, managed to appear is a completely different story. Point is, again, malign powers congregate to perform nefarious deeds, and they of course are going to try and bend this grace to their design. Along with all this wonderful sci fi pleasantry, there is an extensive mythos behind the cultures and their people, things that they have faith in and others they cannot possibly explain. Items of power are held by persons of worth- items crafted with crystal shards, apparently shards of the same crystal the other planet is made from. It's composition remains a constant, although the crystal itself can range in color and power. some bestow knowledge upon the user, others strength and control over aspects of the world around them. Not to be used lightly, they eventually ended up the tools of the people's leaders, guarded and revered. Particular pieces, however, proved even too powerful to be trusted to anyone, and they were abandoned to the darkest corners of the world, enough to deter _almost_ any from claiming it for themselves. and of course, those who weren't deterred, never came back from their quest.

~Reserved~ -Characters; We'll start with the ones you know; First off, Storm of course, being the hero. A few tweaks here and there as compared to how he's been played in ATE, as well as an updated wardrobe and backstory to fit setting. He hails from a small province of a culturally diverse and smoothly run country. The local law was for the mainstay left for the municipalities in question to create and enforce. This led to a variety of different systems to right grievances. Where he's from, Every person has the right to settle dispute by single duel, as long as the challenge has merit, was made with witnesses, and both parties involved are able to stand for them self. These duels would be fought hand to hand in front of an audience, sometimes such large ones that the fight itself was advertised and moved to a location able to host most who'd want to view. In a way, this local law system bred a code into them, honor and sport, and not to make a fuss over something you wouldn't fight for. The country was wise in its ways and learned in it's approaches, thus schooling for adolescents was mandatory (I know, wherever you go). Ah, the Lovable Gwarniskal'del Ul'Moutroth. Longer hair, less color in the fur, Evil brother on a throne that's influence spreads over nearly a whole continent. Don't worry, there are plenty more on the way. Just wanted to get the ones we know out of the way so you all can actually get excited.

~Reserved~ ;Worlds- Leave it to the pagan to have a Pacifistic view on pantheon-ism, lol. Well, Gist of it is that just because one person doesn't believe it, doesn't mean it's not true. Also means that just because the other person's is true doesn't mean that the first person is wrong. Storm, And his ancestors, believe in deities that are different compared to many of the other cultures inhabiting this planet. Gwarn's people are divided not only by borders but by the gods they hold allegiance to as well. The elder beings of the planets, the gods of the different races, sure, they hold a great deal of sway when it comes to the evolution of this world, but it doesn't mean that they're locals. Most don't push religion, it's personal. It isn't taboo, though, and it isn't something shameful for public. just a fact of life. Nevertheless, the Crystals of this planet, and the crystal planet, we placed here. Just like countless ruins of civilization that is so bizarre and by definition alien, that it can't be proven or believed that the races alive now had any sort of hand in their creation. Okay, now we go through the very fast and non-descript list of 'worlds' visited; Earth (we'll just call it that for now), The evredeep, (think Underdark, if you want), The Moon, the crystal Planet, And two other one's i'm just going to leave exempt for a while.

Obviously the only choice available is to make it into a cake, then feed it to people. =D SHARE THE LOVE! *edits* And, while I am indeed flippant, I do support all stories, and yours looks like fun. >w< I very much enjoy reading them no matter the medium. Maybe a storybook is in order? A little bit of all worlds?

Well, It really all comes out when I draw. The story progresses as it comes out on paper, and most of the time my mind is coming up with dialogue and other little details as the piece is being finished. Still think it would make an interesting RTS game though

I understand that perfectly ^^ I don't have a facebook or a deviantart or anything for that reason. Though if we want to be published in any medium someday we're really going to have to get used to the idea of other people looking at our work XDD

I just don't want someone else to come up with something remarkably similar to mine just before I want to do anything with it :/ An original idea nowadays could be worth billions, as long as it's original. not that I'm saying that i'm presuming to make lots, if any at all.

Ahhh, originality. You know, there's an argument that goes there's no such thing as originality and everything has been done in some way before - it's just a product of the human condition. Everybody copies each other. I actually had an element of one of my stories I've been making up since childhood that I saw in a video game a year or so ago and I was like "...HEY. That's my idea!! They stole my idea and now if I ever publish it everyone's gonna think I stole it from them!!"
Then again, I probably took the idea from somewhere else in the first place. Product of dat human condition again! Just think of that old saying by the late, great Steve Jobs: "Good artists copy, great artists steal." XD

XD wow... Goes along with my cynicism that everyone is capable of theft. Hell, Tolkien ripped of Norse mythology for his books. I just want my work to have the chance to have it's credulity poked at with accusations of plagiarism dating a few good years before it's publication... preferably to works older than I am, that would put a smile on my face smile
