Things had died down, for the most part, though mentally all was not well. That aside though Alexandre had decided the other evening on a meeting between himself and Leto. He'd decided that they needed to go out for tea, as civilians. It was a few nights back that he'd told her that, while they'd been out gathering energy together. He'd given her the night, time, and place.
It was down a little back street in a eclectic area of the city. The place was packed, no surprise, the Witch's Cauldron was popular among it's own artistic group of people. The place looked oddly out of place, a house of an old fashion with two large front windows where people were seated talking and laughing. A long satee done in crushed velvet and an unmatched arm chair followed by another couch for two across from the first, a coffee table between them. Both the front windows were filled with this scene.
Into the house/cafe there was old wooden floors that creaked just a little, to the right side was the counter where you paid and gave over a number for how many were looking for a table. But also where drinks were made and in a glass case, about knee height, were pastries on display. At his left there was a large should be display case for china only it had jars of teas, each labeled in a neat scroll.
When he got to the counter he told the girl, waitress, that he needed a table for two. Two menu's taken by her and he was lead off to where a dining or living room may have once been. Chairs and tables all around he was lead to a table, where one could play chess on it's checkered top, with two chairs. A window right at there side, decorated with blue lights. How nice, he really did like this place, for a reason. As odd as it was to come to a place like this it was nice, quaint and filled with a fair share of artists and such.
He'd told Leto to just look for a blond in a silk button up, some way for her to find him in the crowd of people. He waited, going over a familiar menu. She'd be here soon, he didn't for a moment think she would leave him here on his own.

While Leto may have exchanged civilian names with a Corrupt Senshi of the Negaverse, she had yet to make friends with one outside of powered life. So when Benitoite asked her to meet him for tea it was safe to say that she was skeptical about the entire thing. But she agreed, and while she wasn’t very trusting just yet, she would never go back on her word.
She arrived at the Witch’s Cauldron a few minutes after the time they had agreed. Afterall, better fashionably late than never, right? Whatever, didn’t matter.
Quinn peered in through the window, looking at the coffee house that looked awfully artsy fartsy, which was definitely not her scene. She looked down at her outfit of torn jeans with her very worn black converse hightops, World of Warcraft “for the Horde” t-shirt and unzipped black hoodie thrown on on top. Not exactly the most fashionable person in the place, that’s for damn sure.
With a shrug, she pushed the door open and went inside, scanning the area for a blond guy in a silk button up. She figured she spotted the right guy in the crowd and wandered over to him. Assuming it was him she sat herself down with a big grin on her face.
“Hi.”

It wasn't so artsy one would be seen as normal with a silk shirt on. It stood out, hence picking it. A nice silvery blue color to compliment his eyes and black jeans that were altered a bit to fit better. He didn't like pants that were too tight, but too loose was just downright annoying. So everything got an altering the moment he purchased the pants.
"Leto?" He asked, taking in the female form across the table from him. The laminated, ten page, menu was pushed to her. The first two pages was teas of all kinds followed by the coffees and espressos tan cakes and those flavored soda's he wasn't fond of. They had a a nice variety to offer, it was one reason he loved the place. Not to mention the deserts were all made here, in the back room. The people were good to talk to and worth dealing with.
"Glad to see you made it." Assuming it was her. A hand held out to her then. "Alexandre Evans, a pleasure to properly meet you." A genuine smile graced his features. "Tonight's my treat, so whatever you'd like to try, enjoy the evening." He'd already decided tonight was a night to treat her and let her know for sure that he wanted to be her friend, he could be trusted and seen as a friend to her and her side.
"I hope you don't mind the atmosphere. I know it's not to everyone's liking but I find it rather relaxing, a nice way to wind down when it's needed."

Quinn couldn’t help but laugh quietly when the boy across the table called her Leto. Well, at least she knew she had the right guy!
“Yeppers!” She took his hand in hers and gave it a firm shake. “Nice t’meet you. Name’s Quinn,” she said, her English accent a little heavier when she wasn’t powered up. “Quinn Bennett,” she added on when she realized he’d dropped his last name as well.
When he mentioned to her that tonight would be his treat, her deep red eyes lit up. “Really?” She asked, her excitement almost child-like. She grabbed the menu in both hands and began to read it over eagerly. So. Many. Options. She was almost overwhelmed with the billions of types of teas and coffees and pastries that they had listed. Couldn’t she just hand the menu back to the waitress and say yes please to everything on it?
“I don’t mind the place at all,” she said, her eyes remaining on the menu. “It’s kinda cozy, actually. And I could definitely use the down time after the last few weeks.” She looked up and smiled at him.

Of course he called her that, he didn't know any other name for her. Had he known another name he'd have used it, but he didn't. "English, I thought you were one of those people who's just seen too many of those British movies that have been coming out." Harry Potter and such. He'd seen it, girls going in to watch the movies with accents, who weren't from England.
"Of course, I don't say things I don't mean. You ca try whatever you like, enjoy yourself. Tonight's a night to relax and what not." A small wave of one slender hand. "We've both been busy, and beyond." He stated while moving to the pastries section of the menu. Maybe he'd try something, normally he was not one for sweets. Sweet he liked but in terms of fruits, fresh fruits and juices.
"That's one reason I like it here, the menu is another. How are the new members doing, learning well? Any show a lot of promise?" He asked, lowering his voice as he spoke, not that he figured anyone would over hear them. "I'm hoping they all did well then, came out good." Referring to that battle. He'd worried over new people coming out right in the heat of a battle.

She laughed loudly when he said that he didn't really think she was English. "No no," she snickered. "I'm from England, my... Well, Kathryn, when I used to be her. Her parents live there still." She tried her best to smile and make sure she didn't look upset at bringing up her old parents. "I got shipped to Destiny City just over a year ago because my-- Er, Kat's cousin lives here." She scratched her head and laughed nervously, realizing how complicated that must sound to this guy.
Her half-smile turned into a huge, happy grin when she saw the vast amounts of different types of cheesecakes they carried. Considering cream cheese was pretty much the best thing in the history of ever to Quinn, that obviously meant the cheesecake was the best dessert ever. She licked her lips as she read over the menu.
She nodded at him as he spoke while she continued to read the menu. "They're doing well. Some better than others but so far so good. Half of my team is living with me, actually," she laughed again. "They all came home okay, thank goodness."
When the waitress came by to take their order, she asked for a slice of chocolate cheesecake and a cup of hot green tea. After Benitoite ordered as well and the waitress was a safe distance away, Quinn looked up at him.
"How about you guys?" She winced, remembering some of the damage that some of the Negaverse members had taken. "Is everyone okay?" she chewed her lip anxiously.

Nodding he smiled. It did sound complicated but he didn't ask for clarification. He didn't know if bringing it up, asking her to explain, would upset her. Upsetting her was the last thing he wanted to do, he wanted a friendship here and above all an alliance that would be strong. He knew, from that lovely first meeting between the Dark Mirror Court and the Negaverse, that some members didn't like these dark new form of senshi. But he had no issue with them and liked the alliance and wanted to help strengthen it by working on a friendship with the crimson eyed Leto, she was strong and had rank within the group. That much was obvious and he could work with her, seeing as she seemed to trust he didn't have a thing against her. So he didn't want to upset her. It wouldn't be good for an alliance nor a friendship, and both were important.
"That's good, I'm glad to hear it. If you or they need anything and I can help, let me know. I can offer a guest room, I'll explain it to my parents somehow - a new friend who needs a place." They'd buy it if he played it right. God how easy it was becoming to short stories and to leave certain things out and to twisted things so he wasn't lying but he also wasn't being upfront about things. He still wouldn't lie but he was omitting things and taking things in literal or more abstract terms. Yes, of course he had an issue with a male. That issue being that senshi could be male and they didn't like him. He knew how his parents meant questions but he didn't give an answer to fit that...but it fit in some way. It was the answer he'd given his parents when he finally told them when it seemed something was depressing him. That had been a day and a half ago. He had refused to go in to detail, as he was unable to unless he wanted to out right lie to them. There was no way to explain to them anything particular that had happened.
His own order was an espresso with pomegranate syrup and a bit of whip cream on top. As for a desert he'd decided on a slice of chocolate cake. The two would go well together.
"We took injuries, but all are alive. One of our Generals was burned, a lieutenant seemed to have rib issues. I don't know if they were bruised or broken. We all made it at least. Some of us had starseeds to hand out." So they had, he didn't mention he was one of them to have handed one out. "Hopefully both our numbers rise further and the next time we strike against them it ends better, in our favor." That would be nice, very nice indeed.

"Thanks, I'll keep that in mind if any of them decide they want a new place to say," she smiled at the boy across the table from her. Negaverse Agent offering for Senshi to stay at his place- if someone told her a year ago that this would happen, she'd say they were crazy.
"I saw the burnt General," she frowned. "The guy that did it is friends with two of my former teammates... They triple teamed me up there too. I got lucky though, Ares and Alunite came to my rescue." She brushed her bangs away from her eyes.
"At least I've got the power of a Princess behind me, unlike Scylla and Gunn..." she clenched her teeth whe she spoke about the two girls. It was safe to say that Scylla in particular was a sore spot for Leto.
When the waitress came by to drop off their orders, Quinn looked up at the girl and smiled in thanks. She added a few spoonfuls of sugar to her tea, staring at the steaming liquid as she stirred it absentmindedly.
"I still don't know how we lost up there," she said quietly. She shook her head slightly. "I guess it doesn't matter. We should talk about something besides work," she laughed. Is that what it was? Work? That was her job now?
She took a sip of her tea. "Are you in school, Alex? Er, can I call you Alex? Or do you prefer Alexandre?"

"That's good, I'm glad they both helped you. I was rather occupied with one of your new members and trying to protect the youma." That last word was whispered. "I don't know how the General is doing, but I hope to see her soon." It was a good thing for Ares and Alunite to have saved Leto, he didn't want to see anyone on their side hurt or killed but everyone was bound to be hurt at some point. There was no way around that, as much as he disliked it. The senshi fought hard and dealt damage to them all.
"Yes, that is a good thing. Let us hope that, that fact never changes. It would be bad for us all should they gain a Princess." The white moon one, that would be bad for the side of chaos. For a moment he did wonder if the white moon senshi would realize their folly in supporting that princess if she should ever return and try to take over. When she tried to take over the Earth and take the peoples freedom. Would the senshi then realize their mistake? He was sure some would but he knew many would not see their folly.
Sugar was added to his espresso as well, poured in slowly - absently. As he stirred the sugar and whipped cream in he nodded. "I am, Meadowview and I don't mind. It's easier for most to just shorten my name." While he preferred his whole name it was long for people, and he did understand it. Setting the spoon aside, onto a napkin that they'd been given, he lifted the tall but slender glass cup to his lips. Taking a slow sip.

"Oh! I used to go to Meadowview. Graduated shortly before making the change." By the change she hoped that she was pretty clear that she meant changing from Order to Chaos and changing her identity in the process.
"I don't think you can really shorten Quinn. Well, unless you just called me Q. Or Qui? I dunno. I guess it would be pretty ridiculous either way." She laughed and took another sip of her tea.
Remembering that she had amazing looking chocolate cheesecake in front of her, she grabbed her fork and took a few bites.
"Holy s**t, I'm pretty sure this is the best cheesecake I have ever had," she said before taking another bite. "You are officially my new best friend for bringing me to this place."

"I'm still two years off from graduating. I just hope I make it through school." As dropping out or being killed were both likely options for what could become of his life. He wasn't sure right now to what wind his life would next be blown. It seemed he was rather adrift though land was in sight. He'd change, he'd mature more. He'd slowly become whoever he was meant to be and he knew it.
"Are you going to DCU?" How many people who graduated went there? It seemed the only choice really. Or at least the biggest and most often gone with option.
Laughing he nodded. "They make everything here, you can order a slice or two...to go if you want." He said with more laughter following his offer, an offer to treat her to more cheesecake. Slowly he dug into his own cake, it wasn't anything too heavy and rich.
"Just being a friend if good enough for me. I'm happy to have another friend and one who I can treat once in awhile and I don't need to keep secrets from." Who knew his other life and what he did. He felt...warm knowing she was happy and called him a friend. Another friend in his second life and another he could spend civilian time with a well. That was something treasured by the blond.

Hoping to make it through school - she knew that feeling all too well. She shook her head slightly.
"Nah, I'm not in school right now. I was living with Ares for a while, when I was dealing with the same thing the newbies are now. She helped me a lot but I figured at some point I needed to help myself so between working and patrolling, I just don't have the time for school right now."
She frowned a little. She never in her life would she have imagined that she would just up and quit her education.
"Thanks Alex," her frown turned into a smile. "I don't have a whole lotta friends, outside the Dark Mirrors. I mean, even just as Quinn. I lost a lot when I stopped being Kat and I just haven't had time to relax and make friends."
She appreciated Alexandre's company a thousand times more than the boy could possibly know.

It was something he couldn't picture himself doing but knew it may happen at some point. He had a lot on his plate, and more in the works of course. He had to better himself, to better help the cause. Not to mention studying for exams, working on papers, and managing to now get a good amount of sleep (between duty and nightmares) made it hard as could be.
"Then you can call me whenever you please, provided I'm not in school. We can train together, or I'll even join your group and work with them. We can go shopping, especially for Christmas if you want. We can do what any normal friends do, whenever were both free of course." He spoke, sincere and hopeful. He needed the normalcy in his life, the ability to be a normal teenager, it was needed immensely.
"It seems most of my friends are females and some I have not been in touch with for a while. I'm trying to organize time in for a book club to meet here. I just can't find the time, or I couldn't till now." Since the missing people were back and that mess was over with. Now maybe he could work on that, text the group and see who was free when and set up some time to meet here. He needed to get on with a normal life, he didn't want to completely sacrifice it.

"I would love that," she said sincerely. "I haven't had a normal life in a long time. I feel like I'm Leto more often than I am Quinn." She ran her fingers through her hair as she finished off her tea.
"I had one of my teammates over the other day, one of the guys? And I'm pretty sure that it was the most frustrating and confusing nights of my entire life. Somehow I've forgotten how to function as a normal teenage girl." She laughed, feeling embarrassed. A few weeks ago she wouldn't have thought she would even have one person to buy Christmas gifts for- let alone a whole group of friends!
"I think the team would really like it if you helped out. There's only so much I can teach them." She pulled a pen out of her purse and quickly wrote her cell phone number down on a napkin and slid it over to Alexandre.
That was what normal people did, right? Exchanged numbers with friends so they could make more plans to hang out? Maybe she'd get the hang of this teenager thing after-all.

"I'm starting to feel like I'm either Benitoite or a student. Little time to be myself, though I suppose I'll have a little more time to be myself now." Since things had been handled in space. But how long till again he divided his time between student and Captain and the normal civilian was lost again?
His espresso was sipped slowly, wanting to savor the flavor. It was thick from the whip cream and milk, it really was something worth savoring rather than gulping. Maybe he'd invest in an espresso machine for home. He only ever got the hot beverage when he was out, at home it was juice and water or flavored water. He didn't get caffeine when he was home. Though it might be healthy if he didn't get an espresso machine for home, who knows how much he'd drink then of the stuff.
"I'm hoping I can grasp on and keep a good hold on how to be a proper teenager, outside of being a student. But what happened with the new member?" He asked, setting his drink down and lifting the written on napkin up. Inspecting the number he pocketed it then, a back pocket. "Can I borrow that." Indicating the pen she'd brought out.
"Alright, I'll help then. I could use some training against senshi magic myself." Fights were fights and you couldn't ask to try things over again and for redo's so you could learn. There was simply no way to train with a senshi till now. With the opportunity it presented he'd grab it and train with them. "I still have a lot to learn myself, I'm noting brilliant like some of the other members. I'll warn you now."
