As soon as she'd heard the news, Haggy went looking for Gyps. She found her mate, usually vigilantly following her, and promptly pounced on him, filled with the energy and excitement of a cub. "Gyps Gyps GYYYPS!" As they tumbled through the undergrowth, the gold lioness was all giggles and laughter, until they came to a stop, the lioness sitting on top of the tawny male. "I got big news! And it's WONDERFUL news!" She stopped upon noticing his surprised expression, then started to giggle at it. Clearly, her usually calm and morose self, filled with lack of self-confidence, had evaporated, replaced by something else. Or maybe someone else who looked exactly like the real Hagryphus.

He'd been otherwise minding his business, taking a bit of time off, when he'd been more or less 'assaulted' by the lioness. As they tumbled, he felt multiple plants get caught in his snowy-white mane, some twigs even going so far as to get pulled back OUT of his mane. Paws tucked to his chest, he soon found himself staring up into exuberant red eyes. "You're not pregnant, are you? I mean.." He motioned with a paw. "I have to admit, I wouldn't mind the idea of cubs, but I'm not so sure we're READY right now, and we just GOT here... And what if they're not born under the right moon, and..." He went silent as a paw covered his mouth.

The lioness almost fell over with laughter. "No, silly! Though cubs WOULD be nice..." Her, a mother... It'd be so fitting! She then removed her paw from Gyps' mouth. "I found my purpose in the pride! And the queen likes it, too!" She jumped off, absolutely wiggling with excitement. The fact that she had been accepted was thrilling for her. There was no end to how happy she was, how excited. "You gotta guess again!" As she sat down, still bubbling with joy, her mind went again to the idea of cubs and motherhood. What would their cubs look like?

Gyps sat up, rubbing his back and grimacing. "Haggy... You're not a cub... You need to refrain from jumping on my back." He let out a low sigh, then looked at her. "So you found your purpose in the pride... Hm... They made a rank for seers?" He couldn't imagine one, though. It didn't seem there was a place, and given how many beliefs the pride had... That was a good thing. "No, that isn't it..." He scratched his throat, closing his eyes in thought. "Okay, how about a hint? What's it related to?" He held his paw out, pad facing up.

She stood up and curled around her mate, tail brushing under his chin. "Well, the idea of cubs wasn't far off..." She noticed the expression he was giving her. "I assure you, I'm not pregnant right now." She paused. "Given my new purpose in the pride, I'd wait to try and make sure they weren't slaves, and if my math's not off... Which I hope it's NOT... Then if we tried now, we'd end up with a litter of slaves." And she'd feel bad for them, especially any daughters. "No, it's RELATED to cubs!" And, technically, moon phases. And with a few pregnant lionesses floating around, she'd already have her work cut out for her.

He wrinkled his brow, thinking on talk within the pride. A purpose dealing with cubs... His ears both twitched, before opening his eyes to look at Hagryphus. "You're a Priestess now, aren't you?" He was rewarded by being knocked back to the ground, a gleeful Haggy pinning him to the ground. "I take that as a yes!" He then grinned, pushing her off. "I think a congratulations is order!" He sat up, pulling her close and giving her a noogie. This was easier on Haggy compared to, say, one of his sisters, who had a puff of mane on their heads. Haggy lacked that, so his knuckles easily rubbed on her skull through her fur and skin.

The gold lioness let out a peel of laughter, pushing the male off. "Gyps, stop! Stop!" Getting free, she tumbled into a bush, "OOF!" She reached up, claws grasping at the plant, before finding a tree to pull herself up, red eyes wide. As she recovered herself, she shook the leaves off, before going over and sitting by a laughing Gyps. "Oh, you think that's funny, do you?" She jumped on him, sending them again tumbling into the bushes. "I'll show YOU funny!" She reached out, grabbing various branches and twigs and sticking them in his white mane. "Hold still, you!" When she'd finished, she sat back, admiring her work.

Gyps could only let out a good-natured huff, glaring up at his mate. "You turned my mane into a bush..." He wasn't mad, not really. Though it'd be a fun challenge getting the sticks all out of his hair. He'd have to find something smaller to help him, like a rabbit or a bird. He pushed Haggy off, rising to his paws. "I think there's been enough fun and games tonight, though." After all... He WAS still a guard.

Haggy pouted, then started helping Gyps get the plants out of his mane. "Say, Gyps... What would YOU think of the idea of cubs...?" Given the prior topic... It seemed a logical question. "I mean, we ARE settled now, and both adults..." She'd run into him when she was just an adolescent, so shy and skittish out in the big wide world. He'd more or less protected her, and eventually they'd fallen in love. But they had decided not to try anything family-related while rogues. It wouldn't be good for any cubs that came into the world.

Gyps blinked, pulling a clump of branches from his mane, before looking at Gyps. There was some silence from him, before he siled at her. "I think we're ready now, Haggy... We're safe here, and there'd be plenty of other cubs for ours to play with." He reached up, pulling the lioness close and licking her cheek.

Haggy grinned, before licking his forhead. "Yay!" Then a twig got caught on her circlet, and she blinked, before reaching up and pulling plants out of his mane again. Celebration woul have to happen later... AFTER Gyps stopped sporting a green bush for a mane.
