~Oshu City~
Oshu City is the largest city in the prefecture; a sprawling metropolis and one of the larger cities in the country, it is often overshadowed in popularity by the vacation destination Iwadate located not far to the east on the beach. With many tall buildings, infighting amongst the inner city Yakuza, gangs, and other groups, it is known that many of the groups seek to establish their own dominance over the city in much the same violent manner that Masamune Date proclaimed his lordship over Oshu in the days of the Sengoku Era. Young children grow up on the legends and stories of the One-Eyed Dragon, the Date Clan's tales having stood the test of time, but this tendency towards violence and conquest has made the city one of the least pleasant in Northern Japan. Always envious of their neighbors to the east, schools between the two cities of Oshu and Iwadate have always been at one another's throats, with gangs and students from the former sometimes making stops over in the latter and causing trouble amongst the tourists. These occurrences are not too frequent, though, but they are often volatile.
Prominent groups in this city are the Amakusu Yakuza, the strongest of the city's well-known gangs, and the Oshu City High School athletics clubs, amongst the strongest in nearly every sport in the northern part of the country. Amongst the local legends are the 'Night Axe', a rumor about a young demon who prowls the night with a massive double-bladed axe slicing down Yakuza and other criminals...another is the legendary Sai Sakurazaka, known as the 'Cherry Blossom Killer' for his serene attitude, fierce eye, and tremendous rumored strength. In all the city, aside from the Amakusu, it is known that of all the trouble in the city, these are possibly the two people you never, ever want to piss off under any circumstances.

Suzume Kirihara "Suzu chan! Stop spacing out and come join us!"
Brown eyes immediately darted away from the train station and the people at the distance, returning back to the two other girls some steps away from her, waving their arms for her to see among the sea of people making their way through the streets. A bright smile curved at her lips as she ran towards them, squeezing her way through busy workers, or distracted students, before stopping, with a hop, in front of her friends. "Sorry! I got distracted!" the girl answered with a sheepish grin, as the trio began walking towards their destination...or whatever they had planned for today. Probably just a walk around, maybe go shopping...only to distract her enough so she could answer all their questions about yesterday. "You always are, Suzu chan..." the long haired girl replied with a teasing shake of her head and a roll of her eyes, only to have a pout as a reaction from the petite brunette. "Like how she forgot school yesterday?" the other one added in a sing-song tone, before the two turned to look at the one with the answers, waiting for some kind of explanation. "Wha? No! I didn't forget school! You guys are soo mean!" Suzu whined, even if the smile never really faded from her face. It was just a good teasing fun... and the girl knew they didn't mean any harm. They had been friends for a while, mostly seeing each other during Track practice, and it wasn't until today, when her phone rang that morning (waking her up way earlier than she had intended to, having spent so much energy the night before), that they decided to do something out of school. And the girls not having seen her during practice the day before, well... it was also an excuse to get all the juicy details. ...Not that they had been expecting any, since, well...Suzume was as airheaded as anyone could get, except for the tiny rumor going around of her getting on the train to the resort town early in morning along with with others. “I’ve heard she went to Iwadate with Sakurazaka kun…” “The Cherry Blossom Killer?! You don’t say…”
The brunette frowned, uncomfortable with the way he was being referred to, how it seemed like he was some kind of unapproachable thug! “Hey, Sai isn’t-“ But she was interrupted before she could give out her reasons or any explanation of what really had happened the day before, the dark haired girl’s smirk growing,“Ne…I’ve heard you two spend an awful lot of time together…” The tallest girl continued, turning her gaze back to the smaller brunette, almost as if analyzing her every movement, “Is it true…” her voice lowered to a whisper, making Suzu to lean closer, unable to listen over the city noises, “… that you two are going out?”
“…” Silence. “G-going out?” Nervous giggles escaped her lips before she could stop herself, giving a shove to the one teasing her. “What are you talking about, Mari chan!” The brunette pouted, walking a few steps ahead of the other two as a strange heat invaded her whole face, finding the need to hide it from them…even if she didn’t really know why. Going out…really. It was true she followed Sai around a lot and that the day before she had had the most fun with him…She had even told him he was special…or had she? Ah! She always said so many weird things when she was drowsy…Hopefully, she had said nothing too strange. And hopefully, she hadn’t caused him so much trouble when he left her near her house last night...(really, he could have waken her up…or maybe he had tried…and she just…hadn’t…listened…), and… She was getting out of topic again. The thing was…that Said didn’t care about such things. So no…they weren’t going out. Even if she…No, no no. The girl shook her head vigorously, brushing thoughts aside. It made her wonder though… Slender fingers ghosted over her lips for a moment, brown eyes lowering slightly. Kosuke, with his weird philosophical thinking, would help her right now… … … Hey! Why not go with Kosuke and ask for help? And in a beat, the girl was already dashing the opposite direction they had come, startling the other two girls with her sudden, rash actions. “S-Suzu chan! Hey! Where are you going?!”
“Sorry Mari chan! Kana chan! I remembered I needed to go somewhere!”
“Sheesh… She didn’t even give us a straight answer…”
The girl ran, knowing exactly where to find the fisherman. Or at least...where she expected him to be. He...he tended to the Shrine, right? S-so it was only natural for him to be there, right? Right? Oh...she hoped it was true, because...she wasn't running like a madgirl to find he had gone fishing or...something! She will even miss the ice cream Kana chan promised if she tagged along with them! But...but this was more important. Or at least, in her rushing mind, it was in that instant, that was. Luckily, they hadn't been too far away from the Shrine in that moment. And that she actually knew where she was in that instant! It would be quite a bother if she were to get lost right now! The shrine stood out, different from all the tall, gray buildings surrounding it, and even if it was pretty... she had to admit that yesterday's Shrine was ten, no, a hundred times more beautiful! But well...she wouldn't say that in front of the sage, because that would be rude. Without stopping to catch her breath, the girl climbed the stairs up to the Shrine, only slowing down once she was closer to the offertory box. "Koooooosuke! Please be here... Please please be here!"

I S H I D A It was an average day, filled with the average chores to do on such a day; after all there was no school to attend. Oh how the young man missed the days of visiting Iwadate, how close he was from experiencing the true enlightenment of Nirvana; even if the path was filled with glorious women in their bathing suits and the fresh breezes of the sea and the glorious women in their bathing suits! Sadly all of that had to come to an end sometime today, as Kosuke and the others were called back to the humble city of Oshu. Don’t get him wrong, he lived his city, but he didn’t love his duties at the shrine. It is true that he was a monk, and as a monk he seeks the truth of the world and helping others to the enlightened path, but honestly how would cleaning up the shrine do him any good?! He could be out doing more important things, such as fishing, and getting his chance at sneaking right into the hot springs…for research of course. His grandpa didn’t seem to quite like the idea of him wondering about with his lecherous ways, and decided to put him to hard work. He could have at least allowed him to keep his hat on, but no, Kosuke’s grandpa was very strict about the duties of the shrine. Kosuke had to wear his robes while he cleaned and his hair was tied up in a ponytail, but still that didn’t stop his hair from covering his eyes. "My, My~" he sighed nonchalantly, despite the burdens of sweeping dust Kosuke still manage to put on a smile, " I wonder if there will be any excitement today." He could only pray to the heavenly Buddha that he would give him something to by his time, maybe a beautiful girl, or a smokin’ hot goddess to cure of his….desires. As time went by Kosuke was still greeted with nothing, maybe Buddha had other plans for him rather than a hot lady; the pervy sage just had to wonder what it was. It didn’t take long for his ears to pick up a voice coming in close, a sweet and tender voice, someone that he could never forget. Looking onwards, Kosuke’s smile could only brighten after realizing that it was Suzu had stop by at the shrine. "Well, well, well Suzu-chan~" His voice couldn’t sound any happier than to see his friend coming to see him, although he would have wished that it was a smoking hot mama instead; Suzu just was too innocent for Kosuke to take interest in. "What brings you here today child?"

Suzume Kirihara “Kosuke!” There was cheerfulness and relief mixed in the girl’s tone, seeing the monk/fisherman coming her way after a moment of wait. He looked different than any other day; his hair ‘neatly’ …or well, not exactly neat but neater than usual…tied up in a pony tail, his clothes matching the others working inside the shrine, and his [removed](or at least what she could see of it) looked bored, though, she couldn’t say that her presence there was bothering him…yet, at least. “Goood morning! You are not that busy, are you?” Yes, she had rushed all the way here without even stopping to think that perhaps he had work of some kind and that he could be scold for not doing said work. “Because if you are, I can wait and come back some other time!” the girl added with a bright smile, knowing that to some, Sundays weren’t exactly free days, and that perhaps he couldn’t really spare her some time. Not that she would be mad or anything…she could…always go to the park and look around the city! Yes! That could be her plan for today! The park was a nice place! And no one knew all the different people they could meet there! But once again, the girl was getting ahead of herself, almost missing the question Kosuke was asking her. “Ah? What brings me here?” Her smile kept beaming, but no words came out for a short moment, almost as if the girl was actually thinking of what she had come here to do. All the way here…she hadn’t really formulated questions she could ask the pervy monk, no real thoughts of what she really wanted to know. She had just moved on instinct, the thought of wanting to get answers fresh on her mind…but, what about the questions? What answers was she looking for really? And the blankness was clear on her face. “W-well…” she chuckled sheepishly as she rocked on her heels back and forth, “I wanted to ask you something but…” Eyes trailed off, looking around the small shrine, anything that could give her any clue of how to go about with this…only to get distracted by some of the things there…like the Fortunes Booth, and other colorful things around. "Oh! Do you think I could get my fortune here?"

~Sai Sakurazaka, the Sakurazukamori~
(Location: Downtown Oshu City - Entertainment District) It was hard to forget the night before. It wasn't that he was tormented or that he couldn't stop thinking about what had happened out on that pier beneath the fireworks, the loose board he had destroyed for its insolence, the weight of a slight body that he had helped to its feet, or the sudden and thoughtless (or perhaps thoughtful) pressing of lips against lips, the taste of copper that meant life inside of them...a life most precious to him, even more than he valued his own. No, he wasn't tormented. Still, there was that niggling little voice in the back of his mind whispering pointed questions, traitorous thoughts that made him wonder for but a moment here and there about things he had no right to be thinking about. Like that little jolt of electricity he felt when he tasted her life, her lips upon his own, or the unspoken question of 'why' he had reacted in such a fashion, why he hadn't simply wiped away the blood and dabbed at it with a cloth. Why had he been compelled to treat her so specifically, so personally, as he had taken up such a gesture as could so easily be mistaken for something intimate, a show of affection? He had acted on instinct and a feeling that this was what he should do in that moment to stop the bleeding and express his own self, was the answer that he knew, so why was his instinct so much like that? Protecting Suzume was one thing. Burdening her with his own clumsy feelings and the full weight of his dark history was something else entirely...let alone accepting that he had feelings of such a specific nature, that they were intense and honest enough that he felt compelled to act upon them. How could he ever look at his scarred face inside of a mirror and expect that somebody as bright and beautiful as Suzume Kirihara should ever be lowered to dance with a devil like Sai Sakurazaka? It wasn't a self-loathing that filled him, because he did not regret his life, the choices that he had been forced to and continued to make, but rather, a recognition that for what he was, what he had once been, Suzume was a beacon of light from a different world that he had never even known before her. She deserved bright things, a happy future, and someone who wasn't so damned emotionally stunted that he couldn't give the proper voice or even identify the things that they felt inside of them. And besides that, with his power...with his name...was there anybody out there who would even want him? Let alone...
"Sai...SAI! ...Are you listening to me?" an elderly man's voice came from behind him, deep and gravelly, stern but kindly eyes watching him from the other side of a counter. The scarred younger man turned from the sink and counter, his rolled up black sleeves giving way to pale hands gripping a damp cloth that had just finished wiping down a sparkling countertop in the back of the old man's shop, what looked like some sort of a manga cafe that was heavy on the 'cafe' portion. He appraised the old man coolly, no particular distaste in his expression, and the old man watched him for a moment impassively, sternly, before letting out a sigh and rubbing his forehead, the rough-looking shop owner having a moment away from his customers to share a word with his temporary help. "Jeez...this isn't like you. But I know if I ask what's on your mind you'll only tell me that it's not my problem. So I won't ask, but I gotta say it looks heavy," the old man observed, earning a sideways glance from Sai towards a couple sitting at a table together beyond him...though the old man didn't notice the focus of his crimson gaze, "Anyway, you're done here, aren't you? The kitchen those punk Yakuza smashed up last week looks fantastic...so you don't have to sit back here and clean the place too. Leave that to me. I ain't helpless yet, you know." Heavy, huh? Did he really look so much more grim than usual that the man thought it was heavy? He didn't speak, so with a sigh the old man stepped around the counter into the back of the shop with Sai and reached into his pocket, pulling out a wad of cash that he counted out a hefty portion of to place into Sai's hand. Taking the money, Sai nodded in a casual gratitude. The hard day of work had yielded quite a payment, and he was content not to argue with the shop owner's offer to take his leave. He had done enough this morning...and there were other places he wanted to visit before the day was out. The shrine was amongst them...if only to make sure that perverted sage made it back alive from his peeping yesterday. And then he would check up on Suzume...his mind began to drift again as he turned to make his way out the back door, only to be stopped by the deep voice of the old shop owner one more time. Glancing back, he had but a second to react and snag the bag of candies that had been tossed in his direction. He didn't even get a chance to ask why before his unspoken question was answered. "It's not pudding, but that girl you hang out with...she likes those. Trust me," he advised, earning a small 'Hmph' from the scarred young man, "and be careful out there. The Amakusu are more riled up than usual lately. I don't know what's got them so worried...but watch your back."
Nodding once, Sai knew that the old man wasn't the type who blew smoke. He was a rugged guy, ex-military, and he had fought off quite a few of the Yakuza before they had wrecked his kitchen. He kept his ear to the ground, though, and he had connections that let him know what was going on in the underworld to some small degree. He was a good person, all things considered...so it was wise to take what he said to heart. And storing the words away, he stepped out of the shop and out into the streets of Oshu which he knew like the back of his hands. He examined the candies in his hand carefully, as though trying to pick out every flavor inside of the bag and which of them Suzume would like the most. ...He wasn't sure why he thought about that first, but she was always on his mind these days. And the Amakusu were moving restlessly, too, were they? His mind flashed back to that image on the train, the guy who had threatened to inform on him to the Amakusu, to put...her in danger. And then his mind flashed to last night on the train, the quiet mumbling about pudding and other nice things, the tiny little drool stain on his shoulder, the utter and unconditional trust that Suzume had placed in him...enough to sleep right against him. ...Yeah, she was important.
...But somehow he couldn't help but feel that whatever happened, things were going to get messier before they got better.

I S H I D A Oh how Suzu always astounded the young monk, she was just a little bubble of joy. He couldn’t remember the time he met a person so lively, energetic, and well naïve, but that was the price to pay for being so pure. Yes that was a good word for it, pure, above anything else Suzu could be described as a pure innocent girl. That and her looks made her a very adorable woman to be around, but still Kosuke could not bring himself to act as he always did around her; it was quite odd. "And a Good morning to you too," he greeted with a smile as always. He acted more reserved around Suzu, more refined than hi lecherous self, quite different for Kosuke, but it can be done; He had his reasons. He couldn’t help but to think how Fate was strange, as he wanted some entertainment in a hot beautiful woman, instead he would receive the cheerful present of Suzu. "Of course not child, I’m always free for you Suzu-chan. Now what seems to be the matter?" Never had Suzu seem to be asking him for anything before, usually it’s the two talking about their days and such. What was going on in her mind? Kosuke couldn’t help, but to wonder about it; this made him curious indeed. His head tilted to the side, awaiting his dear friend to ask the question that seem to be troubling, but to no one’s surprise she forgot; Kosuke could only chuckle at the absent minded Suzu. "Oh Suzu-chan, you should try and remember if it is important" he went in to tap her on the nose, "Now, how would I be able to help you if it was boy trouble?~" He teased gently and then proceeded to rub her head, as a brother would to a sister.

Suzume Kirihara Fortunes, fortunes. It wasn’t that her life revolved around them, and that she completely believed everything they told, but…it was always interesting reading what they had to say. If it came ‘Best luck’ then she would do everything she could to enjoy her lucky day the most she could, along with friends and family; if it was “Worst Luck”, then she would do…anything possible to enjoy her day the most she could! So yeah, the girl wasn’t really affected, but still…it had become a habit, reading those little papers telling her that her love was near, or that candies would come raining down on her somehow, or even that it was best if she stayed home for the day to avoid any problems…She would always read them, and then shove them inside a pocket or lose them during one of her distracting moments. Though, she still kept the little, neatly fold paper she had gotten the day before on the Tsukuyomi Shrine…Perhaps because it was one of the few ‘Best Luck’ she had…or maybe because she liked what it said...or maybe because… “Huh?” She stopped midstep on her way to the Fortune’s Booth, turning around to gaze at Kosuke, his voice once again snapping her from her trail of thought, and bringing her back to the initial matter, the one that had brought her here. And that was when he tapped her nose, making the girl to flinch back slightly, before rubbing her nose with a pout. “It isn’t that I forgot! It’s just that I didn’t really think of what I wanted to ask! Like…there are so many thoughts swirling and swirling inside of my mind! And I can’t take them all and squeeze them together into a question! Y-you know?” she talked with exaggerated hand gestures, arms falling and raising quickly to emphasize her problem. They stopped altogether though, when the pervy sage spoke up again, making her furrow her eyebrows in thought, tapping her chin slightly.
She blinked, tilting her head slightly to the side, considering his words. “Boy trouble?” the brunette repeated, thinking over and matching them with what her thoughts were, only for her to shake her head quickly, short hair swinging along in every which way. “No, no! It’s not… any trouble! It’s just that-Heeey!” she freed herself from the attack to her hair, sticking out her tongue at him before puffing down the short, rebel locks back into place. She couldn't really call it a trouble, because... she wasn't bothered with what had happened the day before...if anything it had been nice; it still confused her to no end, but...the warmth that nested inside of her chest when fingers tangled together, or how that electric sting shook her whole, or how nice it felt being carried by him or... “It’s just that…” she tried again, her voice lowering just a bit, her gaze once again looking for any help to her unspoken doubts. “It’s just that… that… Hey, kissing someone’s wounds better isn’t that strange, right? Like... does it mean anything else other than...well...making one's wounds better?” Random question coming from a random girl…but perhaps she was getting closer to what she really wanted to ask…or maybe not. Maybe all she needed was a small push…or getting all the answers coaxed from her.

Denmark"What are you asking Suzume?" Denmark asked, a hand shooting downward to grip Kosuke's shoulder suddenly and turn the fisherman around. Before the bucket hat wearing perv could look him in the eyes, his forehead was suddenly met with a slightly broader forehead from on high, likely causing him to reel for a minute from the headbutt. While Kosuke was coming around from the 'friendly greeting' however, Suzume would have the chance to see the spiky blond haired man, and the wicked happy grin he was wearing. Sure he had a bit of a fierce look by nature, but whenever Sai or Suzu were around a smile came to Denmark's face that very few people saw...and that even fewer wanted to see, since most saw him carrying a much more iconic item that gave him the looks of a, how do you say, 'Axe Crazy Murderer'? But those who stuck around longer than a glance knew that he was a good, if not slightly energetic friend, and Suzume happened to be lucky enough to know the one person in the world who had Denmark's respect and connection as a partner. The pervy sage on the other hand, was nearly on the bottom of the list, with no redeemable qualities that Denmark could see. "I thought Sai said not to hang around with this pervert when no one else is around." Denmark said, picking Kosuke up by the back of his collar and looking him in the eyes quizzically, as if he were examining some unknown species. He was just playing around of course, but sometimes it was fun to see Suzu take him too seriously when Denmark put on one of his more skeptical faces, so giving Kosuke a sharp glare might be enough to cause the girl to move into the fisherman's defense for a bit. On the bright side Sai wasn't around, because if he knew Denmark was going to tease Suzu for a bit he'd probably never escape with his head.

I S H I D A He could only imagine what had happen to her to cause her to ask this question to him. Oh how his mind loved to wonder off on that thought, imagining the male to be Sai; as they all knew that he would be at Suzu’s side as always. So, it would seem that she had the pleasure of receiving a little “feel better kiss;” it was hard to believe that Sai would do something like that, but then again Kosuke figured that Sai wasn’t a man without feelings. A sense of joy was beating in his heart on the news, it was too soon in the making, but his mind wondered more. Why would Sai go out of his own way to do something like that to Suzu? Out of affection? Love? Concern? Oh how the possibilities came into his head, and yet he would not have the answer to them. The thought alone would make the monk smile with glee; the great Cherry Blossom Killer in love, what a romantic tale. Before he could answer though he was greeted with the occasional bump to the head by the bodyguard Denmark, "Oh my," was his response to that rough greeting. Already things seemed to be going hostile for Kosuke, as he was grabbed by the collar and was treated with such violence and disdained. Would someone be angered by this? Yes. Would someone be frightened by this? Also yes. For Kosuke though, he kept smiling and had a relaxing feel about him, treating this situation as if it wasn’t for worse or for better. " And a good morning to you DenDen-chan," He would say without a care in the world, showing nothing but open arms, "Oh now you hurt me DenDen-chan. I’m only a simple monk, preforming his duties. And besides Suzu is a human being, she can do as she wishes; also as you may know, this is a holy place. I would prefer if we didn’t try to rough house. I already cleaned up the place you know." His words held no animosity, no resentment or fear. His voice was kept at a calm level, but the tone still had the joyful sense within them. Was there truly anything to keep Kosuke down?

Suzume Kirihara The girl smiled, her big brown eyes gazing expectantly at Kosuke, waiting for his answer to her questions, unable to stop herself from tilting her head quizzically as his smirk grew and his gaze twinkled with mirth and his thoughts wander to unknown places. What did he figure out? Did he...did he know? Could he read minds?! Could he know what she was thinking? Oh no! What would she do now? "Kosuke, what are you thinking? You are scaring m-" Though, in that moment, before she couldn't wonder more about what Kosuke could be imagining, another voice joined them, making her to turn around, looking for the owner of the voice. A wide smile brightened her face at the sight of the blond figure, dismissing the nervousness that invaded her at the thought of someone listening to the conversation in an instant, along with the rough greeting given to the fisherman as something he would always do. He had said it was a greeting, so... it wasn't that bad, right? A little painful, perhaps, but...well, it was Denmark. "Denmark! Hiii!" Her beaming expression faltered just then, when he mentioned not meeting with the monk alone...something that, just like he said, Said didn't like. "B-but Deeeeenmark!" the brunette pouted, fidgeting nervously, "He has done nothing wrong! And I just taaalking with him. I was with some friends earlier today, and then I remembered I needed to ask Kosuke something! So, so, here I am! Don't hurt him, pleaaase?" She smiled sheepishly, clapping her hands together in front of her in a cute pleading, before turning back to the monk being held by the collar, chuckles escaping her at the cute nickname. "A-ah! Um... Hey! Have you seen Sai today?" Turning the topic of conversation to something different before he could do something to Kosuke for adding silly nicknames to his name...Hopefully it'd work!

Denmark"I thought I told you not to call me by that name." Denmark said as he glared into Kosuke's eyes for a few more seconds, like he was telling him without words 'Hmph, should I let you go this time...?', but quickly let go of the shrine's glorified cleaning boy when Suzume started poking at him to let him down. He couldn't very clearly explain that he would never hurt somebody while Suzu was around, because if he did Sai would have his head on a pike, but it didn't matter too much since he wasn't going to be wringing the pervy fish sage's neck anyways. "I heard about some work that Sai might be interested in, so he's probably taking care of that right now. You should know better than me that he'll come find you as soon as he's done though, right Suzume?" Denmark said, not mentioning that the work he'd heard of involved a group of people likely roughing up a shop owner across town. Sai could handle a few thugs no problem, but as previously mentioned, all talks about putting a beating on rats like that were out of the question when Suzu was around. Besides, if he was there he might not be able to come meet Suzu for a while, so talking about how busy he was would only dampen the mood a bit. "What could you have to ask this guy anyways? No matter how you look at him, he's no good. I bet you were having funny thoughts before I interrupted, am I right Pervy Sage?" Denmark asked, referring of course to the reason he'd got such a ridiculous nickname. The fact that he was a pervert was known the city over, and here he was all alone in a dark shrine with the most innocent girl in all of Japan. If he was trying to shake his reputation, he was definitely going about it all wrong.

I S H I D A Despite the glare he was getting Kosuke continued to show him his gentle easy going smile, could never really get the man in a foul mood. Though dealing with Denmark it would be more of a challenge to get on his good side, he would hope that they wouldn’t have to end things in a conflict. There was no need for that, they were in a shrine, a place meant for peace and love, and Suzu was here too which meant automatically made this place a safe zone. Denmark finally let him go thanks to Suzu’s kind nature; again this girl does nothing, but astound Kosuke with her essence. The monk let the two have their little chatter, not wanting to be a third wheel in a conversation, he would continue his duties sweeping away the dust on the floor; had to be spotless by the time his grandpa comes back around to check on him. It was as he was finally getting back into his work did Denmark came with that little remark. Was Kosuke really no good? The thought crossed his mind, and yet he disregarded it with a wide and gentle smile. " People deal too much with the negative, with what is wrong. Why not try and see positive things, to just touch those things and make them bloom?," His response was a quotation from famous monk. Kosuke tend to make random sayings, indirect ways to get his point across; he provided no clues or more blunt ways to have people understand what he was saying, as it was all open interpretation. The monke would like to believe that he understood the concept of these words; which only brighten the smile he was making, " Like a certain Cherry Blossom"

Suzume Kirihara Suzume giggled cheerily, listening to the blond's answer, nodding in understanding. "He's working then? Hmmmm, I seee ~" she rocked on her heels playfully, stopping only to smile brightly at him. "But you are right Denmark!" Though well...it was likely her who would go look for Sai first, always following him around wherever he went. And well... if someone were to ask 'why', she would just shrug her shoulders and say she had no reason...she just liked to do it, she liked his company, and there was nothing more to it. "I will wait until he's done, then! And-" the girl paused, her smile freezing on her lips just then, as Denmark asked about the questions she had for Kosuke. The brunette lowered her eyes, tapping her chin with a finger, pacing a little bit nervously a few steps. "What I needed to ask? Well, I was just asking him some stuffs about wounds and how to get them better! And...and..." the petite girl continued, clearly flustered, her hands clutching and twisting the strap of her bag in an attempt to keep herself calm and unsuspicious (and failing horribly). She turned to Kosuke, only to tilt her head in slight confusion with his proverb or quotation. She smiled though, nodding over the words. "That is right! We must think positive! And...make... them... bloom?" Alright, perhaps she didn't quite understand what he wanted to say, but...she at least had the idea, right? And nope, she did not pick up that small tease going her way. "...Like cherry blossoms. Hmm... Though, Kosuke! Cherry blossoms only bloom on a very special and specific time of the year. Not whenever they want..."
The girl's continuous bag strap-twisting triggered something inside of her mind just then, making her to perk up , remembering about the shells she had looked up for the day before. "Oh! Oh! I got you two a present yesterday!" Suzu exclaimed as she lowered, placing the bag on the ground and dug inside of it, random papers, pens, and other random trash flying out as she searched for what she needed. Finally two seashells appeared on her hands, as the girl hopped back to her feet and skipped over to each, dropping it on their hands. "I got them yesterday at the beach. Sai and I went shell hunting! . . . Well, only me, but that's not important! I thought you might like them!"

Denmark"Hey, what did I say about giving Suzu funny ideas! Maybe you want to be sleeping with the fishes, eh?" Denmark said, glaring at Kosuke with a look that could definitely kill, even if most people didn't think that was possible. "I think that you could use some new shoes to help you on that trip. Why don't you and I go-" Denmark was cut off though when Suzu started to follow the line of thought that the bucket hat had started, and the spiky headed blond almost had to resist facepalming as she started to consider what Ishida's said. "Suzume, don't listen to this guy, alright? You can't take what he says seriously, or else you might end up giving Sai a heart attack." Although Denmark didn't wish anything but the best for the one-eyed badass and his airheaded sweet heart, that didn't mean that he cheered on Kosuke's approach to the situation at all, and if he let the so called 'sage' have his way the two of them would be off on a honeymoon soon enough with a list of things to try doing that did not need to be given to teenagers! Cracking Kosuke's skull would have to wait until later though, since Suzu had something she wanted to offer; and as out popped a couple of gifts, courtesy of 'Sai and Suzu looking for seashells', he had a guess at just where she had been when the cherry blossom killer had finally tracked down the spirited girl yesterday. "Uh, thanks. I'll just put this with my other one..." Denmark said, stuffing the shell into his coat pocket in an instant. 'A seashell? Man, getting caught with this would ruin my image in an instant! There's no way I'm keeping this. Looks like another lame gift for storage.' Denmark thought with a sigh, missing the grip of his axe about now. He was, in layman's terms, a badass. He couldn't be caught carrying around trinkets when he was known for knocking heads. "More importantly Suzu, something like this means you guys went to Iwadate again, doesn't it? I wish I could have come along. There are so many smug punks down there who'd like to cause trouble for a cute girl like you or a rough looking guy like Sai. You two should be more careful." Denmark said, thinking back on some of their past problems. It wouldn't help things if he told Suzu why he was nervous, but any trip like that could be an opportunity for someone to attack Sai, and the two had been caught in some tough situations together in the past. Saying he'd gotten his axe wet with blood a few times was an understatement, so warning the lovebirds to be cautious was the least he could do while worrying about them on his own end.

Suzume Kirihara "Giving Sai a heart attack?" The girl asked, completely confused by the blond's use of words...thinking back on what she had said, and how that would be heart attack inducing. She wouldn't like that... The sole idea terrified her. And it showed on her face. "But... don't be silly Denmark! That couldn't possibly cause anybody a heart attack!" the girl laughed sheepishly, her mind still considering the idea...and deciding it was best not to risk it. Even if she saw nothing wrong with Kosuke's proverb, also noting the fact that she hadn't quite understand what he had meant, the brunette wouldn't want to upset Sai in any way. Shaking her head, the girl brushed away any thoughts, the bright grin returned to her lips as she handed the small gifts, rocking on her heels as she waited for reactions. And...of course, she didn't notice how such a thing would be an inconvenience to someone like Denmark. To her... a seashell was a fine souvenir that anybody would like. Yeeeep. No exceptions. So when the axe wielding blond quickly put the shell away with a sigh, Suzu smiled, pleased. "You have others?! Do you collect them, Denmark?" she asked excitedly, imagining a shelf full of all different kinds of seashells inside of his room, her thoughts poofing away only when his voice turned to other matters, making her to return her attention back to what he was saying. "Yup! We were in Iwadate aaaaall day yesterday! It was pretty fun! You should join us next time!" she beamed, already being sidetracked instead of paying attention to the warning given to her just then. "Smug punks...But we didn't have any trouble yesterday! And I didn't see any...smug punks! But alright. I'll be careful~" she concluded with a nod, picking up her bag and strapping it around her once again. "I'll keep my eyes open!" Not that...it meant much. To Suzu, no one was suspicious until proven wrong. But anyway! 8D
"Well! I have to go! I need to apologize to some friends! I left them alone and ran all the way here without saying anything to them," the girl explained with sheepish giggles; only then, when everything was solved (or well, mostly, since she hadn't gotten any answers to her original question), did the girl remember how she run off away from her friends in a haste before. Maybe she could call them...meet up with them once again. Or maybe she could meet up with Sai on her way! That would be cool. Yep. "So! Good bye Denmark, Kosuke! See you around!" the brunette grinned, waving at the two before running off...down the stairs. Hopefully without any accidents!
