The thing that really appeals to me about the Silur-- the Rept-- about these guys who featured in such Dr. Who serials as:
The Silurians The Sea Devils Warriors of the Deep and The Hungry Earth / Cold Blood
is that while so many Doctor Who opponants get lumped into all-the-same expendability (Daleks, Cybermen, Sontarans, etc.); episodes facing this opponant tend to be excellent at remembering that they are all individuals, we tend to see, among them as well as among humans, both the aggressive and the peaceful, those seeking peaceful solutions and those seeking violent solutions.
Remembering that it's not so much "us versus them" is so quintessentially Dr. Who.

I thought bringing the Sirulians back for the new series was great! It showed that some of the memorable aliens from past Doctor Who seasons can still live on. It just makes me wonder who they may bring out next from the Old Who... *thinks*

Ice Warriors? Of course they were always pretty bleh.
I'll admit to a bit of curiosity about the Doctor's future history with Morgaine. Or was that covered somewhere in the novelizations?
