There was a very long stack trail of papers on the ground. While this was not uncommon when it came to Amityville, and students' general habits towards cleanliness and locker treatment, what was rather unusual were that they all seemed to be the same pieces of copied paper, and even more unusual the very long, arduous, and somewhat neat pile they made as they trailed all the way from the beginning of the hallway to what seemed like beyond the stairs.
If a student bothered picking one up, they would only notice that the paper had the word "CONTRACT" written in bold red, and not much of anything else, well unless you discounted the area where there was supposed to be room for a signature. Perhaps. OOC This is an ORP. Anyone is free to join... and possibly win a special mini OWO

There were papers everythere. Tomoko pursed her lips slightly when she'd found that they went on forever, finally picking one up to look at it cautiously. Was this one of those 'attempts to steal your kidneys' things that people did that her mother had warned her about? Tomoko had taken special care to keep her kidneys safe from such threat, bust still... the thread just seemed to be... ...
Rampant.
She looked at it, wrapping it up into a neat little tube before walking down the hall to investigate further.
"Hello? Did someone drop their stack of paper? Do you need help? Anybody?"

Oh, look. A piece of paper. Junko picked it up. Oh, look. A piece of paper. Junko picked it up. Oh, look. A piece of paper. Junko picked it up. Oh, look. A piece of paper. Junko picked it up. Oh, look. A piece of paper. Junko picked it up. Oh, look. A piece of paper. Junko picked it up.
This carried on for about ten minutes until the ghoul, with a small stack of papers in her arms, finally noticed what was on said papers. Contract? Well then! What was this for? Certainly it must have been important..but if it was important why would someone just dump them on the ground?
She was walking along trying to pick up more when she spotted Tomoko nearby, smiling brightly and grinning. "Hello, Tomo-chaaaaaan~! Uh..the papers? I dunno...I don't...see anyone around scrambling to pick them up..." Did they fall from the sky, perhaps?

Wren did not know why she was in this particular hallway, but she felt her curiousity peaked as a trail of... papers? Seemed to flow out on the floor. They were all heading in the same direction oddly enough, was it a trail?
Picking up a single piece of the paper, she read the word 'Contract' and quirked an eyebrow at it. "Contract? What contra-"
"Hello" Was all she heard really from Tomo, her voice close by. Talking a involuntary step back she felt her mouth turn dry, staring down at the paper more intently. Did this...paper just talk to her? "H-hello?" She said just as loud as Tomo had... following the papers around a little more. Careful NOT to stpe on them, what if these things were alive?

Floating her way through the halls Pepin had been spending most of her day training her 404Saurus that she kept on a long leash practically dragging the thing off the ground every now and then. If she were to ever handle a digital aquarium that couldn't possibly kill its contents she WOULD manage to kill them. What a doll.
It was near the hall that she'd caught her video footage before that the glitch started to notice a river of disregarded papers. The 404Saurus grabbed one in its distorted teeth and started to tear and shake it.
While any good owner would tell it to stop Pepin simply let it continue and reached for one herself to read. "Contract? OoooooooooohhoOOoohhhh... INTERESTING," she beamed wildly.
Hearing another ghoul's voice she followed it to where Tomoko was and cocked her head to the side. "HI ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A CONTRACT I HAVE ONE RIGHT HERE-" Pepin said handing the tall ghoul a paper while the minipet on the ground dangled temporarily until Pepin lowered her hover to let it walk.
Upon the appearance of Junko though Pepin couldn't help but let out a shrill of excitement. "JUNKOOOOOOO!
LOOK
AT MY NEW MINIPET," she gasped and this time picked him up. The two flickered and distorted in unison.

Junko heard another voice and looked to see who it was, not recognizing it in the slightest. Huh! She was pre...tty...
....Junko stared directly at her chest, a faint blush dusting her cheeks. She suddenly felt very..inadequate.
Pepin's shrill voice helped, turning to see the glitch ghost squealing and cheering and calling her name. Minipet? Where? She loved minipets! "You got a new minipet? Oh how delight...ful?" She blinked. "I've never seen a minipet like that before." Junko leaned in to peer closely at the strange green pet. It was all glitchy! Just like Pepin!
"It's perfect for you! Congratulations!" Junko paused a moment to look down at the papers. Contract, huh? Pepin had been asking if anyone wanted one... "Oh, Pepin. Are these yours?"

By now it was well known fact that Junko attracted ghosts, so was it any surprise a certain jikininki wandered around the corner in time to see Pepin cooing at his ghoulfriend while holding up a flickering pet for inspection? Nope.
The papers were a lot more unusual, and one dark brow rose curiously as he stared at the continuing trail of nearly blank paper that disappeared around the opposite corner. They were a little neat to be considered an accident.
Spotting the stake in Junko's arms, the boil's head tilted minutely to one side. "Junko, what are you doing?" Of course it would be his first assumption that the ghoul was laying them out, not picking them up. It wouldn't have been the strangest thing she'd done that week, or hell, that day. Lips pursed thoughtfully after a second or two. His ghoulfriend was special.
The other ghouls were all given a wave of dark fingers and s smile. "Hey Momo and Pip. What are you all up to?"

RGGRAHHWRRG GG- GG- GG- GG-
In perfect unison as the 404 writhed in Pepin's hands the ghoul cackled delightfully and froze in tune with the other. "It's the best when I hold it because it starts to FREAK OUT and its just too funny!!" she giggled again and finally set the suffering creature down.
"Nah nah they're not mine, they're not Paranormal Posts' either. We don't just toss our paper all over the floor. See clearly the one who did this has no eloquence for scattering paper. Watch."
Pepin landed on the floor and on her hands and knees started to scatter the paper out even further though in the same disorganized mess as before. "See that's how you are supposed to do it. Silly people and their papers."
Glancing up the ghost caught sight of Wren and sneered wickedly. A gorgeous new student? Hells to the yes. Even Seiji arriving could not break her fawning over the black and white ghoul.

Being the new girl on the block meant many things, one thing was... she had Noooooo idea who the hell all these trange voices were. When she wheeled around the bend, and caught sight of the group of strangers... she felt her face turn a shade darker.
There were somanypeople oh god.
Pretty much she stood there, looking rather deer-in-headlights ish until she shook her head and removed the instantaneous fear that came from being suddenly in a herd of people she did not know. She had to fight hard too, the want to flee heavy in her limbs.. it took more than a moment to relax She needed to get to know others... right?
She heard Junkos voice next, it was the same voice that said the hello...phew so it wasnt the paper. All the same, the peryton kept it clutched in her arms. Soon the paper was wrinkled up as her glowing eyes flicked over to Pepin. ....Why was she staring like that? So that involuntary step back she was forcing herself not to do before now? Oh yeah, she did it.
The shadow casted off the peryton just sneered and laughed silently.

The little glitchy dinosaur looked very angry. Junko was entranced, watching it freak out and glitch all over the place as Pepin explained how. "It is kinda funny." Junko giggled. "So they're not yours? Weird...it's not a student council thing either. I wonder what this is all about." Maybe a demon had dropped them? They made contracts, didn't they?
Junko looked up when she heard Seiji, shrugging at his question. "Picking up the papers. They're littering all over the ground..." Did..did he think she was dropping these?
...There was an eloquence to scattering papers? Junko blinked and looked down to watch Pepin mess with the papers. Well then. "Wow! Uh...I see! I'll keep that in mind, Pepin." Junko told her, smiling. Heh. Oh, that Pepin. This angle allowed her to see the laughing shadow, however, and she looked up at the new girl. She wasn't laughing...but...her shadow was?
"Oh! Um..hello! It's very nice to meet you, miss. My name's Junko!" So pretty. Why so pretty. She cast an discreet, wary glance toward Seiji and then down at herself before giving the other ghoul her full, undivided attention again.

"NOPE not mine," pepin replied to Junko.
Wren's reaction went unnoticed as the glitch ghoul crawled uncomfortably close while still on the ground. "HHhhehh...hiiiiiiiiiii!" she grinned delinquently before pushing back up with her minipet and let Junko be the first to introduce herself. "And I'm Pe- Pe- Pepin."

Tomoko seemed to bright up a bit as a small group seemed to assemble, starting to pick up a stack of the papers herself. "Someone's gonna be sad when they find out they dropped all of their papers." She noted out loud, looking at Pepin - whom she'd never met before - and watching the ghoul and the pet in her hands flicker in unison. It was very entrancing to watch and Tomoko sort of stared in awe, pausing to itch at the tip of one of her tails.
It itched so much. Why couldn't they have split already and been over with it? Oh, right. Because they'd wait until the most inappropriate of times to do such a thing.
Phooey.
Ah well, she'd just prepare for the ungodly mess it would make when it happened. It'd look like a scene out of a murder mystery, but... she'd be prepared for it.
"Hello!" Tomoko greeted brightly to both Wren and Pepin. "It's very nice to meet both of you, I'm Tomoko!" She chimed in herself, standing up with the stack of papers and looking over all of them. They all said the same thing and it seemed to be quite baffling..but the stack of papers in her arms were a nice replacement for the ball of stars that was not there.

Wren had not noticed her shadows taunting, it was something the little devious thing used to do behind her back... literally.
Oh god why did she have to follow the papers... it led to a mass of people, people she did not know. People she wanted to hide from! No reason at all really, she just was very skittish around this she did not know. A habit she was trying to curb, but hell.. even her closest friend sparrow still made the doe jump at times.
"H-hi..t-there." She stuttered, managing a few words as she slooowwlly scooted away from Pepin, whom was approaching even closer. Why was pepin flickering like that? "Im W-Wren, nice to meet you..t-too." Oh this was not going well... blushing furiously now, the doe found herself pressing her back against the wall of the hallway. Looking over as one more called out to her, she gave a friendly little wave and... head tilted at the paper stack she was holding. "...You own these?" She waved the now death gripped crumpled paper. It made sense! She had the most had she dropped them?

Sparrow had been doing nothing in particular when he ran across the rather peculiar object spread out across the hall of Amityville High. He'd been wandering the halls of the school, hands pushed into the pockets of his slacks, and there had been a strange crinkling, crunching noise beneath his boot. Looking down, Sparrow had found...a trail of paper?
Well, that was quite unusual.
So, of course, he'd followed, gathering them up in his arms until they were quite full, and he could not really see where he was doing. Lost in his own musings, he did not really hear anything except the muffled sounds of voices up ahead.
Which meant, naturally, that he accidentally trod across someone's foot.
"Oh, Jack, my apologies," he said, peering around the stack of papers with a smile. "I'm afraid I wasn't - Wren!"
Sparrow dropped the entire stack. Flustered, his face flushing a pale red, he fell to his knees in a hasty attempt to gather the papers back up again. A flash of something - the word Contract - caught his eye, but at the moment he ignored it, studiously attempting to ignore the way he was suddenly feeling incredibly stupid.
Especially since he realized, quite belatedly, that Wren was not alone. There were others gathered around, all of them holding stacks of paper, and none of which Sparrow recognized - though the ghost boil with the black skin looked mildly familiar, somehow.
"Er," said Sparrow, straightening up and attempting to gather some of his dignity back. He flashed a smile around at them all. "Good, er, day. I'm sorry to interrupt, er...whatever it is that...this is. Did someone drop these?"

As the students were talking, a few bypassers giving them strange looks, they may or may not have noticed a lump of blue and white walking down the hallway towards them. Upon second inspection, it seemed to be some sort of paper monster stack creature. Upon third inspection, as it walked a little closer, and suddenly stopped dead at Wren, as its head poked out from the stack of papers larger than itself (and precariously balancing), that it was just the school secretary. That is, for any student who actually recognized Arel as the school secretary and not a miserable four-foot lump of blue cloth carrying papers taller than himself.
Another few seconds paused. Some of the papers he was carrying jiggled and fell loose on the floor. "Are you just going to stand there forever? The secretary-slash-lump-of-blue-and-white snapped at Wren, clearly not pleased at how her presence was blocking his work progress. Upon several of the students simply just staring, he gave them a look.
"Well don't just stand there, pick those up for me. Seriously." They began grumbling about the general injustice of being underpaid, and something about his intelligence level dropping every second as they were around the (mostly) First Years.
