The black and white wild dog yawned and stretched. He had no idea where his sister was, but he knew his brother was nearby. Not that it mattered too much on a beautiful night like this - the sky was clear and the stars were bright. Rackney enjoyed gazing at them, though some might call it a weakling's pursuit.

He dared them to say that to his face. He might not be the toughest guy around, but he liked to think he wasn't a wimp or a pushover.

Okay, that sounded really bad when added to the fact that he spent his free time stargazing. Rackney snorted to himself and gave closer attention to one of the constellations far above.
