If the Surrounding showed Captain Howlite one thing, it was how underprepared most of the Negaverse [and the Senshi] truly are for battle. Her own encounters have shown that most of the enemy can't even throw a proper punch, but have magic to save their asses.
Negaverse officers, however, do not, and must rely primarily on their wits, and physical prowess, as their weapons are typically useless until later ranks.
Additionally, most know nothing of first aid, or discipline, since most are simply teenagers.
The Negaverse is supposed to be a dark army, but other than names, they seem lacking in that department. Captain Howlite intends to change that. She noticed entirely too much moaning and bitching, and cocky, inexperienced officers, vs capable ones that simply did their job without complaint.
This Negaverse Team really is more of a bootcamp training group, a militaristic company of warriors, meant to condition and create a group of elite, disciplined, loyal fighters, and to train them for both solo, and group combat.
While this group will provide your character with IC training in fighting, tactics, and other combat skills, it is not simply a team you want to drop a character in to gain those things. With it, comes the expectation of strict loyalty. These characters will be pushed to their physical brink, while also expected to follow the commands of their superior officers without hesitation.
I can be contacted at any time for Battery Related issues/plots via PM, or AIM: Dare Lyk Woah

THE BATTERY The act of beating, or pounding; A fortified emplacement for heavy guns. IC MANIFESTO If your character does not agree with, or does not believe in, these ideals, than they would not be selected for this group, plain and simple. As stated before, this group is not an assignment or a punishment, it is instead a privilege and an opportunity for those with the most loyalty and combat potential within the Negaverse.
You might consider the Battery to be the Negaverse's marines, and like them, they share a similar code.
HONOR Battery Members never forget that they serve for Earth, and you will never find one of its members beating up, robbing, and killing civilians. They are non-combatants, and are solely to be used for energy gathering, as necessary. Their primary duty is to fight the enemies of Earth, and the Negaverse, and so most of their time is spent in Anti-Senshi operations.
Along these lines, those deemed allies of the Negaverse have their full respect and cooperation, and Corrupt Senshi and Dark Mirror Court members will not find their efforts scorned.
Battery Members trust the word of each other above all else, and to betray your comrades is to ask for death.
COURAGE We are outnumbered, and outgunned at every turn. Do you have what it takes to fight on? Battery Members are conditioned to respond well under pressure, to fight through fear, and hold themselves to a higher standard of what it means to be an agent of the Negaverse. They are not fearless, but instead, rise above. This is what it means to be a hero.
COMMITMENT It doesn't matter who grabbed your starseed and pumped it full of Chaos, you answer to the Battery's Call, when it is given, and you perform your tasks. While your commanding officer guides you in all other functions, your duty to the Battery comes first, as the company is sanctioned by a General-King, and therefore Metallia.
Battery Members have a commitment to excellence, and discipline that makes them show up on each training day and give it their all. OOC GUIDELINES - Expect 'Smartass' Comments to NOT Be Tolerated! Snarky characters will quickly find themselves facing unpleasant tasks, and balking will result in dismissal. This group is a 'privilege' not a 'punishment'. - Expect Rank to be Adhered To! Unlike most of the Negaverse, where such things are casual when not involving a General-Queen or King, here, you listen to your superiors. - Please be either at Lieutenant or Captain [or Scout/Super] Rank! Although your character may be a Captain, expect, in this group [and only within the purposes of this group], for Captain Howlite to be ranking. Players with Generals that would like to be involved, or Captains that would like to instruct, should PM/IM me to discuss it! -This is a Combat Oriented group! If your character is more interested in simply talking to the enemy, and information gathering, please see Veritas. If they're interested in a support function as a medic, please see GUARD! Both are fantastic teams!
*Note: This doesn't mean that your character CAN'T speak with senshi, but it's not the group's primary function.

Training What You Can Expect: For your body to be sore, and grow stronger, each training day. Battery Members' will lose fat and gain endurance and ability.
Training takes place four days a week, Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday, at pre-determined times. This training is done within the Rift, though in later stages of the Battery may involve group-determined runs as civillians within Destiny City.
Push-ups Sit-ups Pull-ups 2-3 Mile Runs and 5-7 Mile Marches Team Building Defensive Tactics Compliance Holds and Strikes Deadly Combat Techniques Basic First Aid [Field Techniques]
Comrades are expected to work on techniques amongst themselves, and practice their training.
All combat techniques are hand-to-hand. Officers should look elsewhere for training with their personal weapons.
There is no weight training in the Battery, as the focus is on full body strength and ability, not muscle building. Expect to get lean, not ripped!
All Members of the Negaverse, and its Allies are welcome to take part in basic physical training with the Battery, which means that you're welcome to have your character come run with them and get fit. They are not, however, privy to their inner workings, or combat training.
Note: DMC senshi, specifically, will have to train with Battery Members in designated areas outside of the Rift, where they are not welcome to roam.

ENLISTED RANKS
Supreme Command: This is held only by Metallia, and in the highly unlikely event that she should speak directly to any Comrade, they know it's their duty to obey, immediately.
Commander-in-Chief: The General-Queens and King of the Negaverse. Their word is law, and vetoed only by Metallia herself. While not actually a part of the Battery, they still have control over their operations, when they choose to exert it.
Battery Commander: The operating leaders of the Battery. They oversee operations, appoint RTOs, and accept or deny membership, ICly.
Recruit Training Officers: Those officers with the skills to instruct others. These are generally reliable, hard-working agents, at Captain rank of above, though exceptions are made for those with particular talents. They may, or may not, be actual members of the Battery, of any rank above Recruit.
Comrades: Enlisted, regular members of the Battery. They know what's what, and have been training awhile. Trusted members, they are expected to assist their fellow comrades and the recruits in training. They no longer have to fear sudden dismissal.
Associates: Those members of the Battery that cannot enter the Rift, but are just have proven themselves. This is the rank most common to DMC senshi, or other, future allies of the Negaverse.
Recruits: Fresh meat. These are brand-new lieutenants, or perhaps captains without any combat skills. Some of them are brash, naive, or cocky, and need to be whipped into shape. They know little of the inner workings of the Battery, and have no responsibilities beyond showing up for training. Those Recruits that don't show commitment and improvement are cut from the program.
**Note: There are no 'slots' for each rank, and therefore, plenty of room to move up in the Battery!THE ENLISTED Supreme Command Metallia [duh]

FAQ Who Should Join? Characters that are looking for a purpose and discipline! If you're loyal to the hierarchy of the Negaverse, are looking for combat skills, or want a group of allies you can trust with your life, this is the place to go!
Benefits of Joining? IC Training in physical fitness, combat, and basic first-aid, as well as the opportunity for Battle Req's, both group and solo.
But there ARE Negatives, right? This is a strictly structured team! A lot of discipline, and swallowing your ego is involved. Your character makes a snarky comment? They can expect to do push-ups, then and there, in front of their peers. They also have a code-of-conduct that involves not mugging civilians, and other activities that your character might disagree with. The training takes up time, as well, and you'll have to dedicate a portion of your weekends to feeling like crap!
Why Howlite? She's hard working, and when she sees something that needs to be done, she does it. The girl is a team-player, and this is a very team-oriented group. They all serve a higher purpose, as small parts of a machine. While she doesn't judge the behavior of others, she holds herself to a particular standard of effort, and likes to surround herself with others that feel the same way.

Character Name: JarositeRank: Lt, soon to be Captain Skills/Talents: Good at kicking, follows orders relatively well, has a possible good location for draining energy (his band gigs), he will use a pair of dangers in his captain stage, and works in hand to hand fighting, if incredibly sloppy fighting. Activity Level: All the time except when I'm asleep or in classes. Interested in: Regular membership Anything else? Jarosite could really use a purpose, and he hates the concept of killing civilians and could use a good training regiment. /nodnod

Character Name: Sailor LetoRank: Super Senshi of ze Dark Mirror Skills/Talents: Senshi magic (camoflage), Blood Moon Court training, self-defense classes as a civ Activity Level: Online daily and I currently RP daily- if this changes I will notify right away! Weekends are the only time I likely won't get replies in. Interested in: Regular membership and building trust between her and Negaverse characters<3 Anything else? She can't go in the Rift obvs, so anyone willing to meet and train outside of that would be awesome. While she has her old BMC training, she wants to learn more to be able to kick a**- especially after she had 2 Eternals and a Super kick her a** all at the same time in the Surrounding. XD She is happy to train new recruits as well if they need it!

Fantastic, y'all! Just noting that almost everyone will START as recruits, due to the nature of things [team orientation and s**t], before being slotted elsewhere. Some notes on each:
Jarosite: Starting at Recruit, as he's only had some basic training, and has no civilian background in fighting.
Lyra: Starting at Recruit, Howlite'd try and pair her up with some of the other senshi, like Alunite or Leto, to help her out there. When she felt comfortable, they'd want her to help with combating magic training.
Leto: Likely to move up quickly, since she's experienced in combat, and in her own magic. More an orientation to make sure she's truly on board with the Battery, and some light testing of skill.
I'll get orientation going for y'all soon! I'd like to wait a bit, in case we have more "No Rift" folks, cause then we can do 'em at the same time.
