Character Name: Carwyn (Love, fair, blessed) Nightlingail.

Race: Majin.
Aspirations: Witch Eater. The space in between doesn't matter to Carwyn. Only the destination. He will find a witch that he can relate to. And then he'll eat it's heart.

Carywn experiences migraines when exposed to bright lights for an extended amount of time.

Carwyn's skin is very sensitive and not in the 'Allergic-to-every-skin-product' kind of way.
Another late night...
Carwyn 'suffers' from insomnia. Even after he's in bed, his mind doesn't want to shut down. He usually ends up staring at the ceiling thinking for an hour before getting up and continuing what he was focused on before attempting to sleep. Usually, he doesn't even attempt to fall asleep until the hours most would be waking.
A majin, adopted into a happy family who could not have children due to his mother's infertility. Carwyn's father, Carl, had originally wanted children and pushed his mother, Gwen, into adopting. A few months after his adoption, Carl passed away unexpectedly, leaving Gwen to take care of him by herself. Instead of giving Carwyn up, she kept him knowing that it was what her late husband would want. She found relief of taking care of a child that she never truely wanted through her job and hired a nanny to replace her role in her son's life.
Carwyn is an introvert down to the very pit of his soul. It isn't that he can not be social with others, it's just that he doesn't want to. As a child he was viewed as weak and sickly, having been diagnosed with insomnia and having a very small stature for his age and was rejected by his peers. This caused him to fall head first into his studies and after a few years he found that he actually enjoyed it better this way.
This can also be seen as him having a constant stick up his arse. Even after puberty, he doesn't acknowledge the opposite sex as something to be desired. He believes himself to be better than most, and while he keeps to himself a good majority of the time, if spoken to he'd likely just ignore the person until they went away.

Aspirations: Witch eater (to be among 'his kind') will probably eventually realize he's not a majin and settle for a different 3rd tier depending on RP.
Short Biography/background:
(Timid, Unlucky, Socially Awkward, Clumsy, Poor Eyesight, Loner)
Felix has always been the unlucky sort. Born as the only boy in a large family, he was usually the one to blame when something went wrong. His sisters would simply bat their eyes and play innocent, and suddenly his opinion didn't matter anymore. He was also the only one out of six children to inherit his mother's mononoke traits, and was teased by both his sisters, and any other children he spent time with while growing up. As a bat mononoke, he has terrible eyesight, relying mostly on his hearing to know where he's going.
Despite these things, he felt like a relatively normal boy. It wasn't until one morning, when as soon as his father saw his face, called out in terror and muttered over and over "Stay away from me, bat majin! Stay back!" Confused, the boy ran away from home, eventually moving into an apartment with one of his older sisters who ventured out to find him. He explained to her that the night before their father said that was nothing but a blur to him, and his sister told him that their mother fled, leaving only a note that said "Do not trust Felix."
Since then, he grew up under the impression that he was a majin, and that he tried to eat his father's witch heart.
(basically his mom was the bat majin who attacked the father, but blamed him and fled the scene)

Aspirations: Rescuing, getting back his family. That what he thinks he existed for.
Short Biography/background:

Chris is very short tempered, and hot headed. He can't handle things without a fight. Or at least a punch.
- Keep it cool. Stay cool!
He's always trying to keep things cool. Well, make himself look cool. But he loses it when he's angry. When he's angry, he'll do anything to kick the bad guy's butt.
- Bah, those dark cave are nothing!
Chris is also brave, and he won't give up until he finishes a problem. Chris usually underestimate his enemies also. He thinks he's the best!
Chris lost his family when he was such a little boy. Back there, he lives along with the humans, in the US. He was adopted by a family of humans. He thinks they're the same as him, so he's fine with them. An unbreakable bond forms between them.
Until a reaper showed up, and took away his mother and father (not his real one, the human ones). The reaper told him; he's not a human. He's much more extraordinary than that. The reaper will give back his 'family', if Chris can beat him. The hot - headed Chris faces the reaper, and he lost. The reaper went away.
Soon, he realized; he's a majin! Then, he went to Makai Royal Academy. There, he tried to learn the best magic, so he can become a great reaper, and finally rescue his 'family'.

Race: Human
Aspirations: To overcome the disability was born with and become a powerful caster despite it. What he really wants is to follow in his mother's footsteps and become a Ars Lilium, having spent a lot of time playing with her wolf familiar as a child, but only time will tell what path he follows in life.
Short Biography/background: Liam was born to a Ars Lilium as the result of a fling she'd had with another witch, someone that she would prefer to remain unnamed since it was never meant to be something serious. She's never told her son about the man nor does she ever plan to, instead having raised the boy on her own. It wasn't long after his birth though that she realized something amiss about him, bringing him to a healer she knew and after a physical it was determined that the boy was blind. It wasn't unheard of and it didn't make her love her sweet little boy any less. If anything it made her a little over protective.
Not to long after that he developed his mononoke gifts, something that surprised and pleased his mother greatly and it was something that he learned quickly to use to make his life easier. While still to this day unable to see in a normal sense he is now able to do in his own way so through echolocation, through touch, and seems to get along just fine aside from, perhaps, seeming to be a bit to touchy-feely when he meets new people, always wanting to touch their faces to get a sense of what it is that they look like. The only time his disability really bothers him is when others try to make it into more then it is, wanting to baby him, when he believes that there is nothing to baby him about. The fact that he has never been able to see makes it a sense that he can't really find himself missing. How can you miss something that you never had after all? The only one that he allows to baby him and act in an overprotective manner is his mother. After all she and her familiar have been doing so ever since he was quite little.
Liam is a rather sweet boy, always seen helping out at his mother's shop, mostly with the sweeping which has been his chore since he was little, and is ever dreaming of the day that he can go to the academy. He wants to be just like his mother, even though she can be a little clingy, and admires her greatly though there is of course that part of him that is quite curious about his father, where the man might be, and who he might have been as well. All stuff that is kept a tight lipped secret from the boy.

Aspirations: Reaper (However with certain rp he may not achieve his goals and fall to being a Witch Eater)
Short Biography/background:
Kalev hadn't known his parents, or where he even came from. He was raised by a Witch Eater with every intention of eating his heart when he grew older and stronger. She had started his training early, yet despite having such large ears, he's actually hard of hearing, so most that she said went unheard, which made her feel aggravated and that he was useless. She deemed him stupid, and called him worthless. She so "lovingly" named him Kalev, meaning dog. She kept him around despite her giving up on him. Even though she had no use for him anymore, he was still a good cook and knew how to clean up her messes, which he did without question.
Kalev grew up, knowing that he was unwanted and thus has developed a complex. Anyone who raises their hand or moves suddenly will cause him to jump back; not because he's afraid of domestic abuse, as the Witch Eater had never laid her hand on him, but because he has an undying need to please everyone as he did strive to please her. Thus when he sees anyone angry at him, or moves in what he thinks a negative way, he feels defeated. He wants to do good by everyone, even those who are recognized as "bad." Despite this though, he dreams of being a reaper, to be strong and respected, however, he has thought about becoming a Witch Eater as they are strong and cunning. He's a smart boy, but because of his bad hearing, he does often come off as unintelligent as it takes him a few times to hear someone before he catches on to what they're saying. He's not very good at lip reading as he's only spent his life with one person. He's easily manipulated, because of his dire need to please but he has his own opinions on fact and matter, even if he can be persuaded away from it, even if only for a little while. He has avoided girls in fear of making a fool out of himself because he worries too much about not being able to hear them correctly, but if one turned their eye to him, he'd try his best not to be an absolute loser. He's a good boy with a genuine heart, but temptation and persuasion are his poisons, and what path he goes down, is entirely up to the tangled world he lives in...

Aspirations: To become a powerful Reaper in order to prove himself to all those who ever looked down on him, or called him a Maijin.
Short Biography/background:
Shy | Distrustful, if not a bit paranoid | Good-natured | Uncoordinated | Obsessed with his studies | Resentful | Sensitive
Lyle was abandoned as a baby due to his mononoke traits, and grew up being passed around amongst many different orphanages and foster homes, never knowing one "home" for too long before being sent off to the next. The constant moving around didn't bother him - it was all he had ever known, so of course he was used to it. It was the revulsion he felt from those who shuffled him around that never got any easier to swallow.
He was a naturally timid boy, and his mononoke traits only made this worse. Tauntings and physical threats and aggression from the other children were part of his daily routine, and so he took to avoiding them altogether. But whereas the other children hated him, the adults seemed to fear him, calling him a "white demon" and accusing him of being a "soulless Maijin" under their breath. Of course, his sensitive ears heard all of it far too easily. Naturally, he developed strong distrust people, but perhaps even more than that, he grew to hate those ears that always got him into trouble and led him to hear things he didn't want to hear.
Still, he was a gentle boy, and his deep down his instincts seemed to tell him that he was a human, or that he at least didn't want to bring harm to others. Mrs. Whitaker, the last foster mother he ever had, sensed this in him, and went to extremes to protect him. Lyle was touched by this, but it was also clear to him just how much her kindness was costing her. The whispers that had been reserved for him spread to her good name, eventually attracting all sorts of negative attention for both of them. It was rumored that Maijins were beginning to seek him out, and one night, Mr. Whitaker, unable to handle the pressure, attempted to secretly trade Lyle off to one of these Maijins in exchange for impunity for his family, but the process was interrupted by a Reaper. A fight ensued, leading to the Maijin's defeat. Stunned by the Reaper's power, Lyle left for the Makai Royal Academy soon after, taking Mrs. Whitaker's name and vowing to gain that sort of power for himself in order to make her proud, and to make all those who would dare whisper behind his back eat their words.

Short Biography/background:
Short description/traits: Golden Boy/ Egotistical / Self Assured / Athletic/ Fickle
The only son of two very loving and well-off parents, they had no idea there was any possibility of their children being born with magic. When Kurt was born, not only with magic, but a mononoke, they took every step possible to make sure he would succeed. Kurt got the best available private education and training, and he excelled at almost everything he tried. The things he did not excel in, he dropped immediately. Kurt is intelligent, athletic, and he believes himself to be very attractive, but he hasn't actually had much contact with females his own age until now. Still, he is outgoing and confident enough that he believes he will conquer hearts as easily as he conquered the sports fields.
Kurt is entering the Royal Academy with every belief that he is a progidy and expects to graduate early. He hasn't thought that their might be challenges his teachers expect him to pass that his doting parents would not consider putting on their son. He especially wants to make his favorite aunt and best, Cora, proud of him. Kurt laughs easily and long, but once shamed or disgraced, he is an enemy for life.

Aspirations: Mostly, and for now, to just find a place he can feel safe, and in a sense, loved. Accepted. Gaining friendships would only lead to him thinking more on the matter, in terms of long term goals.
Short Biography/background: To most, Mononoke's are revered as a blessing. As gifted beings. To most... unfortunately, for Galliard's parents, he was seen as a plague, a bad omen, a disgrace. Even more so with his disability to see colour... or at least for extended period's of time. Instead, he'd only see it appear from time to time... at seemingly random instences. Since he'd been born, he had always been neglected, hardly even sustained at a reasonable level. He was never spoken to by his parents, only shouted, and snapped at to do things, or to be scolded when things weren't done correctly. They were a disease to his well-being, poisoning his mind with ill thoughts and views on himself. It became so bad that he now despises himself. He was kept in a small closet for a room, only lit by the crack under and above the door. It was big enough for him to fully stand, and walk about ten paces one way and another, but nothing more. However it kept him away from his shameless parents. The darkness was his home. His sanctuary... Most of his time was spent in solitude, until his parents would leave the home or call for him to do something. In turn, he never spoke. Not once. He did cry, however. In the company of his loneliness. Eventually he escaped. He ranaway when it was dark and his parents were distracted. The idea had come to him when he'd seen a moth escape its entanglement in a spiderweb situated just in the corner window of the hallway. He was frightened... scared out of his mind... but if that tiny bug could break from it's doom, then so could he! And so he ran. Ran and ran... until he was found by a Reaper who brought him into Lumena. The boy aws skittish, afraid, paranoid, and uncertain. He figured everyone hated him on a whim, as if they knew who he was, and could see straight to his soul... which had to be skewed.. right? But he found the first hint of warmth to the cold that had trapped and encased him all his life... Kindness.. a smile... Galliard drifted and found himself drawn to such things. Like an abandoned pup given the first glimps of affection. Maybe... he could live in this sort of life... Maybe there was a place for him.

Aspirations: Witch Eater; obtaining all the power that he can.
Short Biography/background:
Because of his acute hearing, Mikhail really hates loud noises and loud rooms. For example, when a classroom gets loud with idol chit-chat, he's prone to getting up and walking out. It makes him seem uncaring and antisocial, in a sense he is. That many voices assaulting his ears at once makes socializing unbearable. If a loud bang occurs near him, it even has the ability to disorientate him for a short amount of time. The only upside to his hearing is the ability to hear someone whispering for a distance.
Along with his hearing, his eyes are unique. He has average 20-20 vision, though he is color blind. (Tritaopial) Because of this he'll usually guess the wrong color and make mistakes with items if not properly labeled.
As for his childhood, he became quite defensive about his conditions. Classmates and other adults would mock him about his hearing or color mishaps. Because of this, he would instigate the fights and often come home with cuts and bruises. He may have brains, but he was severely lacking in the brawns category. So his parents, hoping a change of schools would improve his behavior, sent him off to a new one. Though the damage is already done and Mikhail will one day show everyone just how strong he can be. Society can only laugh at you when you're weak, and when you have the power you can make them kneel before you.

Short Biography/background:
(Overly friendly, easily confused, poor eyesight, good hearing, very klutzy, hard working)
Target comes from an odd family who names their children after what they believe that they are destined to be throughout the rest of their lives. While being the only one blessed as a Mononoke, his poor eyesight and lack of coordination landed him with his name, his parents certain that he'd never amount to anything better then target practice for the local guard, or his brother Archer. Even without the support of his parents, Target is ready and willing to become a useful member of the Academy and prove his parents wrong by showing them that he can, and will, amount to something more worthwhile then someone's punching bag. He wants to be a protector, but other then that his goals are uncertain.

Aspirations: To become a powerful Witch Eater and inspire a loyal following.
Short Biography/background: Wayne prefers to hang back and observe, often coming off as aloof and judgemental. True, he can be callous at times, but the way he sees it he's just being cautious. Wayne is distrustful of others and quick to point out flaws, attacking others first before they can hurt him. The distant and cold front he puts on is to shield his more sensitive and insecure side, born from a childhood of torment as a Maijin. Bitterness and resentment further cover the lonely boy he is, driving him to seek revenge and become the deplorable Witch Eater he's been cast as for so long.
