I'm starting a new Oblivion character.
Now it's your turn to choose what happens!
But first, an Opening Cinematic! Watch that.
Okay, watched it? Good. Keep in mind this s**t is image-heavy. Never mind, way too big. Click the thumbnails to see fullsize. And the link to the next post is at the bottom of each, for streamlining.
If you chose not to watch (a*****e, can't even follow orders):

That's the Imperial ******** Prison. Like the prison of the ******** Emperor, where they keep dudes who piss him off. No clue why you're in there. You probably mooned a Chancellor Ocato or something, in which case ******** him, he's a pompous c**k.

This is you. Okay, no, it's not, because this guy is Default Man and we don't like him.
So I need a name, I need a hair color, I need an eye color, and most importantly, I need a race.
And wow, sex isn't on that first page? Weird. Well, anyway, race. Race is most important. Lemme get the page listing the races and their attributes. We'll start with elves. So many ********' elves.
Altmer: Your typical high elves. Frequently assholes. Really good for magic, but kinda shitty for melee. Resistant to disease (which is easy to cure, who gives a ********), but take extra damage from elemental attacks. I love slicing up Altmer with Inferno Longswords.
Breton: These guys are descendant of half-elves, so I'm gonna count 'em. These guys are both good at magic, they're also resistant to it-- but they're not nearly as good as the Altmer. They also look like jaundiced derps. Not as much as Altmer, though. Truth be told, everything looks like derps.
Bosmer: Your wood elves. Think Legolas, but without being ladies. Long ears and skill with bows and stealth. They also have a weak ability to command an enemy creature to fight on their side, but it'll only command the weakest enemies, and only once a day. Also, they're cannibals. Just FYI.
Dunmer: CREEPY RED EYES. These guys are Dark Elves. Not evil, just dark. Also, other people don't like them so much! Racists. Resistant to fire, really quick, and dispositioned toward becoming Spellswords. Also they can call up a weak-a** ghostie to help 'em once a day. They recover magicka slowly, though.
Orc: ORCS. Oh man, finally, something that's not-- oh wait, no, these guys are elves, too. Corrupted Elves, or Pariah Folk. Do I really need to explain Orc? Magic resistant, Berserking, smashy-smashing strong men. Also they're green and have tusks.
Humans:
Imperial: Regular old humans, from good ol' Cyrodiil. Good all around, but don't exceed anywhere... except charisma. They can charm people, and have high Personality. Which is a pretty useless stat. There's even a quest where you want to have low personality. However, if you DO choose to raise it, you can charm guards into paying your fines for you. But that's only if you make them really, really love you, and that's not easy. Besides, anybody can make a cheap, effective charm spell.
Nord: Dudes from up north in Skyrim. Big, beefy, and well-suited to cold climates, they can deal frost damage once a day, get frost resistance, and are built like tanks. Suck at magic, though.
Redguard: Black guyyyyys. Not actually related to Nords or Imperials at all, apparently, but they aren't elves, either. They're Reasonably Human. And they are the Toughest Fighters. Fast, strong, and they can take a hit. And they can boost their fighting stats for sixty seconds a day! By a -ton-. But they're s**t at magic. They also have good disease and poison resistance.
Beastfolk
Khajiit: Cat people. Freaky-a** cat people. Very fast and agile, well-suited to stealth roles and archery, they're also not bad at magic. Plus, these ******** can see in the dark, and can give anybody the Evil Eye once a day to send them running home with s**t in their pants. Their biology is ******** whack, though. Literally, like, there are a bunch of different khajiit races, and the race a child is has no relation to its parents. It's based on the phases of the moons. Not kidding.
Argonian: Lizard folks, from the swampy land of Blackmarsh. These guys can kick some a**. They're also strong and fast, and they can use magic capably. They can also breathe underwater indefinitely, which is handy! And their nasty-a** swamp homeland has made them completely immune to poison, and almost completely immune to disease. Don't really excel in destructive magic, though.
No wrong choices, though.
Don't forget the name, hair, and eyes.
