person i am in love with is going on a trip for 10 months. sad
we dated for a year and a half, some of it long distance. we broke up cause we were just both too busy and stressed at the time and it was for the best.
we've kinda been gradually getting close again but not THAT close since well we both knew this trip was coming.
now he's leaving in 10 days.
we don't want to do anything long distance again and it's too long of a time to say we'd try again properly when he gets back. cause who knows what will happen in 10 months.
to top it off i am so busy i can probably only see him once or twice more before he goes.
this really sucks, guys.

Well listen, they always say distance makes us wise right? What if the 10 months makes him realize how much he loves you? Right? RIGHT?

all i really want is for him to be happy cliche cliche cliche and if that means he makes out with ALL THE SLUTTY EUROPEAN GIRLS then so be it.
but yeah he's been saving up for the trip since he was 15 so i am excited for him and don't wanna burden him with all my ~emotion~
which is why the ladies forum is getting all this ranting.
i do hope you're right and we do learn something about what our relationship actually is with this trip.
