The market became open for robotic parts and machinery, available for the right price to amp up any competitor. The once great legends of the boxing world have now been forced into early retirement, or have joined the World Robot Boxing League (WRB).
You are one of the underdogs, famed for battling in the Underground Boxing Leagues, illegal to the public though get much of the public eye. These matches are No Holds Bars and Anything goes, illegal parts, illegal bots, illegal anything can be purchased down here, as long as you don't get caught. The Bank, however, is incredible and parts will blow your mind. Stories can be heard of a young "Sparring Bot" named Atom who became the next Champion in the year 2024.

Remote Control robots are just as they sound, controlled by either remote controller or by a voice activation codes. These are the most common of all the robot controls because they are the cheapest.
Shadow Function means that you must move with your robot to have him fight. First introduced in Series 2, this form is very unorthodox and very hard to use. It is also expensive, very much, because not very many robots use them though some come preprogrammed with it.
