To say Felicia wasn't adjusting well would have been an understatement. No, not Felicia.. Not anymore at least. She was Lydia now, that was the name she'd chosen. Lydia Hawthorne. It was going to take a while to get used to that, she knew it, but she didn't honestly have the time. She needed to adjust, and fast, her safety depended on it. Not just her's either, but the friends and family she'd had to leave behind. It was a very harsh reality, something no eighteen year old should really have to deal with, but life wasn't always fair.
Her new life consisted of a fairly under furnished room in an apartment that didn't belong to her. There was a queen sized bed, and it was actually really comfortable, but Lydia hadn't spent much time in it yet, she was having trouble sleeping ever since her return from mirrorspace.
It wasn't just her giving everything up, it was everything she'd witnessed up in space and the deaths of her friends.
The desk was empty, the shelves were bare, and the closet was barren. It was too stark, too impersonal. She was grateful, lord knows she was, but it just wasn't homey.
That was what had propelled the girl to wander down the hall to where her knew room mates was. Pausing at the door to lean against the frame. One pale hand curled lose around her opposite arm. "Hey Quinn, I need a favor." She hated to ask, the other senshi was already doing so much for her, but she just didn't know who else to turn to at the moment.

Quinn had her back propped up against a bunch of pillows on her bed as she took the time to enjoy being able to indulge in reading a book. When was the last time she got to do that? Suddenly she was taken out of her concentration when one of her new roommates asked her for a favor. She set the book aside and looked up at the other girl. She knew that Lydia hadn't been sleeping well, just by looking at the other girl you could tell. Unfortunately, Quinn knew that feeling all too well.
"Yeah Lyd, what's up?"
A concerned look appeared on her face as she studied the other girl. She genuinely felt bad for her, which was something Quinn wasn't used to. Being Leto so often had hardened her as a person. She still didn't really know what to do with herself as a civilian- Quinn had been absorbed and only Leto remained, so this was definitely an adjustment period for her.
"You know I'm happy to help, whatever it is."

A shadow of a smile flicked across pale lips as Quinn set the book aside to offer hr full attention, and Lydia took that as an invitation, taking a few steps past the door and into the room. If anyone could understand the predicament Lyds was now in, it was this girl, having gone through it all herself. Requiem too had had to give up her life, and though She respected the other senshi as a fighter and a superior, she felt she had a better connection with Quinn/Leto. Silly maybe, but true.
"Do you think you could take me through the mirrors, to my old room?" She knew there was a very good chance her possessions had all been packed away or thrown out, that her parents had accepted that their daughter wasn't coming back, but if there was any possibility of her stuff still being there... it was worth checking, wasn't it?
It wasn't really stealing if the stuff was her's to begin with, was it? And even if it was, her parent's weren't using it. If she could get some of her life back. Her clothing, her computer, her phone, then maybe she things would begin to look a little brighter. She just felt so lost lately.
"I need a few things," she started then, bit her lips and looked away. "I don't have any clothes, and I don't want to keep borrowing yours." Her fingers tightened on her own arm. "And there things I need." Silly personal things, keepsakes. Surely Quinn would understand. "I know I can't have my old life back, it's not safe, but surely I could parts of it?" She looked up then, hazel eyes all but pleading. She needed this.

At first when Lydia asked Quinn to help her essentially break into her old room and steal her things, she wasn’t entirely sure what to think. She kind of stared at the other girl for a few seconds, trying to think about the idea.
“Are you sure?” Quinn looked at the other girl, her eyes softened and with almost a sadness in them. “I’ve done it… I’ve gone back to my old place. It’s not going to be easy, Lydia. As a matter of fact, it ******** sucks.” She frowned a little and sighed heavily.
“But I’ll go with you, if you’re positive that’s what you want to do. I wouldn’t want you to go alone. You just gotta promise me we won’t linger. And you can’t see your parents.”
She stood up and grabbed her henshin pen off of her nightstand.
“Promise?”

The longer it took for Quinn to respond, the more Lydia began to think it had been stupid to even ask, and one hand came up to curl around her opposite arm. It was a bad idea, she knew it was, but she'd had to ask.
As the seconds ticked by her grip on her own arm grew tighter and tighter, until finally the other girl responded. Shoulder's sagging, Lydia nodded, smiling again, though like the other it was weak. When she let go of her arm to dig her henshin pen from her pocket there were little indents where her nails had been digging. Nervous, not that Quinn would say no, but that she'd think it was a dumb idea, or worst.
"I'm sure." She didn't expect it to be easy, and she merely nodded with Quinn gave her warning. Yes, it would suck, but maybe it would bring a little closure as well. "I know, but I've still got to do it."
Gripping her pen in both hands she stepped further into the room and closer to her room mate. "I promise." Tempting as it would have been to peek downstairs at her parents, she knew it was a terrible idea. With any luck they wouldn't even be home, and there wouldn't be anything to worry about it.

The word ‘promise’ was all Quinn needed to hear before she jumped to her feet, thrust her hand into the air and called out “Leto Power, make-up!” And with a swirl of ribbons and glitter, Quinn Bennett now stood before Lydia as Super Sailor Leto.
She stood, waiting for her roommate to follow suit and transform as she just had. She glanced at the full-length mirror that hung on her bedroom wall. If anyone outside of the Dark Mirror Court were to enter her apartment they would think that Quinn was incredibly vain with the amount of mirrors she had hanging.
As soon as Lydia was transformed, Leto would take her through the mirror and into mirrorspace. From there, she would have her roommate lead so she could follow through the mirror on the other side into what was once Felicia’s room.

Lydia couldn't help but watch on in amazement as Quinn transformed herself into Sailor Leto. It was still incredibly new, and the novelty hadn't quite worn off yet. It didn't matter that she could do the very same thing, it was still cool to watch, and probably would be for quite some time now.
When the sparkle had faded from Leto, Lydia held her own pen up, a little less sure then Quinn had, and called out as well. "Navi Power, Make-up!" She wasn't gunna lie, even knowing that it would work, Lydia still felt a little silly calling out like that. Granted, that foolishness always faded quickly as ribbons and glitter swirled about her to replace common clothing with her sailor fuku.
Navi followed the other senshi with eager apprehension as they moved through the mirror and into mirrorspace, stepping past Leto once there to take the lead. It was only then she stopped to wonder what would happen if the mirror was no longer there on the back of her old bedroom door. A little late, considering she was already walking forward through the silvery surface. Arms going up automatically to protect her face despite the cool, tingle sensation that washed over her as she passed through unscathed. Nope, not used to that yet.
She came out the other side and damn near stumbled in her heels a the slight difference in height between the bottom of the mirror and the floor, having to grab the edge of her desk to keep from taking a very undignified trip.

Leto quickly followed Navi through the mirror and while she was much more skilled at mirror-walking, she also stumbled slightly when she came out on the other side. It always felt strange showing up in someone’s house unannounced, and usually unwelcome. She scratched the side of her head for a moment.
Should they stay henshined while doing this? What if someone Order-aligned sensed them in the room? She frowned slightly and decided that she would just have to be on the look-out and make sure that she could grab Navi and get through the mirror quickly if she needed to.
“Alright… Let’s get what you need and get out of here before someone hears us,” she said quietly as she looked around the girl’s former room. She felt a pang of sadness as she watched Navi go through her things.
She absolutely hated that anyone had to go through what she did a few months prior. At least in Leto’s case she didn’t live with her parents, in-fact they were in another country. But Lydia? She lost a lot and it made Leto ache for this poor girl.

Not only would falling have been embarrassing, but it surely would have alerted anyone that might have been milling about down stairs. Carefully the girl straightened, then smoothed her palms along her fuku to straighten it, eyes roaming along the all too familiar setting. This was her room, her room, and being back in it was enough to make her throat tight.
There wasn't time to linger though, and she nodded to Leto as she suggested they make their visit as quick as possible. "Right." Now, where did she even begin? When she'd asked she'd had a clear list of things she'd wanted to take, but now that she was here..
Fingertips tapping a little indecisively against her lower lip, she looked around for something to carry things in, then brightened a little when she spotted her back pack, and the computer bag slung over the window seat. Snatching the pair of them up, she offered the computer bag to Leto, then pointed over towards the laptop sitting on her desk. "Can you pack all that away in there? The laptop, the mouse, and all the cables?" There was an impressive layer of undisturbed dust on everything, and Navi had to assume her parents hadn't been in the room in quite some time.
And while Leto packed up the electronics, Navi would pack up some of her clothing. Undergarments and essentials, then some of her favorite pants, skirts, dresses, and shirts. She didn't take the time to fold things as she pulled them off the hangers, but one could tell by the way she tucked them into the bag that she cared for her clothing. Her parents were well off, but over the last year or so Lydia had made a lot of tips at her job, and she'd bought most of her wardrobe, as well as the computer and phone.
Speaking of..
Taking a break from clothing, Navi straightened and grabbed the iPhone off the bedside table, stuffing it down between her breasts for safe keeping.

"You got it, darlin'" Leto said with a smile. She took the bag from Navi and made her way over to the desk. She quickly shoved the laptop, mouse and all of it's cables and accessories into the bag. Unlike Navi who was putting things away carefully, that was definitely not Leto's style. She pretty much just shoved anything in the bag in any way possible as long as it fit.
"What else do you wanna take? If we're out of bags I can mirrorwalk back and forth to our place and bring things over so you don't get exhausted."
The least Leto could do was use the fact that she was a Super Senshi and could mirrorwalk more often without getting as tired to her advantage.
"Particularly if there's anything larger that won't fit in a bag." She shrugged slightly. She knew when she robbed her own apartment of her things a few months back that she took every single piece of electronic equipment that she had- and considering her obsession with collecting technology? That was a whole lot. And a lot of it was large. Like, flat-screen tv kind of large.
"Your parents will obviously know s**t went missing... But let's be honest, they would never think it was her daughter risen from the dead with her buddy in a miniskirt stealing it all through mirrors."

Navi had paused beside the bed, attention resting on a framed photograph propped up beside her lamp. It was her parents and her on a vacation they'd taken about a year back. "Um.." Her fingers closed around the frame, and she walked back across the room to the bag with her clothing, stuffing it down along the side of it. "Well I wasn't planning on looting the place really, but the more I look, the more I see that I want to take." Was that a slight sparkle of moisture in her eyes when she looked up at Leto? Could be, but she turned away too quick for any tears to be obvious should they fall.
She helped herself to a few more of her dresses, then closed the bag and moved it beside the mirror, ready to go when they were finished.
At last she turned to her book shelf, and chewed her lower lip thoughtfully as she looked over the row of old bindings. "The books," she said at last, pulling an old copy of The Great Gatsby from the top and running her fingers down along the spine. They were all old, first additions or simply antique. She'd collected them for a while, though once electronic copies had become available she hadn't touched them. Still, they were important.
And if they were going to be taking more then she'd originally expected too anyways, then they might as well take the tv and gaming systems. "I Guess the other electronics too." She offered a sheepish smile to the other girl as she continued to pull books off the shelf. "Maybe I should have thought to bring a few bags."
She wasn't worried about them being caught. Really, what could be done? They hadn't broken in, and they weren't leaving much in the way of evidence behind.

Leto couldn't help but laugh when Navi started pulling books from her shelves. So much for just grabbing some clothes and her phone. She walked back to the mirror with the laptop bag and grabbed the bag of clothes that Navi had left there.
"I'll be right back, stay out of trouble while I'm gone," she said with a grin. She quickly slipped through the mirror with the bags. When she appeared in her own bedroom on the other side, she wasn't even going to bother exiting the mirror entirely. She bent over and placed the bags ont he floor and was about to slip back into mirrorspace to get back to Navi's old place when she remembered she had a huge dufflebag that she used to take her own things a few months back.
She stepped out of the mirror that hung on her wall and immediately rummaged through her closet until she found the big bag. "Ah-ha!~" She said to absolutely no one since she was alone in her room. Grabbing the bag, she moved back to her mirror and slipped through it, emerging back in Navi's room out of breath.
She tossed the girl the large bag. "Your books and electronics fit in there. As a matter of fact, I know they will." She glanced at the tv. "How heavy is it?" She scratched her head as she examined the television, trying to figure out if it would be too heavy for her to carry on her own.

Leto's jested warning earned her a sharp little sniff and a roll of Navi's eyes before she slipped away through the mirror to deposit the two full bags back in the apartment. Hopefully she'd bring more back with her, because their little mission to grab a few choice items was turning into a full blown looting.
There was a small part of the senshi that felt bad, but she had payed for most, if not all, of these items, and they rightly belonged to her. Besides, they were doing nothing here but collecting dust.
She'd left the books alone while Leto was gone, and instead turned her attention to unplugging and tying up all the cords for her playstation and xbox so they'd be easier to transport. The giant dufflebag that landed suddenlt on her head would do nicely. "This is perfect!" Stretching it wide, Navi was amazed to see it was large enough that she could have fit in it herself with room to spare. The bag was huge.
"It's a flat screen, so not terribly heavy. I've never had to lift it though." It wasn't huge, maybe 40"s tops. Navi probably could have lifted it if she had ever bothered trying. "If it's too heavy, I'll help, I'm almost done packing this all away." She'd made quick work of stashing away the gaming systems, cords, controllers, and games. All that was left now was the books, and that would probably be it.
Systematically she went through the titles, pulling out books and tucking them away neatly within the bag. By the time she was done there was only about half the books left that had been there to begin with, but all the ones she'd selected were either valuable or held some emotional significance.

When Leto returned and saw that Navi was packing a Playstation and an Xbox, she instantly knew that they'd be great friends considering Quinn had a few game systems set up in the living room. She wrapped her arms around the tv in the least awkward way that she could and attempted to lift- okay, it wasn't as heavy as she expected.
"Shouldn't be a problem," she confirmed with Navi.
"Is there anything else you need taken over? Or will this be it?" She sat down on Navi's bed, crossing her legs and tucking them under her.
She knew how hard it was going to be for her friend to go back through that mirror and say goodbye, but she also knew it was something that needed to be done.

Navi leaned a little closer to Leto as she tested the weight of the tv, ready to catch it should the other girl find it heavier then expected. Not that she'd had to, but caution was always preferred to recklessness. She'd figured there'd be no problems, that the tv wasn't too heavy, but it sure as hell would have sucked if the thing had fallen and alert the rest of the house to their unwelcome presence. "Good."
The last of her books were tucked away within the bag, and she spent a moment or two fussing with the placement of everything, if for no other reason then to stall. There was nothing else she could think to bring, so they should get out of there, but it wasn't easy for her to nod over her shoulder at her friend. "No, this is everything."
Much as she wanted to just stay there she knew it wasn't an option. She zipped the bag and stood up, pulling the strap up and over her shoulder. It was incredibly heavy, but beyond the slight teeter and bid to reclaim her balance there was no outward sign to the weight. It wasn't as though Leto could help her with it anyways, not if she was going to be carrying the tv. "Let's go."
She made it as far as the mirror before dropping the bag and hurrying back over to her bed, snatching up the top pillow and stuffed turtle, tucking the both of them under her chin before freezing. She hesitated to look back at Leto, and the look on her face was wounded and sheepish. "Sorry, now we can go."
