The first thing the horsemen noticed about this abode - this lair - was that there was absolutely no roof. Instead, hovering in an infinite black, clouded space were hundreds, thousands of doors, each one different. The floor itself was polished, though strange gears - what looked like oversized clock gears - ran along the ground, illuminating the entire expanse in an overcast green, giving the area the impression of a haunted clock tower. Click, click click, spun the largest of the gears as something chimed, a muffled ring.
High above, there are twenty doors that seem... different than the others. The longer a horseman thinks about a specific door, the lower that door swoops until it is touching the ground...

GROUP JUMPING AND YOU!With the assistance of the special amulet provided by that mysterious NPC, the Horsemen can now JUMP from group thread to group thread whenever they want. You have two options: you can PICK the thread you wish to jump into, or you can RANDOMIZE the thread. To randomize, simply roll 1d20. When you roll a 20, please contact a GM. Otherwise, what you roll is the thread you can jump into. You can choose to jump into that thread or not; your choice. If you want to reroll, you can. Please limit rerolls to 5 times per day. BEFORE YOU BEGIN ROLLING MAKE SURE YOU DO THE FOLLOWING:1) Post your Fear for approval HERE. You may NOT battle until your Fear has been approved.2) Claim an OOC post. In this post, please keep track of the threads your horseman goes into for ~mysterious GM purposes~. 3) If you have questions, please contact a GM! It is up to you guys to decide whether you wish to split up or to stay together. There is strength in numbers, but splitting up does yield a better chance to find those damn Hunters...

Invictus stepped into the building, giving it a look over that was quite...curious. He 'hmmm'd thoughtfully. Had he ever been inside a space that was like this one? Somehow, if he had ever been Conquest didn't mention it. In fact, he regarded the entire room with the same sort of calm observation he would have given anything he was trying to put to memory. It seemed like something out of a children's film. Yes, he was sure there had been doors to everywhere used in such a device once upon a time.
Though the idea of the four horsemen sitting in a movie theater for longer than it took for Eris to set everything ablaze was quite..hilarious, to say the least. He touched his face with one hand, the elbow rested against the palm of the other as Invictus thought it over, observing everything in a twisted game of memory. Everything was important, and thus he would take care to remember...everything. Conquest saw all, it was simply in his habits to do such a thing.
"This is quite a curious room..." he noted, watching the doors that swung as though they were a pendulum of taunting and teasing. However, he did not move towards any of them yet. He simply watched, perhaps even took some grim satisfaction of what was happening in the room - that small bit of interest in it's workings.
"How would you ladies prefer to go about this?" Invictus required, looking to his female companions. All together or apart, either way was possible now that they weren't being watched after.

Eris' hackles were still raised from the pendants that were hanging around their necks, far too reminiscent of those damned pale blue ones that made them all go just a little more crazy than they already were. Any of the other horsemen could tell, not even from a look, just from the feeling in the air, the crackle of tension like she might set the oxygen itself on fire. Anyone else might have just thought it was a change in air pressure -- maybe they were higher up now? -- but for the horsemen, they knew. They were all like that, able to sense each other so easily, and it was both a gift and a curse. On one hand, having three other individuals who understood you so completely, you didn't have to say anything... and on the other hand, having three other individuals who understood you so completely, you didn't have to say anything.
They'd more than once tried to kill each other. And for each individual combination you could think of fighting the other/s, at the same time there were the same unlimited combinations of those who nursed the wounded of their party back to health.
Sometimes it was even the same individual/s.
The heir of War's heels clicked delicately across the gears which scattered the floor, her eyes turned downward as if sorely tempted to stick her heel in one to try to break the whole system. She was just in that type of mood -- then again, it didn't seem to be an uncommon occurrence, finding yourself on the wrong side of her temper was as easy as lighting a stick of dynamite. Had she not been so tense, she might have admired the sound of the clicking, the ceiling-which-was-not-there, the tarnished metal of the gears. Instead, as Invictus spoke she lifted her head and turned a little to face him, arms folded loosely under her ample bosom, normally-warm brown eyes now licked by fire.
"Find them. Kill them. Roast them on a spit. Serve them for lunch in the cafeteria."
Sliding one hand down her side to the sheath at her waist, Eris slid the gold dagger free, running the visibly-sharp edge across her thumb.
"Not necessarily in that order."

Aisa's nail scratched the brass amulet harshly, her fingers running along the gear's sharp edges. It flew briefly forward as Aisa bent forward to inspect a gear, landing against the curve of her rounded chest (Eris was much more endowed though,) the heir to Death simply gazing upwards. She stared at the doors above of them for a while, iris eyes staring with such intensity, as if discerning what was happening behind those doors .. Which obviously, couldn't be seen.
But from the way Aisa stared, it could almost be said that a movie was playing on those blank pieces of wood.
One hand lifted the deep crimson cloth from her upper thigh, pulling forth the hourglass from who-knew-where, the hourglass spinning like Hellma's pen between her fingers.
"Don't eat them. They'll give you indigestion, Eris." Aisa remarked, her finger briefly running over a gear. "Cym, Connie, Eris .. Shall we .. how do humans put it .. make a bet .. on who gets the highest kill count? At the end, of course." Under the lines, Aisa meant something along the lines of 'get out alive.' Naturally, in any other situation, that would have been a guarentee except that Red's anxiousness couldn't be concealed. As crabby or calm as the heirs were, or possibly even amused, Red was anxious about something. Her lips curved in reminder, the hourglass pausing in motion to roll back and fro between the battle scarred palm of Aisa's hand. With a delicious excitement bubbling through the murky swamp of fear, insanity and whirlwind of emotions-- They would finally be given a chance to exercise their fear to their heart's content.
Amityville was quite lovely .. and restraining. Especially so for the heir of death, the lack of death in Amityville was a turn-off for the horsemen. Idle boredom never became them, the fleeting moments of the lowest levels of excitement made the boredom gnaw incessantly. At best, Aisa could frighten the other students or participate in brief sparring matches. But that didn't come close to fulfilling the need of death within her.
Also .. Aisa sure did want to find out what that 'something' was.

(Rolling for a room -- hopefully she doesn't find hunters)
"You're on," Eris replied with a little bite to her tone, already reaching up to curl her fingers around the pendant to summon a door. The flippant tone wasn't because of Aisa -- normally, a bet such as this one would make the horsemen gleeful, ready to playfully squabble amongst each other about what counts and what doesn't and who really won, only to likely end up forgetting it at the end to go mess around with something else. This time, they all seemed particularly keen on vengeance, something they all felt strongly about. The fire in Eris' warm brown eyes had flashed brighter at the bet, not for the bet itself, but for the smell of crackling hunter flesh.
Lifting her face towards the endless doors, the horseman of war focused on one in particular, watching as it descended towards her. As it dropped with a soft 'thud' to the ground, she kicked off the floor, running forward with surprising agility despite her dress, lunging for it. At the last second, she flared her wings to spin onto her back, facing the others with a continuing backward momentum through the door.
"See you on the other side~"
Whether she meant of that door or the afterlife, even she didn't know.
(Exit to Room 1~)

"Curious~" Cymbeline echoed teeny little Pesty, gazing around the giant space with wide, mischievous eyes. As she fixated on one door it began to drift down towards her. The heir's reaction was to giggle like a little ghoul and prance away, making the door follow her until her attention strayed to the gears under her feet.
"It ticks... bloodsucking little vermin." The ghoul wandered back to where the other heirs stood and tuned into the conversation at hand.
"Yessss. Let's find them, and not eat them~ We can send them to their maker!" Cymbeline squealed with a mad excitement, and paused to stare up at the doors lurking on the very edge of their vision. "But perhaps... Would there be a door.... Surely there must be a door to their maker. I should like to meet him myself~ And tell him how to PUNISH HIS MALICIOUS, HATEFUL LITTLE WORMS. I would tell him."
Cymbeline twirled on her heels, and made a face upwards. But no god-like door twirled down towards her. Clearly the pathetic deity was not home! She harrumphed like it was a personal offence, and then cackled some for good measure.

"That seems like it would be quite the fun game, Aisa." Invictus agreed as Eris picked a door and moved on, seeming ready to set a few things ablaze.
Invictus grinned - a genuine expression only the three ghouls in the room would ever see from him - at Cymbeline's mirth, brushing his hand lightly against hers as she too picked a door.
"Have fun." he bid, looking to Aisa. "It sounds like it will be quite a challenge, if nothing else. We will see what happens." Invictus also chose a door, but it seemed that despite their plans to split up, his choice was.... not noticed as one that had already been made by one of the previous two ghouls and he too stepped through it.
"Let us see who wins." he challenged as he too stepped into his potential doom.
((Invictus has exitted to room 1 with Eris. ))

"The doors swallowed them right up. Perhaps we just haven't unlocked the maker's door yet." Aisa referred to Cym's rather genius idea, her poker face as unreadable as ever. She stared at no door in particular, no outward emotion .. yet a door came flying down down. With her ultimate poker face.
"You don't need to tell him Cym. Just show him. When he gets back, he'll see what we've done with all of his lovely worms." her hand reached back to flick her hair, ".. We'll leave them at his front door, won't we?"
Speaking of doors.. She lifted a sharply toed heel to give the door a rather large scratch, as if to mark it. The heir wasn't nearly astute enough to claim she knew this door our of all the ones floating above because quite frankly, doors were doors. Same planks of wood. But her plank had a black-stained scratch. Now, she knew which door it was.
One hand opened the door, peeking forward .. A pause .. She needed the right .. No, not that one. Not this one. Not .. That was it! Apparently, she had found the proper song to hum to whatever this door struck within her. The door left jarred open carelessly, Aisa disappeared as well. With a dinstinctly and surprisingly excellent sens of music. Insanity made it's own lovely melody.
