Yuudai Dual colored eyes where almost vacant he stumbled into the den panting heavily. He watched the cheetah walk off to find whoever's den he just left the lion in but he got sidetracked with his work and forgot. Tsu was thankfull for finally being alone somwhere quite where he could relax and not have to stay away to make sure nothing else attacted him. He still couldn't believe he had even allowed himself to get this hurt as badly as he did. He opened his eyes hearing soemthing comeing into the small den. He let out a growl not wanting to be disturbed little did he know the owner of the den was coming home to sleep. At the growl, his blue eyes narrowed and his fur ruffle. No, he couldn't attack theother. It seemed he just got into a bit of trouble and now Zuberi got the wonderful job of taking care for someone. How the hell did this happen? Oh wait... he was on guard duty that day. So he got picked by default. The guard thought of it as an amazingly stupid way of picking who got to watch the elite guard. He started to circle the white and blue male, frowning at his condition and snorted. "Shut up. You're in my den so stop growling at me or I'll put you out to rot." He hated ungrateful lions. Hell, Zuberi might as well say he hated everyone. He was an unpleasent fellow to be around, or so he'd been told once or twice. Indeed he had a mouth on him and a temper, but he'd never struck out at someone who didn't deserve it in his opinion.

Yuudai Tsu angered began to rise the male had the nerve to say such things to him. He was to tired to respound he grew quite passing out shortly after. A few days passed and some of Tsu stregnth returnd his wounds had healed over for the most part. He had been welcomed into the pride and now saw it as his home. He was making his way back to the den he had been staying at. He had a fresh kill with him he dropped it down in Zuberi favorite spot in the den. Tsu had been very observant and noticed small little detail the other male had. He then moved over to his resting area ignoring the fact he really shouldn't have he was still healing after all. There was some blood he tracted back to the den but he dind't even notice. He curled up to get some sleep and wait for the mail to return to the den. The days past and Zuberi didn't open up to the male, and he didn't want the male to open up to him. This was both of their homes, but it didn't mean he had to like the other one. He was coming back from patrolling when his nostrils caught the scent of fresh blood. Blinking at that, he put himself on alert and looked inside of his den, spotting the blood and the fresh kill. What the hell? He hated it when someone did something for him. It made him feel inadequate or something. He noticed the sleeping one and rolled his eyes before going to his spot in the small den and pushing the meat towards him. "You eat it. You're weaker than I am." Zuberi didn't even care if he just insulted the other male or anything. He was stating facts right now. The other male was recovering, therefore didn't have all his strength. Which meant that Zuberi was stronger than him paws down.

Yuudai Tsu didn't open his eyes as he didn't even move as he let out a huff sound as his respounce. He still rarely talked to the other. He was content on trying to sleep more till the other male had growled and nudged the food against him. He finally opeend his eyes and looked up at him before closing them and only nuding it back to him he wasn't interesting in eatting it anyway. "i'm fine." He finally said his voice the deep growl tone he always had. "I got it for you and you are being rude." He scolded the male as he turned over away from the male letting out a heavy sigh as he tried to sleep. He looked to the food again and rolled his eyes. Who the hell made such a big deal over meat? Whatever. He'd eat it, but he probably wouldn't like it. It looked to young, not the right flavor he liked. Tearing into the flesh, he ate quickly and nudged about half of the damn animal back at him. "Stop getting out of the den, you're not healed yet. If you get out once more I'm going to have anotherguard come out and sit here and make sure you don't get out." He wanted to comment by saying that he was being rude by staying here, but he didn't. "Just get better and go find your own damn den. That's all you need to be doing."

Yuudai He opeend his eyes rolled over and ate the rest of the meal before getting up and discarding the leftovers. He came back and floped back down in his litlte space in the den. He didn't comment on what the other had said he closed his eyes once more and tried to sleep but the dream came. They haunted him always ever since he was a young cub. He woke up in a panic and panting heavily. He looked over to the other male seeing him still sleeping soundly he stood and moved to the cave opening getting out into the slightly more open area. He looked around at the labrynth. He closed his eyes and tried tp push the iamges of the lioness pained face from his mind. It was a few hours after Yuudai had left the den did Zuberi wake up. He did it slowly. Yawning widely he let his eyes flutter open and closed before he realized something was missing. Listening, he didn't hear the sound of the other male breathing and he groaned. "Great.." Opening his eyes, it was confirmed to him and he shook his head. Why should he care? He wanted Yuudai to get out of his den so he could have it back to himself. Stretching out, he headed for the mouth of the cave and caught his scent. He was on auto pilot. It wasn't the first time he'd had to go get the damn fool. Following his scent, he yawned widely. It felt like it was still night. "Yuudai, get your a** back here." He hoped his voice would echo and cary to the male so he didn't have to walk too far.

Yuudai The male wasn't to far away he was getting a drink from one of the small water holes in the labrynth. His ears twitched as he head the male calling for him. He rolled his eyes as he pulled his face from the water and looked back to the den. He began to wounder what he should do. He finally caved and began to walk back to the den. "Thought you wanted me gone." He said bluntly thought he had been teasing with is voice it was very hard to tell. It sounded more like he was scolding him. He walked back into the den he still hadn't told the male why each night he would always wake and got out for a small walk. "I do want you gone but are you healed up enough?" It was an honest question. Some lions were babies compared to others. So this male could be one of the lions who needed longer than normal to heal up. There wasn't anything wrong with it really, but he wanted to make sure. "...Besides, it's a weird hour to be out. Come back with me and look for another place in the morning. Zuberi didn't want to admit it, but he'd miss the damn b*****d when he left. He half got used to his snoring and random noises he made in the middle of the night. It was also nice, sometimes, to not have to hunt for himself when he got off work.

Yuudai The male didn't expect that reaction he thought the other would be pleased with him gone. He closed his eyes for a moment before he began to walk home. "Come on lets go back." He said as he butted his head against the other shoulder as he moved past him back to the den. ~you never notcing me leave at night because I don't want you to know I leave.~ He thought to himself as he walked into the Den first he moved over to his small area he occupied in the den. "Get some sleep." He growled out to the other as he laid down resting his paws on his arms he didn't feel like sleeping any longer if it appeased the other he wouldlay there and wait till moring when he could stretch his legs again. The headbutt to his shoulder came as a surprise to Zuberi. Why would Yuudai headbutt him when all he seemed to do was be really sarcastic to the other male? Now he was more confused as he followed the male back to their shared den and laid back down. Stretching out, he licked his paws a little before sighing and looking him over. "Look. Why don't you just stay here? The den is big enough for both of us. I don't really see why you couldn't, other than you annoy me a little. You annoy me less than anyone else though." Great. Now he was rambling and he didn't know what to do. So he put his head down and closed his eyes, sighing. "Good night."

Yuudai He lifted his head up from his paws looking to the other with mild curiousity. First he wants him gone now he wants him. He shook his head softly letting out a small huffed sound before resting his head back on his paws. Why did he have to be so confusing. He didn't like him hunting for him but he never said no when it was offered. He didn't like going out on walks but he was always followed when he left. Now instead of wanting him gone he wanted him to stay. He smiled every so slightly as he let out a sligh chuckel as he laid on his side his tail flicking behind him. "I'll think on it." He said huskly as he closed his eyes as he began to think did he really want to leave? He had been going out and pushing himself a bit to hard...maybe subconsiously he was wanting to stay. He opened his eyes and looked to the other male a moment why did he do this to him? Make him so confused and curious at the same time. He waited for the other to sleep before he got up. ~it should be morning by now~ He thought as he padded over to the other silently. He leaned his head down he sniffed the other a few times before he licked his cheek. He wasn't to sure why but it was better then beating the other awake. When the male didn't wake he shrugged he had tried to wake him to go out with him but if he was content in sleeping well then he was content in going out alone. He got to the mouth of the den before stopping he couldn't move he looked down at his paws confused before looking back to the male. It was happened again the strange moments he couldn't explain when around the other male. He felt the licks to his cheek and sighed. Sleep had claimed him deeply. Shifting a little bit, he yawned and settled back down for sleep but didn't feel the other's warmth in the den anymore. Ugh, he didn't want to be up yet. It was an off day for him, where he didn't have a shift playing guard. He had to play nurse all day to make sure the other male stopped being such an idiot and pushing himself. Yawning, his blue eyes flicked open and he huffed. The spot Yuudai slept in was vacant and he got to his paws, stretching out before looking to the mouth of the cave. There he was. Ugh, his cheek felt wet now that he was becoming more awake. "What are you doing, Yuudai?" He asked, voice thick and gruff with sleep. He flicked his tail a little bit before moving over to the mouth of the den and sitting down, looking about at the males who had guard duty shuffling to their posts. "What are you thinking about going for a walk? Go, 's morning."

Yuudai The large male quickly looked out the mouth of the den when the toher began to wake. He didn't want to get caught staring. He looked around the outside of the den taking in the sight. Finally he turned his attention to the male beside him. "I was going to...but you gets upset if i leave while you are asleep." He pointed out before standing and walking out of the den. He walked to the exit of the Labrynth. "Are you coming to make sure I don't push myself?" He asked as he kept walking to where he could get out into the fresh air and go hunting for some food hoping with his wounds heald a bit more now he could take down a prey that the other male would enjoy eatting then feeling like he had to. He quickly pushed the questions that jumped up in his mind. Why was he waiting? Why did he want to get the male what he wanted? Why not hunt for himself? Why even ask if he is joining him? Zuberi sighed and watched the male and rolled his eyes at the questions. Why did his mind keep going back to those licks? He wasn't even sure if they were really licks. He was surprised to find a part of him hoping it was and then stretched out as he watched the other leave. "I have other things to tend to this morning. I'll meet you back here after I'm done. Hunt for only you and I'll hunt for myself." He said this nonchalantly and stretched himself out again, clawing the cave ground and groaning. He had slept so hard when he finally got to sleep. His blue eyes looked over the other male before mentally smirking and yawning. With that, he moved out of the den and walked the opposite direction as his den mate. He really did have other duties to attend to by himself today.
