xoxo Colin came from a well to do family along the West coast of the United States. He was pretty average by most standards. In high school, he got into trouble, but no more than was honestly expected of someone his age. His grades were a little above average, but nothing spectacular. He managed to get a scholarship to a local university. His family was proud that they had raised their son into a normal productive adult. Or so they thought.
Colin was very happy at school. He didn't know what he wanted to study, but school was where he felt he should be at his age. He made many friends, but they weren't the kind of friends his parents would have approved of. They introduced him to a number of bad habits, including drinking underage and smoking. After a while, he discovered the town's casino, and he began to spend more time there than studying. His grades fell, and he eventually dropped out.
Things were awkward when he first went home. His parents silently wondered what had happened to their decent son, and Colin wondered what he was here for. The drinking and smoking got worse. Colin finally realized that something had to be done. Fearing for his well-being, he decided to leave his parent's home and go somewhere. Anywhere, but preferably somewhere far away from his old life, somewhere where he could start over. After searching for a while, he found Nirvani Island. Not really knowing what to expect, he decided that the island was as good a place as any to start over again.
