xoxoHis history is pretty simple. Kevin was born to a very traditional middle class family, in a medium size city and he had average grades. His childhood and teens years were full of up and downs like everyone and nothing really important ever happened. Nothing worthy writing about, that is.
There was one thing, however, different about him than most. He was often often sick and often sent to the hospital by his parents that worried. However, after the 53 sejour at the hospital, the head of the psychiatry department annonced something to his parent. Their child was not sick nor had he ever been. He had just always lied about his sickness and fake them very well in order to skip major test at school. He was doing what, in the medical term, they call, malingering. That is, faking illness in order to bring him something.
Soon enough, his parents discover that he was doing more than just faking illness, but that he was lying about almost everything else. He was a mythoman. This, however, proved itself useful once he got out of school and went into college. Being able to lie his way into almost everything, he got himself a bachelor in history very fast. That was there were he met a very (not) charming professor called Judith Cunningham.
She realized his lying and cheating habits very quickly, but that didn't stop him from becoming one of her favourite students. Once he was done with his degree, she pushed him into law school to use his ability to it's fullest extend, where he performed wonderfully. She hired him right back as part of her legal team (god knows she had lawsuits) where he was kept busy, fending of pathetic fools trying to sue Judith. While being the youngest on her team of four, he is the one with the 2nd best court record, often using lies, deceptions and emotions to move the jury in his favour.
Moving to the island proved to be the best move of his career. A place where everything crazy that could happen actually happened, it didn't take long for him to double his annual income. After a while, he realized he actually had enough money to simply retire and watch TV all day. After that realisation, he gave his friend's wife, Ellie, a job as an intern in order to teach her all about the various case on the island. The moment she was done with her internship, he retired and offered her his old job.
Living on the island didn't only prove to be a good for his wallet, but also for his mood in general. He didn't take long into meeting various inhabitants of the island... and toy with them. Making one boy insecure with his sexuality that he was gay, conning a gullible German, making a single mother thinking he was about to ie from cancer, anything that could brighten up his day! Eventually, he became good friend with Yoakim's brother and his boyfriend as well as Benedikt, the conman he had met one summer day, beginning a relationship (albeith open) with him. Adding in that his pet pig, named after Benedikt, and his life couldn't be any better.... Well, now that he is retired, life is kin of boring, so he is always looking up for someone new to annoy.
