Life was good lately. She had been pampered and primped, snuggled and loved. She was most definitely what you would call pampered, though the Pet likely wouldnt have thought that. She'd argue till she was blue in the face, for she felt she had earned her rights in life. Prancing around the pavement of the sidewalks, she ventured a bit further into the park. Trees decorated the place, and sometimes she liked to pretend it was a large forest and she was feral and she would play as such. But she was happy that at the end of her play, she was clearly no feral, and she could go home as she pleased. With a wag of her curved tail, she couldnt help but giggle as she pranced. She wanted some fun and today, she was gonna find it. Narrowing her blue eyes she started looking around her. "Oh come on! Where is everyone?!" She sighed.

Imnir had been spending an unusual amount of time in the settlement lately, thanks to his hurt leg. Fewer fighters hung around here, so there was less risk of him having to either explain or lie about how he got his leg hurt to his competition. Not that he would ever admit that was the reason he was here, though. If anyone asked, he came around these parts so much because of his clingy human, Naomi. Simple as that.
He walked along in no particular direction, his chain collar clinking with each step, announcing his presence to anyone who cared to listen. It wasn't long before he caught the scent of another mokai in the air that was unfamiliar to him, and decided to follow it just in case it was a feral trying to sneak in again. Ever since that incident with the shadowy mokai, the thought of ferals getting in and causing trouble made his fur bristle.
His ears perked up as he heard someone giggle not too far from him, and it seemed to be the same mokai he was following the scent of, too.
"Everyone is right here, little one." He smiled and strode up to her, not bothering to hide the limp on his back right leg. "Everyone that matters, anyway." He looked slightly surprised as he realized that this mokai was in fact not a pup, but rather a pet. He had never met a pet before.
"The name is Imnir." He said, laying down a few feet from the little mokai. "And just what is someone like you doing out and about here?"

It didn't take long for the clinking of the chain to hit her ears, and she found herself pausing to listen closer. She smelled someone approaching, and she worried that maybe, just maybe, this Mokai was coming to hurt her. She had met many others, culls, and fighters.. and some of the fighters wanted nothing more than to fight, and the culls to steal. She didnt blame them for their lot in life, but she certainly didn't want to be -tied- to one.
She squealed, turning quickly on her paws as she looked at the fighter that stepped out of nowhere it seemed. She hadn't realized how close he was. That was a dangerous mistake to make. She gulped, and her ears flicked back as she watched him. He sure was cocky, but maybe thats how all the fighters were. The last she had met had been..
"Im not little." She frowned, but when she realized he probably didn't know that, her frown dissappeared. She cocked her head, looking him over. She noticed his scars, and that limp he walked with had her curious. But for now she held her tongue.
"Im Lassie. And Im exploring." She replied.
"What are you doing around these parts?" She asked curiously.

Imnir laughed heartily, "You are little to me." He teased, she obviously wasn't the sort of mokai he had to worry about keeping his guard up around, not in the slightest. "Not to worry though, everyone is little to me. Even the other fighters." Maybe they were comparable in size to him, but nowhere near big enough in strength or fighting spirit. Not that they didn't try, but they just couldn't keep up. Poor things.
"Exploring? Isn't that dangerous?" He knew that it wasn't, but he felt like having a little fun. "I mean, there could be a fighter around that isn't as nice as I am. I may be the biggest and the strongest, but I'm also the best at playing nice with pets like you." He flicked his tail and licked his fangs, hoping that Lassie would appreciate his greatness better than some of the other mokai.
Imnir tilted his head, "Why, I was just heading back to my stall in the compound when I heard you talking and laughing. Sounded interesting, so I came over to investigate. I'm glad I did." He said with a sly wink.

"Maybe you are just too big." She huffed, but she knew now she was just being petty. Being little wasn't bad unless what you did while little was bad. She watched him curiously, her eyebrows arching when he spoke. He had a much deeper voice than many of the Pet Mokai she had run across in her lifetime. "I'll take your word for it. I'm not too comfortable around some fighters. They are so angry all the time. I've never been able to make friends with one." She nodded, her little mane tuft falling in her eyes. She wasn't really cautious around this guy anymore, but that was likely because she was incredibly interested in learning about him now.
"It can be. It has been for me many times, but I can't seem to keep myself from doing it. Hopefully I'll be smarter about it now." She added, though she would have scoffed if it wouldn't have given away her true thoughts. She still hadn't been smarter about any of it.
"I'm not very interesting though." She replied, cocking her head.
