What does it mean to "tip" a post? Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

It's a good thing. It's the Gaia version of FB "liking" the post xD They get some gold when you tip the post smile

Also realize that if you tip a post - you are giving the person 25 gold from your gold count. It isn't just a magical button that gives the person gold from no where. That would be so abused.
Also - I wish we could tip posts in guilds!!!! scream
