Fav. Food: He particularly likes sweet foods, and keeps off the weight all that sugar would give him through vigorous LARPing sessions.
Hated Food: Anything that is actually healthy for him.
Hobbies:
LARPing - It is the closest Anders can get to making his fantasies a reality. He and a dedicated group of his friends, Hawke included, LARP Dragon Age every weekend. This may also be why he doesn't have a job, between school and LARPing he has no time to fit anything else into his schedule!
Seamstress - Someone has to make authentic looking clothes for when he and Hawke go LARPing, and since he wouldn't trust Hawke with a needle it is up to him to save the day. Over the years he has gotten remarkably good at it, mostly because he puts in a good chunk of time into making his outfits and outfits for the other LARPers. Right now he is working on his perfect Anders outfit after the Justice Quest in Act 3.
Virtues:
Dedicated -- After putting so much of his free time into LARPing and the preparation for it, to say that Anders is dedicated is almost an understatement. But, this attribute spreads further than just LARPing. Anders is dedicated to school, and is an excellent student. While he may not get straight As, he turns in all of his homework, is in class early, and doesn't skip school unless he feels like he is on his deathbed.
Easy to Please -- Anders is generally a happy person, and even the slightest bit attention paid to him makes him happy. Do you want to hang out? He will hang out! Hardly anyone other than Hawke asks him to. If someone screws his McDonald's order up, he doesn't mind. He's happy to much on his cheeseburgers even if they have onions on them.
Comfortable -- He's perfectly happy to just be himself. Anders isn't concerned with what other people may think of him. People may not like him for it, and he may not have as many friends as he would like, but he's certainly not going to up and change himself to fit in with the popular kids. He likes being Anders, and nothing is going to change that.
Flaws:
Weird -- It would be a lie to say that he doesn't come off a little... unusual. In his close knit circle of friends he is the very definition of normal, but to everyone else he is undeniably weird. He isn't afraid to brag about his elite LARPing skills, loves to show off all the outfits he's made, and talks about fandoms that other teenagers may simply not know of. He is so comfortable with himself that he doesn't care what other people think, and that unfortunately casts a poor image around him. At least Hawke thinks he's pretty cool.
Obsessive -- Anders has the tendency to discover something likes, and then talk endlessly about it. Oh hey this band is totally ******** awesome and I have to tell you anything and everything about them. Have you played Dragon Age? It ******** rocks. Swooping is bad. Before Dragon Age 2 came out, Anders and Hawke were parading around as Alistair and Morrigan, and before that they had leeched onto numerous fandoms over the past years. Needless to say, if he likes something, he is going to go on and on and on about it until someone wants to smack him.
Jealous -- Anders has difficulty making friends, and so the ones that he does make he holds on to vigorously. He is prone to fits of jealousy when his friends find new people to hang out with, and will claim that they are abandoning him and leaving him behind for someone more cool. His attitude can turn absolutely sour when someone new is introduced into his close circle of friends, and it takes a lot of coaxing and a helluva lot more time to convince Anders that the new kid isn't around to swipe his friends from him.
