Dingergisbar, what a unusual name she thought to herself as she walked steadily through the rogue lands in search of something to do. It seemed like it had been forever since she had left home to prove herself worthy of her name. Something about it seemed to hold great power and almost something unattainable. At least that was the way she saw it. Maybe she thought that only because it was so long and just plain unusual. Her parents pride members had certainly thought her name was unusual because their's was usually no more then six letters unless they were from nobility, which she certainly was not. Dinger shook her head. Ever since coming to these unknown lands she had been searching for a place where she could make a name for herself and hopefully also call that place home one day. But as of yet she hadn't found anything that would fit with her.

A loud sigh escaped from her lips as she looked up at the bright sun above. Why was finding this place so hard? It should almost be ingrained in her bones as to where she should go to find the home of her fantasies. But then again, she didn't have the first clue where to even begin as there were many prides in the area and all of them with different views and rituals. She needed some place that would give her the freedom to do whatever she wanted and no one would really care how she went about it so long as she was contributing. "Where is it?" She asked herself quietly, lowering her head. While being on the rogue lands she had come across quite a few lions and found herself sticking out like a sore paw in the green and sandy landscape. Yet another flaw within herself that frustrated her to no end. How was she supposed to sneak up on dinner if it could see her coming from two miles away?

Sighing once more she laid down where she stood which was in the middle of nowhere. There was absolutely nothing around, no plants or watering holes or animals. She knew that she would need to get going soon or else it would be to dark to really travel. Not that she couldn't see in the dark. She just simply hated being awake when the sun wasn't shining brightly above her. It made seeing things much easier, that was for certain. Her tummy lightly grumbled in protest to her not continuing on to find something to eat, but she simply laid there uncaring about her own health or safety.

The prey hung from his maw. It had been an easy kill for a gazelle especially when it had been a sick and lost one at that. How it had gotten so lost he had no idea, but it was lucky for him since he was pretty hungry. Not enough to finish the whole thing, but enough to suffice the hunger crawling around his stomach. As he munched though he could smell something above the blood of his victim, another lioness.

"Ahoy there." He called out, her red form just barely visible. "What're ye doin' out 'ere all alone?" Padding up to her but keeping an eye out on his food. "Ye look like ye 'ave been travelin' a lot. Hungry?" Cythraul asked. A damsel in distress? He was all ready to help.

"What?" She said a little bit louder then she had intended as she raised her head to look around for where the voice had called to her from. As her head turned to the right she saw a very dark male with wings on his back feasting on a gazelle. It appeared to her that the poor thing barely had enough meat to it's name, but it wouldn't be the first time she was fooled by an object of prey. Dinger stood up, gingerly walking over to the male and putting herself just a couple inches from him and his meal. As she sat down she looked him over once more, making sure to take in all the details she could of his pelt. It was not every day she met someone and especially one with such odd markings as this one. "I'm trying to find a place to call home. Some place I can grow into." Dinger replied.

"To be honest, I haven't been traveling that long. But I've taken few breaks since starting this journey." She said with a light hearted laugh. Her eyes bulged a bit at him asking her if she was hungry. "I'm starved!" Dinger said with a grin, hoping now that he would share his meal with her. And who had told her males in the rogue lands only wanted to capture lionesses and get them pregnant? Dingergisbar thought to herself as she waited for the males response. "What are you doing out here all alone? Are you looking for something too?" Her eyes asked him questioningly. "And, what does 'ahoy' mean?" She asked, not hiding her confusion.

She's was rather plain, but she had a spirit Cythraul could tell. She had even gotten close, placing her within his reach and if he were a psycotic killer he had just lured her close enough to kill her. A strong male lion could kill a lioness pretty easily, but he wasn't about to kill her. Not if he wanted her to come with him. Maybe not knock her up, at least not yet, but definitely take her home. She wanted one and he could give her one.

"It mean 'ello." He responded, "Eat yer fill. I'm not as 'ungry as I thought. Ye need a 'ome, I can take ya ta mine. Ma pride is 'omey." He wouldn't go into much detail about it as of yet, he wanted her to get to know him a little and him to know her. "What kind of home ye lookin' fer?"

Dinger wasn't exactly one to be afraid about her own safety when it came to males or anyone else for that matter. She was fairly confident in her fighting abilities and was positive that anyone that tried to fight her would have a bit of a challenge on their paws. Not to say she could beat anyone and everyone out there. But she could probably at least get herself away from whoever it was that was trying to attack her without to serious of injuries. Thankfully she didn't get that vibe from this male. Although, she wasn't paying to much attention to vibes at the moment. Her belly was more worried about it's next meal.

Wow this male had a odd way of talking. But something about that made him interesting to her. She had certainly never met anyone that was so, so, unique before. "You would take me to your home?" Dinger asked with a head tilt, not quite understanding why he had invited her so quickly. "You're in a pride!?" She exclaimed with a smile. "I left my, well sort of pride I was raised in because I wanted to make a name for myself." Dinger responded. "I suppose one I could do that in would be nice. I also like to take care of others." Her eyebrows lifted up slightly as a sign that she was trying to find the right words for what exactly she was looking for. "What about you? What made you choose your pride as your home?" She asked.

Why would he take her home? Well there were a slew of reasons, he wanted his group of women that would please him. He needed to start with one and move on. He wanted to have males to contribute to his King, more hands would be good. Someone to watch his treasure when he was out raiding. The list went on. However he let her finish before he answered her questions, "Why would I want ta take ye 'ome? Ya look like a 'ard worker. Ye can contribute ta the pride."

What made him choose his pride? "The water. The sea." He answered. The sea was something that felt like home and he wandered the beaches as a cub. "That's what drew me in. Pillagin' and plunderin' ain't so bad either." He added.

A hard worker? She liked that the male had seen that in her, it certainly gave her self-esteem a bit of a boost. "Well I would like to be of use to someone." Dinger replied with a smile. Then her curiosity gave way once more. "May I ask, what do you do for your pride exactly?" She asked, leaning forward slightly. If Dinger was being honest, she was very interested in this male and his pride. And the thought of possibly having a home to call her own where she could do something for others, well that just added to it. "I've never been to the sea." Her reply was honest. In fact, she had never been within 100 meters of the ocean and really wasn't sure what it would even look like. Sure she had heard of it from others back in her old pride but she had never seen it for herself. Therefore, she couldn't really go by ear say.

"Plunderin'. Pillagin'." She said lightly. "So you go around taking things from others that your pride needs." Dinger added. That was certainly something different. She had never heard of a pride that had done that. Dinger was actually perfectly fine with the notion of taking what you need from others if you really needed it. In fact, she would gladly support a pride that did so. "I like the sounds of your pride."

Cythraul realized he had never gotten this lioness' name before. "Cythraul is my name out 'ere. In my pride I be called Du Serpentis, but ye can call me Serpentis. Yer name?" Trying to get on name basis before he took her home with him, "Ye would like da sea. She's beautiful yet dangerous as all get out." The fact she liked the pride made him smile a tad, "I be a first mate. I keep others in line fer me captain, me commodore."

One could put it they took things they needed, but it wasn't just what they needed, it was what they wanted. "A pirates life fer me." he hummed.

"Dingergisbar. But you can call me Dinger." She said with a pleasant smile, trying her best not frighten him away with just how long and complicated her name was. Her eyes lit up a bit when he began to talk about the sea and what role he played within the pride. She was beyond amazed with this male and his pride, something she didn't usually willingly admit off the bat. "You're pride sounds pretty cool." Dinger replied with a large grin now decorating her muzzle. "Although, I think getting all the roles down might give me a headache." She laughed, trying to get him to do the same. His lack of answering her question made her curious as to what it might mean, but she figured maybe things were not that simple within his pride.

"Dingergisbar. I be likin' that name, Dinger." Giving her a grin as he stepped closer to her. "Aye, me pride is the life. Gettin' ta know the ranks is all part of bein' there. Ye will learn them soon enough." He did however laugh, it had been interesting for him to learn it, but she'd get it. "I say we be on our way. It be a long travel from 'ere to there. Then we may stuff our bellies full on the way ta the seas."

Bringing home another member felt right. Besides Dinger seemed the kind of girl who needed an interesting life and what life was more interesting than a pirates?
