Personality: Alexandria Olstein is a very friendly, calm woman. She is helpful and caring, she fears more for the safety of others than she does for herself. She is selfless and hard working. At times she can be quiet, or even sheepish, but it's simply because she is nervous. She likes to relax when she has a bit of down time, but is focused when faced with her duties. She isn't aggravated very often, but she is firm and assertive when she must be. She will do anything to protect the members of her squad. She can be gullible and even shy at times, but she has a warm, kind heart.

Dislikes: Conflict within the Soul Society, cold weather.

Biography: Alexandria was born into poverty, living on the streets in the slums of a busy city. She was forced to fend for herself at the age of eight when her parents were stabbed and killed in a mugging, having to witness it all and go on with her life. By twelve she was a known beggar. She was always disliked by the children in the surrounding neighborhood; Alexandria couldn't see a week without being beaten up by other kids. This causes Alexandria to be sheepish and quiet at times. The following winter after she turned 13, Alexandria died from hypothermia.

Alexandria lived with commoners for a few years after entering the Soul Society. One day during her shift at a supply shop, hollows invaded the soul society and attacked the area. As villagers ran away in fear, a large hollow cornered Alexandria into an alleyway. Knowing she was trapped, Alexandria was terrified. As the hollow let out a fierce roar, Alexandria felt a rush of sudden panic, her reiatsu went wild. Under stress, the pressure of her reiatsu was now crippling, sending the hollow to the ground with crushing force. When soul reapers (shinigamis) had finally arrived to slay the hollows, they had trouble walking through the force of Alexandria's reiatsu. She could only regain power over her reiatsu after she'd calmed down. Soul reapers then escorted her to the training program.
Over time, Alexandria could be considered at the middle of her class, unable to control her reiatsu when frightened or under stress. It took her many years to finally control herself, but she still slips up at times. She graduated as the fourth best in her class. She fought hard for her position as lieutenant of squad 10, admiring the captain for his calm composure in stressful situations.

When in fear, she has a chance of losing control of her reiatsu.
Alexandria dislikes wintry weather and being cold. "It brings back bad memories." she says.
She has a soft spot for birds.
She has white gauze wrapped around her palms (covering about two inches) to catch her knives safely. The gauze is worn and slightly tattered.

Other: She has fair skin with lightly rosy cheeks. Her cheeks blush to a deep pink when she's shy or embarrassed.

It has black gauze wrapped around the handle to serve as a grip. The blade is six inches wide and 1'3" (a foot and three inches) long. The grip is three inches in circumference.
Zanpakuto attributes: Healing/Kido type.
Zanpakuto spirit: Makki is a large Chinese dragon with pearl-like scales. She is very old and battle experienced. She speaks through telepathy in a strong, confident voice.

Thank you. I originally made the character in my journal to join another guild with. Her full name would be Alexandria Ruby Olstein but the original design of the character was to be a bratty heiress of a royal family; Ruby fit the name for that design, but the lieutenant is more of a kind character. I won't give her a middle name.
Could you help me? Could you explain everything in skills and explain to me what shikai and bankai are and tell me what zanpakuto unity is?
