Albireo was laying on a rooftop this evening, enjoying the cool breeze blowing across her. To tell the truth, it was chilly, almost downright cold, but…it was peaceful. She closed her eyes and let out a sigh, rubbing at an arm. She was tired. Really, really tired. And all she kept thinking of was her conversation with Zinkenite. He was the only one from the Negaverse that had seemed interested in talking. But…in talking to him, she seemed…to be having doubts about what the Senshi’s goals were…
Right now her biggest goal was to try and get to her…her homeworld, and see the…the destruction that might be there. The destruction that she didn’t want to find. She wanted to prove him wrong.
She wanted to be an exception. Wanted proof that the Senshi weren’t just…here to mess Earth up too. With a sigh, the senshi rolled over, hugging the blanket she had brought. Tonight was just a relaxation night for her. That was all she wanted. Time to think.

Jarosite was having trouble sleeping. He'd lie awake for hours, staring at the starseed in his pocket. He'd roll it between his fingers and he couldn't stop staring at it until he'd close his eyes for a second and wake up to his alarm, still powered up, hours later.
Tonight the Negaverse agent was too tired to do any energy stealing, or senshi fighting. He wanted to listen to the wind and be calm. He traveled to his usual rooftop, taking a notice in the power signature there. He stood at the edge of the roof for a moment, watching her.
Albiero.
He felt oddly unsurprised he'd run into her, again. It just kept happening. Maybe... maybe he was supposed to bring her to his side. Nah that was rediculous.
"Yo... Don't get your panties in a twist, I'm not here to fight you. Too damn tired for that s**t right now..." he said as he walked towards her and took a seat on the edge of the roof closer to her. He let out a heavy sigh as he sat down, head towards the sky.
On instinct a hand fell into his pocket and he stroked the star seed inside it. It wouldn't be good to show her that... yeah...

Albireo sat up, looking at Jarosite, scowling slightly. “I see.” She didn’t believe him, but…she didn’t really….care that much she supposed. She wasn’t in the mood to fight either. Why did he want to interrupt her solitude? It wasn’t fair. Couldn’t she get a moment’s piece?
“Even if you had wanted to fight, Jarosite, If I do recall…I kicked your a** the last time we met.” Her voice was smug, remembering that fight with a sort of fondness. It had made her quite a bit more confident, regardless of the consequences.
Laying back down, Albireo sighed. “If you didn’t come to fight, what do you want, hm? Come to talk about your girlfriend again? You two okay now?” What a stupid conversation…why did she bring that up? It didn’t matter if things were okay with him or not. Why should she bother caring?

He rolled his eyes at her. "You only beat my a** because you had help. That's what pisses me off the most about you senshi. You never do s**t yourself, with your barehands. You fight with magic and behind other people.." he grumbled, running a hand through his hair. It was getting long again, hanging down into his eyes and collecting in the back of his collar. He needed to get it cut soon, or at least cut the front. Which would leave him with a mullet... joy.
He skimmed over the question about his girlfriend and asked a different one. "Answer me this, Swany. Why do you fight for a princess no one has ever seen? Why does she hide behind the masses of you instead of fighting herself?" He looked at her through his grown out bangs and awkwardly parted them so he could see her better. That was the one thing he couldn't understand. At least he fought for real human (well, you couldn't really count Tanzanite as human...) beings. Fighting for a princess you've never ********' seen didn't make sense.

Albireo frowned, then looked over at him. “I didn’t have help fighting you. I fought you for my own reasons, not for some Princess that I’ve never even heard about.” She had explained this to Zink, and she found herself almost repeating the same words to Jarosite now. Huh. She almost seemed like she was trying to prove something to herself, though wasn’t sure what she could be trying to prove.
“I’m not fighting for a Princess, I’m fighting for my boyfriend, and myself. I never asked for this. I was walking home one day and was attacked by one of your nega friends, and a stupid cat told me I was a senshi. I’m not fighting for a princess…nobody told me about her. Honestly, Jarosite, I don’t care about any Princess…at least I don’t think I do. I’m fighting to protect my friends and people close to me so they don’t end up dead or in the hospital. Or just plain missing. And so far as I know, none of my friends have, so I think I’m doing a damn good job.” She seemed tense, on edge about something.
A princess? A cowardly Princess…she would have to ask someone about this …if and when she ever managed to talk to another senshi for more than a few seconds.

"Then, what makes your side the right one? Because those of us in the Negaverse drain energy from civilians? Not all of your skirted comrades are saints." He glanced up at the stars for a moment before smiling ever so slightly.
"What are you trying to prove?" he said softly, as though the edge in her voice had told him more than words had. A silver eye slid over to her and he waited for her response.

"I didn't choose my side, Jarosite. It was a join or die type situation. Honestly...there are times where I wish I wouldn't have become a senshi. But, other times when I'm glad I can. I can protect people from those damn youmas." She shivered as she remembered the one that had been going to attack Merric...that was one time that she was so very glad she had the power to be a senshi...she protected him, and protected him well.
"I'm not trying to prove anything. I'm only trying to protect. And what about you? What about your girlfriend? How long until your nega pals drain her? Until a youma slices her up? What if you go to take her on a date one day, and find her one of the 'missing'? Did you ever think of that, Jarosite? Why do you fight? Why do you think your side is the right one?"

He gritted his teeth, trying to not snarl at her. Grey eyes flashed with anger for a moment and his hand tightened around the startseed in his pocket. "She will never be touched so long as I ********' live. I will harm anyone and anything, youma be damned, that tries to touch her or my family." His voice was low but deadly and there was no question that he meant it completely. No one would every touch Odette so long as he lived and he would destroy anyone who tried, senshi or negaverse.
"I fight for her. To protect her. And I'm not going to let a fake princess take that fight away from me. Ever." He looked her dead in the eyes as he spoke, silver eyes blazing with emotion. There was no lie in his eyes, nor in his heart.

Albireo watched him, then gave a little smile. "Man, she must really be lucky to have you. Take good care of her, okay, Jarosite." The senshi gave a little sigh, then shook her head. "You know, sometimes I think this war is really, really stupid..."
The girl seemed faraway at that moment, looking away from him, staring up at the stars. "Do you know anything about...Senshi's having home worlds that they once lived on? Someone...told me that...they were all destroyed...That...we--us in our past lives destroyed them. Why would I ever want to destroy a place that I lived? I don't get it..."

He chuckled softly at her and fell silent for a moment. A brow raised at the mention of senshi planets. He thought for a moment.
"I only know of one, of a senshi who gave it to Chaos. I've never been there however. Perhaps your past lives were selfish, and wanted no other civilization to steal your ideas and technology. I dunno though.
"Maybe the only way you'll find out is if you go there. How, I got no idea - I don't have a planet, star, floating space object - but maybe you have to go and find out for yourself." He shrugged after he spoke, watching her quietly for moment. He could use the whole 'insecure about senshi s**t' as a way to lure her to the dark side... if he really wanted to. He was still unsure of that.

Albireo nodded. “Yeah. I’m going to figure out how to get there. One thing I don’t understand. You Negaverse guys are pissed at us for what we did in the past, hm? You…you know, I’m not who I was in the past. I have no control of who I was…and I don’t think…that who I was has anything to do with who I am now. I’m me. I’m…Sailor Albireo by night, and someone else by day…I’m like, a retarded batman. I’m Swan Man….er..Swan woman.
She looked over to him and laughed. “I don’t get why people focus on the…on the past…” Woah woah woah. How could she even say something like that? She loved learning about the past…learning about the mistakes…judging people from the past…she was rather judgmental of things…that some people had done…so why would the Negaverse be any different. The senshi fell quiet, her smile gone, a small frown on her face. Ugh. Did she just…connect somehow with what they had been talking about? She wasn’t a very good senshi if that was the case…

"The past? Maybe the older Generals. I could care less what you people did in the past; I wasn't alive then either, now was I? I care more about what the senshi are doing now and why you all insist we're the bad guys." He snorted at her "Swan Man" comment.
"Swany I'm going to forever call you Swan Man now. Best nickname ever." He chuckled and grinned at her before looking at the sky again. He pulled the star seed out of his pocket and held it in his hand, where she very well could see if she was pay attention. He didn't even think about it, just did.
He really shouldn't be doing this, talking to her. Who knew where General-King Zinkinite's spies were, or who they were watching. He couldn't help it though. It was nice to just talk with the senshi for once. Even if they were completely misled.

Albireo laughed again, then nodded. "All right. Call me Swan Man if you want. Man, I should make myself a Swan Signal...Huh. that would be fun. And, Jarosite, the only reason I think you all are the bad guys...is you always try and kill me when I see you. If it's not someone shoving a hand into my chest, then I'm getting punched with a damn guitar pick, or being thrown into a trash can. You guys aren't making a good name for yourselves.
A glint of something caught her attention and she glanced down to his hand, brows furrowing slightly. "What...what's that? In your hand, Jarosite? What is that...?"
She frowned, eyes all but glued to it. A part of her, that nagging part in the back of her mind told her not to ask, told her she didn't want to know, but...she did want to know. ...She thought she might already know..

"Hey now, I'm just trying to make sure you don't get in my way or hit me first," he said with a smirk to the senshi. His eyes drifted down to the seed he'd taken out of his pocket. So she noticed it. He held it in his hand, pinched between his thumb and index finger, and lifted it so she could see it clearer.
"This, is a star seed."
No other explanation was given. Simply what it was.

The senshi stared at the gem like thing, her chest aching as she looked at it. A hand rubbed her chest as if to dispel the phantom pain that had reared up, but couldn't do much to help.
"And...where...did you get a star seed, Jarosite...?" She almost didn't want to hear the answer. Surly... someone who just wanted to protect his girlfriend...he wouldn't have killed...but he was violent...Very violent...
Her other hand started reaching out for it, almost with a mind of its own. He shouldn't have such a thing. He shouldn't...be touching it. Violating it.
