He'd gotten what he'd wanted, he should be happy. He wasn't though. He was home, which was good, but they had lost. The pain he'd felt at the loss, at knowing the senshi had defeated them was more than he could handle. He'd spent the first night curled in the bottom of the bathroom letting the shower water beat down upon his body as he thought back on it all, the fighting and the loss only for it to be turned into renewed hope and then to final and sudden loss. He'd clutched at his chest as it tightened under the onslaught of emotions as he thought about the final battle, the final loss.
It had been an hour, maybe two hours, later that he'd exited the bathroom and offered an excuse to his parents for his absence - he was at a new friend’s house. It was bought and to explain the scratch on his head he'd told them the little sibling had accidentally hit him in the head with a door. It had again been bought, no questions asked. If anything his parents made things easy on him, which he needed desperately. Though perhaps he could have used their questions or care but he knew it wouldn’t come to him, they hadn’t a clue what he’d been through. How could they know?
He’d skipped school on Monday, unable to leave the pile of sheet and comforter he’d curled up under to sleep the previous night. He’d tried to sleep but had spent the night tossing and turning. The same had happened come Tuesday night, and before that he’d zombie walked about the house unwilling and unwanting to leave it. Alexandre claimed a busy time at his friends, and extreme exhaustion, as the cause to his currant state of being. He knew his parents would start to question him soon, they had to.
Tuesday night he had to go out, he couldn’t stay at home. He needed to get away, to let his thoughts consume him and he couldn’t do it at home. There was a need to be out as his second identity and to think on the actions he’d performed in his second form. For a moment he wondered if this was what a person with mpd was like, thinking of doing things as their other self and referring to it as such…as a separate entity. But he needed the distance right now, more than ever. The horror of his actions had come crashing down upon him while he’d tried to sleep. His mind supplied images of unseeing, fixed, eyes gazing up at a ceiling or at a starry sky, the stars reflected in their dead depths.
As he got further and further from home, by walking, he made a stop for an espresso once he got into the city. From there a turn down a dark alley and then he was up to the roof tops and sitting on a ledge, one leg drawn to his chest while his hands cradled the hot cup of liquid which he sipped. The leg which wasn’t drawn to his chest, his right leg, dangled over the roofs ledge limply.
As the cup was brought away from his lips he cast his wet slate colored eyes skyward, toward the stars. “What have I become….?” A whisper carried away on the cool autumn breeze, as it went unanswered. He didn’t have the answer for the question.

He hadn't bothered to answer the question for help in the Surrounding. He'd seen so many of the senshi going up there and all he could think was that they weren't even bothering to leave some behind to make sure that the youma threat on Earth was kept in check. So he'd stayed and he'd missed whatever great feat of War had happened. He was starting to hear back what had happened bit it just seemed like more of the same to him. Negaverse and Senshi and trying to kill each other and failing.
So he was still on patrol like he enjoyed being. He'd expected the Negaverse to stay hidden away for a while while they licked their wounds so it came as a surprise as he felt one of them in the city. He'd crept across the roofs before hearing a familiar voice. The power was wrong though ... which meant that Beni had gotten stronger.
"You've become what you said you wanted." Which he still through was wrong but Beni seemed to think it was right no matter what he said anyway.

As he turned, toward a familiar voice, windswept ash blond hair moved across his face. He didn't bother to move his hair away, not right now. Let it cover his eyes as it wished, so much the better for him right now. It served a purpose. "And how is it you suppose that, when you haven't a clue as to what my question refers to?" Eloquent and well worded as usual.
The leg which had been dangling came up as he stood slowly and with his hot drink in his gloved hands he jumped lightly off the roofs edge and onto the flat of the roof top. "You haven't a single clue as to what I have and have no become, aside from what your senses tell you." He wasn't in a good mood, less then kind in his choice of words and the tone in which he spoke. They were pretty words but with a slight bite to them, a certain bitterness.
"Though do remind me, what was it I'd said I wanted to become. I fear with the mass kidnapping I cannot remember." Such was the failure of his own mind, to forget little details, when under the stresses he'd been under as of late.

"Someone's not in a good mood." He looked slightly surprised that Beni wasn't being the usually slightly friendly self that he was when they'd met. Something must have happened and it apparently involved kidnapping.
Right, that group of civilians that had gone missing. "I can guess though. It's not really that hard to figure out what the Negaverse wants individuals to become from what i've seen and heard of them. So if you're working with them you must want it." He still thought Beni would do better fighting on his side. He still didn't get a damn thing the Negaverse went on about.
"Can't say i know much about the missing civilians though. Not my thing and someone had to stay here and clean up all the youma your cohorts left."

"Yes, of course. You still enjoy killing youma." He still had a huge issue with that, he disliked it perhaps more than he had previous to tonight - previous to getting the claw of the great youma. He had more respect for them, how could he not seeing the power they possessed?
A tight smile on his face and a finishing, long, sip of espresso before the cup was set down on the roof top, he bent to do this. Standing back up slowly, his hair gently brushed aside and out of his eyes. Cold, cold and dark like wet slate.
"What do we want individuals to become? What do you senshi believe we seek? What do I want?" He questioned. Slow and purposeful steps were taken toward the other. The front of his boots followed by the slow and drawn out tap of his heel. His arms now crossed of his chest loosely, a single right hand digit tapping at his left arm. The Captain didn't bother to answer the others comment about his mood, it was pointless not to mention it was a comment and not a question.
"You really shouldn't be so presumptuous by assuming we all want the same thing. It's rather annoying, just like most things which fall from the mouths of you senshi." He'd honestly had enough of that from senshi and knights alike. They all seemed to have the same opinions. They did get told the same thing by those cats or was there like a 'welcome to being a senshi' packet and a similar one for knights?

"Aren't you being a bit presumptions yourself in assuming what i'm going to say what we think you want is the same thing you always here?" His smirk hadn't faltered even with the other coming closer to him. He could tell Beni was stronger but something told him that the other boy woulnd't actually hurt him. Not after their conversation about him joining the other. You didn't hurt valuable assets right?
"Not all of us get told anyway. Some of us have to actually find out ourselves and from what i've seen all you want is to cause chaos. That's all i've seen." If he'd actually seen one of them do something good or useful he might have a different opinion. "I haven't seen -you- do it yet but every time something bad happens it's because the negaverse or some power that feels the same dark way is behind it. Maybe you want more than that but if there is something more than you're going about it the wrong way." He shrugged slightly. "And just so you know. Just like you always think senshi are going to automatically dislike you and be presumptuous ... you guys do the same thing."

"Mmm. Perhaps, but that just means I'm as human as you. I'm just pointing out a fact." He stated. He wouldn't deny his own nature and who he was. He knew he was presumptuous, he was a lot of things and would admit to all of them if questioned about any of them.
"Oh? So does that mean you believe we kidnapped hose people? Seeing as that was not exactly a good thing." He questioned, staring at the other waiting to see what he'd answer. It seemed like the answer would be important, he'd even stopped moving and stood waiting and watching. His finger still moved but other wise he stood with his weight shifted to one side.
"Yes, a war where both sides paint the other in such a close, tight, stroke of a brush." Both sides did the same thing, made assumptions and worked based on those, a terrible error really. But one which he tried to operate under, only changing when the senshi he dealt with was different. He'd rather operate in the safe area and work on assumption than get his a** handed to him because he thought a senshi would be nice and finding out they weren't. He liked safe, it worked. It helped a little with handling the fact he'd killed.
"What we want, what I want, is those senshi seeking the Queen of the Moon...to give up and leave Earth. I want this war to end and senshi off this planet, back to where there souls came from." It had to have been the senshi which had come first, he'd come to believe that. They had come first and the power which inhabited every member of the Negaverse had rose up to fight the senshi which were awakening. So it was senshi's fault for this war, for him joining and his currant predicament. But he still would bring any senshi to his side if he could.
"Though I do believe an exception can be made, for those senshi who change sides...who help us in our fight for freedom."

"I don't know what happened to those people and honestly .. i'm not sure i really care." He shrugged again. "I had nothing to do with it. If your people did then that's your problem to deal with." He had enough of space going back to his own home and dealing with the feelings and memories that brought up. He didn't need to be going somewhere else and having more problems. Except for his home the dredges of outer space wasn't his territory.
Hearing what Beni thought was odd though. "Do you really think that? You honestly think that whatever is fueling you is going to stop just at getting us off this planet? I thought better of you." Something that was powerful enough to create youma and give the Negaverse the powers they had couldn't want just one planet. Beni didn't watch enough television.
"We were created to protect you know." He looked up at the stars for a moment. "Every civilization has someone like me, makes me wonder if Earth didn't at one point have one too. We were created to protect the universe from threats. I don't know who or what the White Moon is or who their Queen is but i do know i was given this ability to protect Arachne's home and something destroyed it. So I, or Sailor Arachne, was given a new home. And you want to take that away from me?"

"We did, in the end, but not with bringing those civilians up there. We just....brought the war up there for a brief period." He disliked that they'd lost, the youma was dead and they'd been thrown from the surrounding with such ease. It was something to be angry about, as well as upset over. Next time they needed to win, to make up for this and to show the senshi they shouldn't think so highly of themselves. Too many seemed to think just that of themselves.
"Our goal is that, to remove senshi from the Earth. We want here, Earth. It is our planet after all." Why would they want space? Space wasn't there's to have, it wasn't where they came from or lived. "Why do you think we want space? Space is for the Dark Mirror Court and you senshi to have. As far as I'm aware our concern is here, strictly so." And for some that meant killing the senshi. For himself it meant bringing them to the Negaverse's side...or maybe the Dark Mirror, they were just as good of an option. Leto he was sure would like it if he helped, in some fashion, with recruiting for her court.
"I'm aware, of your purpose. I've also been told it's because you senshi got involved in the war between here and the White Moon's Queen that your planets went the way they did. You left, to fight here. Something in the end you'll wind up doing here - bring the Earth to ruin." Another truth he'd been told, the senshi had ruined their own home worlds, how utterly pathetic and tragic. they should be focusing on rebuilding in whatever fashion they could.
"That is why I believe senshi should give up what they fight for and join us, protect the Earth and all it's people...or join the Dark Mirror Court, be our allies and work toward returning to your home world and fixing what you can. I don't fancy the idea of killing." The last sentence came out odd, his eyes shifting in expression.
"It's why I plan to woo you to our side, or if you please I can contact one of the Dark Mirror's senshi, I'm on quite good terms with one of their senshi." An offer made with a smile in place.

It was so odd hearing the different stories. The senshi and the Negaverse were told the same thing but with a slightly different twist to it. He'd always know words had powers beyond imagination but seeing it was amazing. The power whoever told the Negaverse their dribble must be one hell of a orator. "You guys still don't get it. The only reason we started being born here again is because of you, well the Negaverse. If you hadn't shown up we wouldn't be needed. You created us." He wasn't sure that was true but it made sense to him. Why else would the senshi have been reborn but to combat the Negaverse.
"No, you see. you're aware of the purpose of the senshi according to those who feed you power you shouldn't have. That's all. You don't know what we really are because you've been told differently and you choose to believe that's the truth. It's sad." Beni would have made a good senshi if they'd just gotten to him first. "Maybe you think your goal is that but some senshi have seen what's behind your organization and it's something that's been out there trying to destroy everything for far longer than you could ever imagine. It's just polluted your mind. The only thing that will bring earth to ruin this time is your side. You're going to destroy it in an attempt to destroy the Senshi. Didn't they tell you that killing us is impossible?"
He'd been told about their past lives, he'd -seen- his own. They couldn't die, not forever. Killing them now would do nothing to send them away. With the Earth as the only spot of civilization left they would just keep being born here.
"I've been to the asteroid i supposedly come from. There isn't anything there to rebuild. Those civilizations are gone and it would be like trying to bring back the ancient Egyptians or the Babylonians to try to resurrect them. That civilization is dead. All we can do now is protect what we've been given as a second home. Which is Earth."
He grinned and tilted his head back slightly. "So we want the same thing. We just want to protect Earth. Just ... one of us is doing it right and one isnt." And he was convinced he was the right one.

"Why would we be here if not for you senshi being awakened first?" He countered quickly. "Considering our war is with you, why would the Negaverse be recruiting if not for our enemy being awakened?" As he saw it the whole issue it was the opposite way around. If the senshi hadn't been awakened the Negaverse wouldn't be recruiting and he wouldn't have been offered to join, to fight for his and others freedom. He wouldn't have had to-
Whoever told the senshi anything was feeding them quite the story and most of them bought it, not all though seeing as the Negaverse had several senshi on there side and now the Dark Mirror Court were allies. Yes, some senshi saw sense even if it wasn't the same way he did. They saw sense and saw who was the cause of this whole mess. Even if for some they did originally fight for the other side.
"Power I shouldn't have?" Laughing he shook his head, his laughter almost hallow. One arm tightened about his mid section. "How amusing, because you senshi don't deserve the power you have either. Souls from another planet reborn here, that's what you senshi are. Former beings of other planets with powers no human should have outside of story books. No, you too shouldn't have your powers, if we should not have ours than neither should you senshi" He knew just what they were, and he knew they didn't belong here. They didn't belong here with their magic, they were the dangerous ones. He didn't posses magic, he was just faster and stronger than the average person and not even by a lot.
Now he shook his head. "Killing a senshi isn't impossible...in fact, I've done it twice." He didn't want to speak those words but they found themselves coming out without his consent or even thought. They just came out, best to go with it even as it hurt speaking about it. "It's not hard at all." He was coaching himself through this, telling himself to shrug a moment before he actually did shrug in the most casual manner possible.
"You could try, plants at least if not people." He knew enough about plants, and it was something to latch on to rather than where the conversation could have gone. "There are plants which can handle what I'm sure is the barren land you turned your asteroid in to." The blame on the other, for what had happened to the asteroid, was clear in the blonds voice as he spoke.
"And I assume you think the right way is the way of the senshi? What of the members of your little group who like to kidnap and torture people? Are they correct as well?" Now his voice dropped to a coldness he'd yet to use. But it was cold as he moved to circle the other slowly. "I see, torture thy enemy all in the name of good, who cares if they are people under it all, if they feel the pain. It matters not, so long as as you think of them as wrong and evil." Speaking as he moved slowly, heels clicked with slow deliberate steps. "Or are you going to answer smartly and condemn those actions? That not all of you are right...that some of you are as evil and dark as you see us and the youma?" Maybe he was changing, twisting, but he didn't see it. Too blind and not by just power but by what he'd witnessed and the fact he was human and had committed some major acts himself. His demons were forming, taking shape and name, and were twisting the blond as he tried to cope.
"No, you senshi will destroy this planet. As you did in the past so will you do again, only it won't be your home planets it'll be here. And if that Queen returns than our freedom, as people of the Earth, will be nill. That cannot be permitted. And soooo those of you who would seek to remove us and to awaken or find your Queen must be dealt with." He spoke slowly. "And that is why you should join us, and fight for the rights of all people here."
