Halloween is close and many are already dressed for the part! Zombies, vampires, pumpkins, and many more pepper the streets of Gaia, and even new spooky Carousel have appeared as of late. But despite the darker themes popping up, Carousels are as attached to one another as ever. New cubs and kittens and eggs are always welcome, and this month is no exception. But, for some reason, the offspring that have been born recently have taken on a startling appearance. They still look like their parents, of course, but at the same time, they do not. Some have been noted to have random growths of spines and horns. Others have blood-red markings appear on their sides, or even some other colors. The strangest thing about all of these is that they have never appeared in their family lines before. It is a strange, new occurrence, and almost makes it seem as if the newborns themselves are taking on the essence of the nearing holiday. Some are beyond ecstatic, but not all of them are so, and the new changes that come about are not all harmless...

Rules and Information:
★ Event closes on October 31, 2011 at 5PM PST | 6PM MST | 7PM CST | 8PM EST.
★ This is your normal free breeding event with an added twist: the offspring will be altered in some way to match Halloween. It can be as small as having red eyes when the parents have none or as big as getting skeleton edits all across the body. It's up to the colorist who's taken on the breeding to decide what to do. (Any colorist may participate. To claim a couple, simply post in this thread with your choice and strike it off from the list.)
★ All standard breeding rules apply.
★ A minimum of one per litter is guaranteed to have a random alteration, but not all of them. Some alterations will appear only after growth (which will be colorist-choice, as well). Whatever changes an offspring receives will be passable to its own children.
★ When filling out the form, please use thumbnails for certs and links for uncerts. (It'd be preferable if the thumbnails linked to the larger cert image instead of the PB site so that it'd take less time to load, but if you're not sure how to do it, that's fine.) Thumbnails can be made by taking the standard PB link and inserting a "th_" just before its file name.

★ Winners may be chosen by CC or by dice. (When a dice is rolled, owners will be rolled for first, and then a couple will be rolled for afterwards, so that those with more pets/couples won't have a higher chance of winning than those with less.)
