A small school in town square, Little Seagull Schoolhouse accommodates for grades K-12 despite it's small staff. There are two classrooms, a cafeteria, a small playground often used for PE, a counsellor's office, the principal's office, and a nurse's office, where the clinic's nurse can be called in should a crisis arises. The first classroom from the front doors is for the younger students, K-6, while the second, in the back of the school, is intended for 7-12 grades. Both rooms are outfitted in everything that Mr. Frisk could manage for the school, including projectors, a chalkboard, several desks.. the basics.

Since Herman Frisk was arrested for relations with a student and Judith Cunningham took over, the school had many changes. Principally due to her numerous budget cuts and making the students do the work of the maintenance staff, the school now has a good size library where the teacher's room used to be. Students are now also required to wear a uniform. She also renamed the school from "The Little Seagull" to "The Creeping Vulture" thinking that the old name would have let students to think that educations was a joke. Perfection through unity! One School, one student body, one Principal!

Constantine or rather what he liked to be called 'Isaac', was sitting in his desk by the window in the classroom, in the same room he had always been in since he had gone into kindergarten. The teacher was nice, well she at least wasn't scary like the principal. Someone he had only heard rumors of and seen walking down the hall maybe once or twice. She looked like a vulture ready to pluck his eyes out. But enough about her, Isaac had just assumed all principals of schools were scary and that theirs was nothing different.

The young boy had his green eyes darting from his sketch pad in front of him to the window besides him, sketching what was out the window. New people were in town and teacher wasn't in yet, so he had time to sit and watch people. But he was here sitting in his seat early as usual, with a few other students he was sure but he didn't pay attention to them. It wasn't because he was antisocial, it was more of the fact that he saw school as a duty like tending to the shrines with his Father. Both duties that he took pleasure in but he took them seriously none the less.

While the other students chit chatted or studied before the teacher came in Constantine watched, and sketched, as a man and a daughter came up to the school. Isaac jotted down the last details of the two before they disappeared into a part of the building he couldn't see.

Sammi was hand in hand with his adorably, somehow still energetic even after the long walk from the RV through town and to the school, seven year old daughter Lily. He had a lot of things to do today, check out his new place of work, see when he was starting and what kind of pay he was going to be working with. Then off to the Coffee shop to refuel before surveying the town and its different shops and inhabitants. But of course all this would have to come after he got Lily set up at school First things first and anything that came first involved his little girl. Even before morning coffee.... which he looked like he was in desperate need of some.

Sammi tried to stifle a yawn to no avail as Lily led them both past the school doors. Dear God was he really going to make this trip every day, twice a day? Of course he was, he had to drop off and pick up his little girl, at least until they knew this place better, and when Lily was a little older. Sammi wasn't paranoid, just cautious you don't let your child walk nearly the entire length of the island by herself. He looked down to his daughter who had a big smile on her face. He smiled back at her before her attention was adverted elsewhere.

"Daddy, they're wearing uniforms. Do i get to wear one? I think the skirts are pretty." Lily asked as she pointed to some girls wearing the school enforced uniforms.

"Of course pumpkin." Sammi said with a smile. "First though lets find your classroom and your teacher, yeah?" Sammi said to his daughter as they headed to the k-7th classroom. One classroom to teach all these grades? Well it was a small town, something Sammi enjoyed just the mere thought of.

Once they reached the classroom Sammi released Lily's hand to let the girl run around and explore the classroom itself. He waited near the door checking room and hall for Lily's soon to be teacher. It was only right he introduce himself, another reason why he had come here with Lily. Not to mention he had a few questions.
______

Lily was ecstatic almost enough that she would explode into a tiny million pieces of confetti, but she wouldn't, that's just how she felt. Now of course she was nervous as ever, it was a new school, new place to live, new people, new everything, but she was excited to make friends. Lily scurried around the room, delicately touching this and that, all but the teachers desk or other students who occupied their desks.

Lily paused to look out the window near the front of the classroom. The fall leaves were so pretty here, she was sure she had never seen the leaves such vibrant reds, oranges, pinks and yellows. And they crunched under her feet as she walked, it was like a pretty picture you got to walk in. Lily turned her eyes from the window and to the chalk board to view today's lesson. But other than Welcome Students the chalk board was pretty bare. Lily smirked and ran up to the chalk board, picking up a piece of chalk she drew, for the next like 10 minutes at least, a crooked smiley face and wrote next to it. 'Hi I'm Lily Connell.' In slightly crooked letters.

Another new year for school, another starting day of school. Amanda had walking duty that day and even though she always had first day of school walk, she was secretly ok with it. Not that she was going to tell Tate that. The boob hated to get up outta bed. Ah well. Her baby boy was starting a new year and as much as she didn't want to admit it - he was growing up on her. But as a big bad boy of six, he did not want Mom taking him to school. Even though it was a bit of a hike from our house all the way to the school he thought he could do it all by himself, but I wouldn't let him so that made her the bad guy. "Mooom I can walk by myself. I'm not a baby! It's bad enough I have to hold hands with you the whole way there. Dad doesn't make me hold hands with him!" With a small frown Amanda looked down. "I'm sorry that it's so horrible holding my hand, but you are my baby boy and I don't want anything to happen to you! So guess what buster brown, you are going to hold my hand until we get there or you get double vegetables tonight." The ultimate threat. The look of total shock on his face was worth that tiny stab of sadness she got when he said he didn't want to hold her hand.

She wouldn't do it. She couldn't do it. Brody was hoping against all odds that she wasn't being serious about the vegetables. That was really mean! She wasn't that mean. And it really wasn't that bad holding her hand. But he was six, and didn't want the other kids to think he was a big baby. With a pout he stopped arguing and held her hand the entire way there. Once they got to the building he ran in front of her to open the door. Once he remembered the vegetable threat. "Does that count Mommy?" With a smile she rubbed his spiky hair and told him no. "No double vegetables for you tonight." With a cheer he raced a bit ahead of her and into his classroom. Picking a desk by the window but close to the front he put his Spiderman backpack down and saw a new girl in the front. Being raised the way he was meant he went to say hi. Walking up to her, he poked her shoulder. "Hi. I'm Brody O'Ballivan. I'm six. My mommy's Amanda, and Daddy's Tate. I have four dogs. You must be new here because I don't recognize you. Have you picked you're seat yet? You can sit by me if you want to." As Amanda walked down the hallway in order to catch up with her energetic son, she recognized a new parent waiting for the teacher. With a smile she walked up to him and introduced herself. "Hi there. You must be new to the area. My name's Amanda."

Lily had just finished writing her name on the chalk board when she was poked on the shoulder she- with chalk still in hand- turned around to face whoever had poked her. She smiled when she saw it was a boy around her age. When he introduced himself she set down the chalk on the teachers desk nearby and turned back to the boy, Brody.

"Hi i am new. Came here with my daddie, his name his Sammi. My other Daddy we lost a few years ago. I'm Lily Connell. Im seven Ha! Im one year older than you." Lily said with a giggle, she liked to rub little things like that in people's faces. Her eyes then darted to the boys backpack. "That your's its cool looking. Like my hat? I made it myself. Well not that hat i found that, but i glued the eyes to it." Lily said proudly as she pointed to her hat atop her head. She was rather proud of it after all.

"You have four dogs? I don't have any pets, cant keep em. At least not right now, not until we get a house. Then i'm sure my daddy will let me have all kinds of animals. Whats your doggies names?"
Lily asked barely taking any breaths in between her talking. Dear God did she ever shut up? She was just so excited to meet someone new and around her age! "I like how your hair is spiky in the front that's neat-o." She added with a smile as she reached out to touch Brody's hair gently.

Sammi had been lightly day dreaming when a child ran past him. He straightened up and was soon greeted by the blur of a child's, mother. He smiled and took off his hat in a polite greeting. He smiled and introduced himself back. "Good day. Names Sammi Connell. That's my little girl there, Lily." Sammi said as he gestured to Lily talking to Brody. Well didn't she work fast, then again that was his daughter the social butterfly. She'd rather be surrounded by people than alone.

"And yeah we're new here. Got myself a vet job over at the animal clinic and pet store. I'm just waiting for the teacher, need to talk to her about how much these uniforms are going to be. You wouldn't be her would you?" Sammi said as he lightly gestured to the other children. "Plus i needed to walk her to school. I wasn't about to let my baby girl run around a town she doesn't know." Sammi said with a light smile. He slipped his hat back on his head and his hands slipped into his pockets.

"I think you're the first local i've met so far. How is it here?" Sammi asked, after all he wanted to get a feel for the place and its inhabitants.

Amanda smiled as the man introduced himself. "Well it's nice to meet you Sammi. And I have a feeling were going to get to know each other pretty well." With a smile she finished speaking, "I have four rather active dogs, so we will come see you often most likely." As the man o[pointed out his daughter Amanda poked her head in the room and smiled, "Well it seems that she and Brody, my son, have made quick friends. That will be nice for both of them I'm sure." As his mother was making small talk Brody pouted for a moment. This new girl was older then him. No fair! "Can we still be friends even though you're older then me?" He smiled with pride when she noticed his backpack,"Yeah, that's mine it's really cool! And I like you're hat! I have a hat at home but it's a cowboys hat like Daddy's. And I have four dogs, well two of them are mine and one's Mommy's and one's Daddy's. It's Nala, Simba, Chloe, and Kenny. Nala and Simba are mine. You could come over and play with them sometime. Well we have to ask Mommy if it's ok first though. And I like it spiky in the front, my cousin showed me how to do it over the summer." With short pauses between sentences Brody remembered to breath. Otherwise it could have been an issue for the talkative boy.

Amanda peeked her head in once again and saw that Brody had made a new friend very quickly with the new girl, Lily. At her father's question she shook her head. "No, I'm not the teacher. I'm the photographer for the town's newspaper. I don't think it would be possible to teach my own son. He wouldn't believe anything I said." With a laugh she shook her head and changed subjects. "The uniform's weren't terribly expensive, but my husband dealt with them so I'm not sure. And I understand walking her, I still walk in my baby boy even though I'm an embarrassment to his big bad six year old self. If you live near us, it wouldn't be a problem to drop Lily off in the morning sometime if it's necessary and either I or my husband would walk them. If it's ever necessary that is." She shifted a bit so she could lean a bit on the door frame, stupid new boots. So cute but pinched her toes. "Well, Welcome to the Island." with a smile she continued, "It's a nice town, lovely when the seasons change and it has it share of quirky people. The festivals are such fun when you participate, but sometimes it's better to just people watch during them. But it's usually a nice place to live. My husband and I like it here. And it's a great place to raise Brody." There was no reason to tell him how many people got eaten by Gaston's loose animals. Or got hurt by some of the strange things that happened in town. Yet at least.

It was the first day of school, and like every day, the Li children paraded out from their little house to school, Yue in front, Jian in the back, and all three holding hands. At least, that's how it was supposed to be. But they had had a late morning, and Mei had been too busy trying to rush off to work to remind them to keep track of each other. Chun Fei and Jian's hands were firmly clapsed, of course, but Yue marched well ahead. You see, today she was starting the fourth grade, and everyone knew that the fourth grade was when you started to be considered a grown up, capable person, and she didn't want to ruin her chances by being associated with a bunch of children. Besides, they were in the second grade now, they could walk on their own. Thankfully, the twins didn't seem to notice, and instead walked in silence, swinging their arms in exaggerated motions until they reached their classroom, marching right past the other children who were gathering. Despite Mei's best efforts, the Li children were anything but social, as the twins headed off to a corner of the classrooms to chat between themselves, and Yue took a seat in the front, wistfully thinking of the higher grade classroom. Maybe if she was lucky, they'd realize their mistake and let her move there instead. She was tired of being in the little kid class.

Peter had to admit, he was a little relieved that school was starting again. It had been a long, uneventful summer with his mother. Thankfully, Alt had been around too, so Kotone had had her distractions, but he forgot how awkward it was to share a house with her during the day. He spent a lot of time at the Page's and with Wilhelm, but... Well, school just gave him an excuse so he didn't have to feel bad about avoiding her.

As he had every year since Skyla had started school, Peter walked with his little sister to school. It was a bit of a tromp from their house to school, and he was completely convinced that if she went alone, she'd get lost, or wander off, or... do something weird. And so he made sure she made it to school in one piece, as he had every day for the past four years.

"Skyla, here's your class," he said hesitantly as he led the child to the door of her classroom. Honestly, he couldn't tell if she remembered or not, and just hoped that she'd figure it out eventually. After standing there awkwardly, waiting for some sort of acknowledgment, he gave up and headed off to his own classroom to wait for Erika and Wilhelm.

---

Right around this time, a pair of redheads appeared in the school building. Or more like, zoomed. River carried Jeremy on her back, though he was probably a little too big to be carried by such a small woman. His face was flushed red from excitement, as was River's, as she had run all the way from their apartment to school, all while pretending to be a plane... or a race car... and at one point, a lion. It switched around a lot. But as they reached school, she stopped suddenly, almost toppling over. She always forgot how heavy Jeremy was getting!

"Ready to disembark?" River asked over her shoulder, receiving a vigorous nod on Jeremy's part. She crouched down to let him off, wincing slightly as the little boy climbed down. She was getting older, and he was getting bigger, so it probably wasn't the best idea to continue transporting him like this. But it was so much fun! Straightening up, the woman stretched her back before glancing down at Jeremy, eyebrows twitching together for a moment as she did so.

"You were slow today, Mom," Jeremy commented softly as he took his backpack from River and hugged it to his chest. "But that's okay."

"Sorry, I'll do better next time," River reassured him. "Do you see any of your friends?"

"...I don't think so. They'll be here soon, right?"

River would have replied, but the clock on the wall caught her attention. "Oops, I'm already an hour later. Uncle Alex's gonna kill me. Have a good day, kiddo!" she grinned as she ruffled Jeremy's hair and took off again.

Jeremy watched his mother speed off before walking into the classroom and looking around somewhat meekly. There weren't many friendly faces, so he lingered by the door so he could catch Mimi or Miah, someone familiar.

Cherry didn't usually mind her job. Sure, kids were a little too noisy for her tastes, but it was an interesting job, and there were some nice students. But today, no matter how much she tried, she couldn't make herself excited for the start of the school year. And that was most definitely because of the surly teenage boy shuffling a short ways behind her.

Chris hadn't been pleased that school was starting already, and had complained the entire morning. But for some reason, he had fallen silent once they left the house. Perhaps he had just accepted his fate? But Cherry knew better. He was trying to think of ways to get back at her.

As they were about to pass through the doors of the school, the fourteen year old opened his mouth and called to his niece. "Hey, Cherry--" He had barely gotten both syllables out when the dark haired woman backtracked, taking long, brisk steps until she was nearly nose-to-nose with him. Or, she would have been, if there hadn't been a bit of a height difference.

"Listen here, you," she began sharply, blue eyes meeting blue. "You will call me Miss Garcia. Not Cherry. My name is Natasha Garcia, and you will address me as such. And if you so much as HINT that we're related, even remotely acquaintances, I swear to god, I will kill you. And then I'll have rabbit for dinner." She maintained eye contact for a long moment before turning on her heel and heading off to wherever-it-is-that-the-counselor-goes, leaving Chris to drag himself to his classroom and sulk by himself.

School. School. Omg. School. SCHOOL. SCHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!!!!! This was all that was going through Wilhelm’s head as he walked ran toward the building. There was no time to loose! Why? Because this year, Wilhelm was in 9th grade. That meant that he was in high school. That he was with the big kids. That he was POPULAR. YEAH. Highschool made you popular. Or at the very least, it made you better than everyone else younger than him, and being better than people made it easier for you to get friends. Wilhelm loved having friends! He just couldn’t get enough! Friends were awesome because the more you had, the more connection you had! And having connections got you invited to parties (not that there were any real parties on Nirvni) and got you into the right clicks and … and .. and STUFF. That’s all that mattered. He didn’t exactly knew WHY it was important to have as many friends as possible, but he KNEW it was important and that was good enough. Furthermore, he was Wilhelm LeBlanc, son of the Town representative and brother of the hot girl every guy three years older than him wanted to bang. Why wouldn’t they all want to be friends with him?

But first, before going on his quest toward popularity, he had to make sure to secure the one precious thing he had, and that was Peter. Well, there was John too, but John was always late, so he knew that the giant tall hot blonde soulmate cousin hadn’t arrive yet. Wilehlm stopped in his track to ponder for one second if John remembered where the school was. He was such a airhead, sometimes, that he had to wonder such things, especially now that Quentin wasn’t going to school anymore. Maybe he should walk him to school from now on? Oh! Yes! YES! HE WOULD WALK JOHN TO AND FROM SCHOOL EVERYTHING AND THEY’D BE ALONE TOGETHER FOR LIKE A HUGE TEN MINUTES A DAY BECAUSE JOHN LIVED RIGHT NEXT TO THE SCHOOL BUT THAT DIDN’T MATTER BECAUSE JOHN WAS AWESOME AND THAT WAY THEY’D BE TOGETHER FOREVER AND RAINBOWS AND SUNSHINES AND LITTLE SINGING BIRD AND…. What was he doing again? Oh, right, Peter.

There he went again, rushing through the hallways of the school, jumping over a midget or two in order to gain some very precious seconds that he could spend with Peter instead and, with luck, without Erika to come and ruin everything. Oh, sure, she was a nice girl and he enjoyed spending time with her and hanging out and all those cool things that teenagers in highschool got to do that he couldn’t think about right now, but that didn’t meant that she had a right to destroy his precious alone-time with Peter! Talking about the blonde boy – ”PEEETA!!!”, he screamed as he jumped from the doorway to where the boy was currently sitting, in order to glomp him. Sure, it had only been, what? 48 hours since he had last seen him? But whatever, IT FELT LIKE FOREVER. IT was long enough to be worth a Peta-scream. ”How are you? How was your morning? How was summer? Did you miss me? OF COURSE YOU DID.” cue stronger glomp. ”Are those new glasses? They look like new glasses. Oh, wait, not, still same old glasses. BUT THEY LOOK GOOD SO IT’S ALRIGHT I LOVE THEM. Hey! Peter! Hey! Hey! Guess what! Guess what! “ Wait five second to give him time to guess… NEVERMINDTHATIT’STAKINGTOOLONG. ”WE’RE IN THE SAME CLASS TOGETHER AGAIN. IT’S BEEN LIKE A WHOLE YEAR. So! So-so-so, you’re going to tell me everything about the teacher, right? Right! Oh, oh! You have any tricks to get by? HIGHSCHOOL IS COOL. You’re cool too, Peter!” And on that, he finally shut up, sat down, and waited for Peter to talk back to him, all while having a huge grin on his face that did make him look a little stupid.

Oh, and Maxine is standing in the back of the K-7 Class room, too.

Morgan was oh so alone. On the first day of school, no less. This was one of the most trying days for him, every year. Sure, he was 17, but that didn't mean that he didn't want his mommy standing right next to him like she always had. It got even harder as he began growing and could no longer fit into his magical mystery box. That was always such a great way to escape. He was standing in front of the schoolhouse, holding a large notebook over his head. Who knew when a meteor would strike? He had to be ready for everything! Which also explained why he was wearing large goggles atop his head. He could swiftly grab them and pull them over his eyes at any moment, making it a great safety precaution. He saw a few kids, along with some parents, out front and instantly felt a bit sad again. Not only did he not have his mom, but he didn't have any real friends at school. Mostly because he had witnessed them all picking their noses at one point or another over the years, and he had no idea what kind of germs they had! He'd be damned if he talked to any of them and got some kind of a freako booger disease. So, he walked by himself up the stairs and into the door, with a straight face and eyes forward. He couldn't afford to be distracted by anyone, after all, that could mean life or death by a rabid squirrel.

Beatrice felt a little guilty, but it really wasn't her fault that Ryder refused to wake up. Bela would just have to bring her in once she finally rolled out of bed. She was just happy that one of them woke up, of course that was easier since Lyra had elected to spend the night in her aunt's room. They had picked out the best outfit and done her hair up all pretty with new ribbons for the special occasion. Currently, Beatrice had her arm around Lyra's shoulder, because holding hands was lame. She could already tell that the teenage years were going to be grrrreat. "Do you know any of these kids? They look nice. Maybe you should make some friends, dear." This was, of course, greeted with a look of disgust, "These are babies, Auntey Bea." Beatrice just kind of looked at Lyra for a second and then led her on inside, obviously she didn't want to be around those people. Once they were inside, she recognized someone that would have had to have been about to graduate. It seemed so weird to be coming back to the school and to see someone that had been in school when she was there, but she had only really met him the one day. She looked over at Lyra, and bent down to whisper in her ear. "See that man up there with the book over his head? You stay away from him." She then patted Lyra's shoulder and pulled her close into a semi-hug. She had strict orders not to show any affection once they were in the building, Lyra had a reputation to keep. Beatrice smiled down at her little niece and led her into the classroom.

__________________________________________

Lyra was honestly a bit happy to be back at school, even if it was without her little sister this year, she'd show up eventually. Her and mommy would have to get out of bed sometime. She didn't really know who the guy Auntey Bea was talking about was, but she'd be sure to stay away from him. Not that she'd let him come around anyway, she never talked to people that much older than her, well except for Uncle Keith's kids. Speaking of which, where were they? The important question here was where was Quentin?!. Her eyes glazed over with joy as she thought of him, then she realized that he had graduated. Stupid him, being all smart and stuff. Didn't he know that that wasn't in the big plan? How would they end up together without hanging around in school. Boys were so stupid sometimes, really. She looked all over the little classroom, not seeing her teacher yet and not wanting Auntey Bea to know that she didn't have any real friends, yet. That would just be bad and end with her getting speeches about being friendlier from daddy. What he didn't understand was how talking to people made Lyra feel. She was all nervous and sweaty-palmed just at the thought! She gave Auntey Bea a little squeeze around her middle and walked over to where Maxine was standing in the back. She turned her back mostly so her Aunt couldn't read her lips, "Hi, I'm Lyra. I know we don't really know each other, but would you mind acting like we're friends? You see, my aunt thinks that I'm making a lot of friends here, and I don't want to disappoint." She smiled at the girl, hoping she'd just go along with it.

The first day of school. A momentous occasion for any child and/or teenager, especially if it is the first day at a new school. Today was that day for the Salvador siblings. Walking side by side to the school house, neither one decided to address the other. Even though they're aunt had made them walk with each other, both were visibly discontent with the situation. Icis, the young lady that she was though, decided to accompany her brother under her aunt's request. Though if her brother Styde decided to do something to embarrasses her while they were together... Well, she'd just kill him. Simple as that. He was forgettable anyway. With this thought came a spring in the young girls step. Now humming happily as she continued to think about her brother's downfall. Styde on the other hand made sure to keep his distance from the girl. She was known for getting violent with him after all... He sighed, today was going to be a bad day. It always was the same for him. He'd show up, sure talk to someone, but then just blend into the background. As if he was never there.

But, he was there now. The two arrived just as a bunch of other students had. Icis gleefully looking around, but Styde... The boy made sure to stay out of any ones field of view. He hated any attention, and seeing how the classes were so small, he wanted to draw as little attention as possible. And yet his sister was bouncing here and there, doing whatever she pleased. And yet, surprisingly she kept her mouth shut. He smiled a bit at that. She had a certain way with words... Well it drew attention. The brother walked towards the girl and tapped her on the shoulder signifying they should move to the classroom. Which they did. And outside of his sister's class the boy stopped. "You have everything, right?" He asked, willing to give up some of his stuff if she needed it. He looked at her with those oh so big brother-y eyes he had (full of skepticism of course), "I don't want you causing trouble on your fir-" Unfortunately he was cut off before he could continue. By a swift jab to the stomach no less. His sister shot him a look telling him he should leave, and when he tried to talk again he quickly kicked in the gut. Which he took as his cue to leave. He wobbled into his classroom and took the nearest seat possible.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After Icis sent her brother off with a proper beating and a much deserved, "Stop talking to me, scum," she throw open the door to her classroom with the energy of a storm. "GOOD MORNING!" She shouted powerfully as she stomped into the room with a large grin. School was all about first impressions. And EVERYONE had to have an impression of her. After a small pause of waiting for a crowd of people to storm her, (which never happened) The girl continued to walk towards the center of the classroom. She looked over each person, openly staring at them with wide eyes. There were a couple of boys, none of which were particularly interesting for her. Most boys weren't, they were all a bunch of losers after all. Instead Icis fixated on each and every girl. One by one she scanned the young ladies, her eyes changing to a more... intriguing look. She raised one hand to her cheek, her pinky resting on her lip, and sighed happily. All of them were so cute! Icis laughed under her breath a bit, a very eerie laugh, but then snapped herself out of it. If she stayed in that state too long she would probably end up drooling all over herself. And before she ended up looking like some freak, she decided to go make some friends. And with who? The two girls around her age who were talking of course! She hurried over to the two in the back and slammed her hands on a desk in front of them. The one girl looked like she was whispering something, but Icis didn't care. Secrets were for peasants, not cute girls chosen to be friends with her. "Hey, hey, how are ya'?" She greeted with a powerful grin.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Little tiny Skyla was once again being walked to school like every other school year. Though she still had know idea what kind of place school was. She only knew that Brooke always was there! So it couldn't have been a bad place. Plus her brother, Peter, always dropped her off, which made her happy as well. She always walked with Peter holding her right hand, and Dolce holding her left. A bit of an odd sight for people outside of he imaginary world, but hopefully most could just play it off on her still being a child. And when the child was left in front of her classroom, she waved goodbye to her brother and scurried into the room. A lot of the time Brooke was late, since Sissy (Erika) was usually late to walk her. So Skyla was used to being in the room with no one to talk to. She never really bothered to make friends. Everyone was to loud... So the small girl sat down at her normal seat and placed her pack on the seat next to her. Claiming it for her imaginary friend.

"Of course we can be friends! I'm going to sit next to you aren't i?" Lily laughed and smiled at Brody. His awesome backpack and his liking of her hat automatically made Brody Lily's new friend. "Id love to come play with your doggies, and yeah ill have to ask my daddy too. That's neat-o that your cousin showed you how to do your hair. Hey do you like bugs? I like bugs. Whats your favorite kind of bug? I like crickets cause they make noise but they're hard to catch. Hey! At recess do you wanna play catch?! I have a baseball in my backpack. Its not as cool as your backpack but it has all kinds of neat things inside it." Lily who was blissfully unaware of everyone else who entered the room was totally focused on just talking to Brody. She slipped off her plain old backpack and opened it up.

She pulled out a few things to show Brody. "I have a troll doll, see isn't it cute with its green hair? And i have that's my baseball..." She said as she handed Brody her items while she took out more things. "This is a bear's claw i found, oh and this is goose feather i found one time. And- oh wait that's my lunch." She said as she set a transformers lunchbox on Brody's desk. "And this is a little car i bought with my allowance and this is a yo-yo that i'm not very good at. Oh these are my hair bands, Oh! and this.." Lily said as she set down her nearly empty backpack on the floor and pulled out a picture. "That's my daddy Sammi, little me, and my other daddy Jean." Lily said as she showed Brody the picture. She started taking her stuff back and putting it all away in her backpack haphazardly while Brody looked at the picture.
______________

Sammi's comfort level went from 'chill' to 'i need to get the ******** out of here.' In a matter of moments as everyone, children and parents poured into the school. "Nnngh.." The annoyed low tone came from the male who had promptly moved away from the doorway and towards Amanda to get out of the line of fire. His anxiety quickly crept up on him and instead of answering Amanda properly he started checking his pockets for his cigarettes.

"Yeah that sounds good."
Sammi said shortly, still trying to find his cigarettes. "Where the hell-?" Sammi frowned, cursing under his breath. They were somewhere in some pocket on his person! Where the hell where they?! s**t.. well if he couldnt find them then he needed to get the hell out of here. But he didnt want to be rude to Amanda. "Hey, ah.. the teacher can wait. Do you want to get out of here? Join me for a friendly cup of coffee?" Sammi asked the nervousness in his voice. "I cant.." He said as he gestured all around with his finger to the growing crowd. "..right, groups and me dont work. Ah, its an anxiety of mine. So? Coffee? You dont smoke do you? I cant find my cigs. Haha.." Sammi laughed nervously. And before he had been so calm and collective.

Sammi started backing down the hall the urge to get out of the people filled place too great to wait for Amanda's answer. "Ill tell you what. Um, im going to the cafe, if you want to meet me there. If not then its been nice chatting with ya. Ah, i can see our kids are getting along great, well talk more later about that whole walking thing. Oh and i like Dogs so ah.. yah. I need to.. yah bye." Sammi said with a tip of his hat before he hurried himself out of the school.

A glimpse of turquoise or was it more green? caught Constantine's attention, and distracted him from his sketching of the two little kids not far from his own desk. Lily and Brody seemed to be getting along so well and so fast. Why couldn't he do that? Make friends that fast? Well he supposed he could he just never tried. Anyways back to the flash of turquoise that had walked past him.

Constantine turned around in his chair to see Lyra the turquoise haired girl and Maxine, the purple haired uniquely dressed girl start talking to one another. Now of course he didn't know their names, but he did enjoy watching these two for various reasons. But they never interacted together. Why he didn't know. But Isaac had spent at least a few hours during the school day observing both girls. Lyra's hair was captivating, as was Maxine's but ... honestly he didn't know.. he just.. enjoyed watching them, too shy to approach them though. But that's how he always was, he'd rather observe than interact, reason no. 5 why he didn't have friends his age.

And both were around his age, maybe he would try to talk to one of them today. Especially if they caught him staring at them again, they might kick his a**. He didn't know if either of the two would do such a thing, he sure as hell knew he wouldn't put up a fight. Things like that wasn't his cup of tea. They didn't seem like it, for the time's when he was watching the Lyra and Maxine, he noted that they were quiet. Which probably was the most intriguing thing about them both, not to mention Maxine had that look of mysterious sorcerer to her, uniform or not. And he had sketched them both on numerous occasions.

With the confirmation of a new friend on the first day of school, Brody's day was already complete. Now he just had to get through the school day. Hopefully they didn't do any math today. "Bugs are ok, I like frogs better. But my Mommy doesn't like them so she won't let me keep any that I catch. But they're all slimy and junk so it's fun. Yeah we can play catch! My Dad's teaching me how to pitch the ball like they do on TV. It's hard." A look of frustration crossed the boys face but it passed soon enough. "Green hair? Awesome! I have my lunch too, it's in a Spiderman lunchbox though to match my backpack. I like Transformer's too though. Who's you're favorite? I like Optimus, he's the coolest." While she was listing everything she pulled out Brody saw the picture and wondered why she had two Daddy's. He didn't want to be mean and ask her though so he decided to ask Mommy later. "Where's you're other Daddy? You said he's lost. I can help you look for him?" At the end of his question Brody trailed off a bit, he then noticed all the other kids in the room. "Holy cows, there's a lot of people here! We should get our seats next to each other so no one else takes them first!" With a smile he took Lily's hand and pulled her over to the desks and then quickly let it go again. She had cooties, he had forgotten. "You can sit there and I'm here. That way we can still see the teacher and won't get in trouble for being in the back of the room!" With a smile he hopped into his chair and swung his brand new Spiderman sneakers back and forth in anticipation for the first day of school.

While Brody was contemplating his possible new cooties, Amanda and Sammi were still talking some in the hallway. Amanda realized quickly though that as soon as a variety of children descended into the building the man went from comfortable to extremely uncomfortable rather quickly. Hiding a small smile as the man searched to no avail for his cigarettes she let him finish rambling. "No I don't smoke, but I'm sure you will find them soon enough. And coffee would be nice, I don't have deadline or anything right now so I have some time." She had started to answer his other comments but the man made a rather hasty, and rude, escape from the building before she had the chance to. Under her breath she muttered,"Well then. That was rather rude, but I guess I understand." and fished her camera out of her purse. Snapping a few quick shots of the kids settling in the classroom for the first day of school. She took a couple of Brody and Lily, just for future motherly blackmail use. When done she put the camera back and zipped her bag shut. Poking her head into the room one last time she made sure Brody was all settled and made her way out of the school. Coffee or no coffee, that was the question.

Was that… a voice? Maxine’s eye lazily moved toward the direction of that sound that sounded like a shrinking girl’s voice… Or maybe it wasn’t so shrinking. It was hard to tell when the girl had such a bright aura. Such a bright blue… It was like sky blue but so much more than just that. It was like… deep sky blue. Yes, that girl’s aura was deep sky blue. It was so distracting that Maxine just didn’t bother to listen to what she was saying. Something about lying or her mother or about a panda eating babies on Chrismass. She couldn’t quite remember. It was that aura! So distracting… maybe she should look away from it… just for a moment. She moved her eyes again, still with the same turtle speed, but this time, on the other direction, away from deepbluesky girl. There was a boy there…. No, it was a girl… or … ah… what was she doing again? Oh… there was a girl talking to her… had she been standing there for long? ”You smell… dead.” Was that inappropriate? She wasn’t sure. But dead was good, right? It was like mama’s potpourri’s leaves… dead leaves. That girl smelled sweet like Mama’s leaves. ”…very dead.” There. It was more of a compliment now. Papa was always saying how she should be nicer to people around her. Ah... she shouldn't overstay her welcome... And on that, she turned around and walked away, this time standing in the opsite corner of the room. She liked corners. They were... corners.

-Brooke Page, Julian Parker, Miah Bernadetto, Camelia Grey, Eet Alvey-LeBlanc, & Isaac Kidd-

It was the first day of school again and Brooke was being led to school by none other than her mother. Oh it wasn't because she couldn't on her own, it was simply just the first day and Reed would probably freak out if Blaire didn't make sure she was all right today. It was fine with the girl, better than coming with her sister. They'd be poking at each other the whole way, and that wasn't the best way to start the day. After waving off her mother, much less cruelly than the first day where she just left Blaire standing there next to Reed, who was probably close to tears because she didn't go back to say goodbye to her father, Brooke took a moment to look around the kids running around. She had seen a few of them before, of course some were moving to the other room, done with the little kids, and then were even newer little kids. After a moment the girl went into her classroom, glancing around before taking a seat and wait for their teacher. She would probably be late... again...

Julian had come a bit earlier today, still late but not as late. Why? Well it was his time at the big kid room! Uh no, that's not why. He was more concerned on maintaining his distance from Mimi, while keeping an eye on her just in case. She might blab he left her behind and then Romane would go off again. Really he loved her but... she should really stop believing Mimi over him. He's not the one desperate for a gun after all. Once they were inside, Julian reminded her of her room before heading to his own, his head in the clouds thinking of what today's madness would bring. That was why he didn't notice a brown haired kid that had been threatened by the counselor in the way and consequently bumped right into him. "Sorry dude" he said, not really looking at him, who was quite taller than him. Was he in his class? Most likely, but now he felt quite small...

School... Miah frowned at the thought of it as she came up to the sidewalk. If one thought it would entertain you, they were seriously mistaken. This was just as bad as being in a corner bored all alone, because that's what it was! Except with a stupid teacher and stupid kids. Maybe a handful could be selected carefully, but the rest were just so stupid and boring. What could be expected of her? She was growing up, and still stuck with the little kids... All right she wasn't that older but come on. This was just ridiculous. "..." Well that sort of thinking existed today because Julian was with the older kids... Whether it was jealousy or the fact that her actual friend wouldn't be there to ignore everyone with her was yet to be seen. But for now she moved through whoever was in the way before securing a seat in the back and next to a wall. Away from that annoying teacher... whenever she gets here. Thank Goddess for gum! She was just taking a piece from her pocket and unwrapping it before popping into her mouth and entertaining herself with the constant pop noise.

Right before two of her students would arrive, Camelia was making her way through the school and into her class with a thermos full of coffee on one hand. He had traditional outfit going on, turtleneck with black pants, a combo she was sure those kids hated because of her. Well right now she simply passed whoever was in her class and headed to the desk at the front, more to the left than the center and sat down. She opened her bag and pulled out a few papers, eying them over as she took a sip of her coffee, pondering her new students. There weren't that many... But they'd have to see how hopeless they were... For now she was just reading and waiting for their list to be complete.

Who would've expected to see Eet here today? Why not even the teenager itself knew! Today was elephant day... but it was also school day... Both would be in the island the next day, but there was so much activity at the place, and John had mentioned it a few times in the week, whatever he meant, that it decided to pop up. Moving around the crowd, either on two legs or on four, depending if it tripped or not. Even at it's age the balance was still shot. Eventually it made it's way to the room, seeking a corner in the back of the room to settle in. Eet looked pretty normal, except it took some of John's clothes this morning that are terribly big on it. Though it was rather cute to be honest... if you ignored the blank stare the teenager gave the rest of the room. There was one focus, and that was the board... It... was so green...

Uniforms... it had been a while since Isaac wore one. His last school wasn't exactly enforcing on codes like that. They were more hippie than anything. It still felt off, but there was something comforting about it. It was normal. Maybe he was finally getting his wish! Let him dream... let him dream... Luckily he was still on time, even if Leon had managed to drive him insane by losing his keys somewhere in the house. Might as well lost them, in the antique shop, it was as cluttered, and as such it took them an hour and a half to realize they were in the vase next to vanity who was next to the clock who was above the-Well you get the point. Merrily enough, or rather Coolly enough, Isaac found his way to his class and noticed practically a mirror image of himself, brown haired male with glasses, almost, Isaac himself had black hair. The boy gave the other a nod in greeting, hey that was cool and normal, before taking a seat behind him.

Now that he had successfully deposited his sister into her classroom, Peter could enjoy a moment of silence as he waited for his friends to arrive. It wasn't a very long moment, because even from his seat inside the classroom, he soon noticed the soft sound of frantic footsteps. Only Wilhelm moved that fast. So even though he had a moment to react, he had just begun to slowly rise from his seat when the white haired boy burst into the classroom and just about tackled him. And so the stream of words began, and Peter tried to get his head to stop spinning from the force of Wilhelm's glomp. "Morning, Will," he began with a wide smile, fixing his glasses, which had been knocked off center a bit. "What are you talking about? It's the same teacher as last year," he continued, looking at his friend blankly, though it didn't last for long. It always took a moment for him to switch gears and get used to moving at a faster pace (his parents and sister were all slow, so he couldn't help but grow accustomed to moving at a snail's speed all the time) but when he did, he was quickly swept up into Wilhelm's energy. "I did have a nice summer, though. You were there! Erika too!" He had an oddly self-satisfied smile on his face. Wilhelm had sat down next to him without him having to ask. And there was still a seat on the other side of him for Erika to sit. Or behind him! That was the good part of sitting right in the middle of the seats, there were so many options! "You're here before her today, that's a surprise." Was it really? Wilhelm lived closer to school, but Peter and Erika were neighbors, so logically, it made sense that they'd arrive at the same time. Maybe he was more anxious to get to school than he thought. "Let's have lunch together, okay? My mom made me sandwiches, if you want to share," he smiled brightly. It must have been a special day, if his mother had packed him a lunch! ...Though, it wasn't so much a lunch as it was a shopping bag full of ingredients, and it wasn't really a sandwich, more like a jar of peanut butter and a loaf of white bread. But Peter had always been left up to eat whatever the school offered, so this was the closest thing to a homemade lunch he had gotten in a long time!

---

Christopher stood there gloomily, tugging at his tie uncomfortably for a moment as he stared down at his feet. He didn't want to be there, if Cherry was going to be such a killjoy. Really, the only reason he had put on that awful uniform that morning was because he could enjoy the idea of embarrassing his family member in front of the whole school. But his love for Mathilda was greater than his desire to make Cherry's face turn that nice shade of purple, and so he would control himself... for now. And it didn't mean that he wanted to go inside the building at all, either. However, believe it or not, he DID know how to behave, and was just about done motivating himself to go inside the classroom and deal with the intense looking brunette woman, when some kid barrelled into him. Well, no, that was an exaggeration. Julian had just barely bumped into him, but it was enough to knock Chris off his mental center, and he could feel his chest begin to grow tight. He didn't like this situation at all. "My name's not 'dude'," he snapped. This was wrong, he didn't want to be there, he didn't want to be wearing that stiff uniform, he didn't want to sit in a classroom with kids younger than him, he didn't want to do any of this. And it was making him mad. "And that's not how you talk to strangers," he added, his ears burning as he got more and more wrapped up in his irritation. All these years of being told to make eye contact, and this kid wasn't even paying attention to the rules. Chris began to walk quickly, shoving past Julian as he made his way into his classroom. He hated this school already.

That was enough to stop Wilhelm from talking midway through a sentence. Ah, yes, Wilhelm never really stop talking. It was just the population of the island who had, over time, learned to block most of his rambling and the author censuring stuff deemed irrelevant. Still, what Peter had just said had him staying where with his mouth half open and looking stupid for a couple of seconds before closing it, frowning and pursing his lips. He thought about it for a second only to realize that, yes, Peter was right… Peter was so bright! Oh yes! This was exactly why he loved his friend! That was enough to have him smiling full teeth again! ”Oh. My. God! YOUARESORIGHTPETERI’MSOSTUPID!”, he blurted out in one breath… if he had even taken the time to breath, that is. ”I don’t know what came up to me! It’s just… All of this is so exiting that I forgot all about last year! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT PETER FOR A SECOND I THOUGHT I WAS BACK IN EIGHT GRADE.” He brought both hands to his chest, letting a long breath out. This was scary business! Him having to repeat a whole year! ” Oh God. That would terrifying, don’t you think! Goddess! I know exactly how Erika feels now!

Talking about Erika, where was the girl? Peter was right, she wasn’t there… She would usually arrive at the same time as Peter, whether Wil had arrived first or not that day. A situation that Wilhelm never really liked, to tell the truth. Why did SHE had the right to walk to school with Peter anyway? Wilhelm was the oldest friend! He should be the one walking with Peter! And Erika too! And John! YEAH! Why weren’t they all walking to school together? Oh, wait, right, back on subject: Gossiping about Erika. ”You know what? I bet that she’s at the bakery! She’s been spending some times there lately. In fact, I heard that she had the hoots for that guy working there. You know, the waiter? Tall, skinny, blonde?” Frickin’ hot and sexy ”Oh Goddess! Peter! Do you think they’re seeing each other? Or-or-or-or SLEEPING TOGETHER. IS ERIKA SLEEPING WITH A COLLEGE AGE GUY?” That would explain so much things! It wasn’t fair that SHE was the one to get around with older (meaning, popular) guys, but hey, at least that meant more time with Peter! She could eat her little pastries in a corner while he shared a sandwich with Peter during Luch!

Wait, what? “Your…mom made you lunch? Like… let us be clear, here. By ‘mom’ you do mean you r mother, right? Like, the older woman living with you? Not like, I dunno, the neighbour?” When had Peter’s mother ever DONE anything? For all he knew the only thing she did all day was eat and watch television…. He was so jealous of her. No way he could pull that off without gaining twice his weight. Same with Peter’s aunt! Not that he had seen much of her, but you would expect someone living in a manor and doing nothing like her to gain some weight, but no, they were both as slime as could be! Damn those Tamaki and their fast metabolism. ”I think I’ll pass… I’ll just eat whatever Mom or Dad gave me!” Not that he knew what it was. He had just grabbed his lunch bag before rushing out of the house. Curiosity soon got the best of him and he decided to check through it to see what he would be eating for lunch that surely would be better than whatever Peter had. Turn out… that it was nothing. Yep. Both his mother and father had forgot to make him a lunch and all that was in his bag were empty containing… What was up with his parents lately? He sighed and then threw his lunch bag behind him, hopping as to not hit any students… oh, who are we kidding; Wilhelm never thought about that. ”Oh second thought, I’ll just run to my uncle’s place and grab something there! Wanna come with me?” Memory of what was playing on TV the last time he visited John. ”On third thought… Never mind. I’ll take some of your sandwich, but you eat the first bite, okay?”
