Tonight was a nice, cold, brisk night in Nirvani. That time of year where most of the leaves were gone, but winter hadn't hit just yet. It wasn't Reed's favorite kind of climate, yet he was out and about regardless. Why? Well, just a couple hours ago, him and his lovely wife had left to go on their once a week date on the town. Like on their normal dates, they had gone looking around the town, even though it never changed, and then headed to the inn to eat, even though it was run by people that the man's wife had bad history with... However, it was also the only one in town, making it the only one they've been able to go to for their last nine years together. Blaire made no complaint not to go though, it was for there night out after all. Plus any awkwardness was easily fixed with a couple of drinks. Making their weekly event this time as normal feeling as any other. Reed would even say they enjoyed their-selves, why else would they keep going back? And tonight was no different, after an exciting conversation with the waitress about how it was like to work here all these years and a much needed conversation with his wife that wasn't about the kids, the man had a lot of fun. And now, like every week, the couple were on a nice walk through town on the way back home. A walk that Reed became less willing to do as the cold air became more abundant, yet was a little to drunk to complain. Not that he was staggering about in a drunk fit, unable to control himself. Just that it distracted his mind just enough to focus on just cozying up to his wife. Which was brought them here to the fountain. The man always seemed to end up at the fountain. But tonight, it was with Blaire warmly snug under his arm and close to his chest. Sure it was a cute and loving gesture they often did, but for tonight, it was cold, and Blaire was warm to the touch. "Were lucky that place has good food," Reed began to continue the conversation they had been having since they left. It was usually about the town's lack luster night life, "Otherwise no one would keep going." It really was nice that at the very least it was a nice place to eat. If it meant getting away from the girls, Reed was really willing to eat anywhere though. Ah... The girls. Reed paused their walk as the reached the fountain as a thought struck his mind. He tugged his company toward a nearby bench, "Let's take a break, the girls can wait." It would be boring to just head back now.

It was a weekly thing, and normally one would grow tired of the same thing, but Blaire looked forward to this night alone with her husband. A night that was cold, and if it wasn't for a few drinks, she would be regretting the choice of wear she had. The night was cold, one could not deny it, but the woman, like any wife on a date, wanted to look nice, even if hours later she'd regret it. But alas those thoughts didn't even reach her mind, because A) the drinks, and B), well she had a warm husband to snug to. "So true. Or well... not really? It is the only place to eat out after all" said the woman, walking along with him. It had been irritating at first, but eventually Blaire accepted it. Besides the idea of going out with Reed every week won over any discomfort instantly. Of course the slightly drunk couple were met yet again with a town to themselves. It could be a little creepy... but it was more peaceful than anything. And that was way more than could be said during the day.
Blaire nodded, taking a seat at the bench, and cozying right back under her husband's arm. "It's our night out, they can definitely wait. Besides they get you all week" said the woman in a teasing tone at the end. Though it wasn't much farther from the truth. If it wasn't homework or just looking after them, it was something else. Perhaps extra visitors and more. Sure they got their alone time, but when did a couple get as much time alone as they wanted? "You are mine tonight" Blaire said, with a slight giggle as she nuzzled her head against his neck... that was where she reached after all, a hand going to hold his. So it was a weekly thing, and they still acted like teenagers about it, if it kept them happy...

After the two sat down, and Blaire got cozy in his arms, Reed got comfortable by crossing his legs. This was not only the way his legs felt comfortable, but it somehow kept them a bit warmer. "They're very high maintenance girls after all," He responded with a sigh. Really, they we're the cutest things in the world, but... Even their oh so cute love for daddy was very hard to keep up with. Erika was always clingy, but lately she's been a lot harder to deal with. Though of course, Reed would never tell his beloved daughter to grow out of that phase, it was unthinkable! Even though it was definitely needed. Reed shook the thoughts out of his head. Lately his mind kept going on these tangents... He looked down at his wife who had just cuddled even close to him and smiled. He clasped her free hand with his and kissed the top of her head lightly. "That's pretty sneaky, I didn't know you were competing with the girls as well," He gave his wife a grin, "Acting all lovey and childish the second they're out of range." Of course Reed wasn't complaining. He loved this side of Blaire. Since he was always acting twenty years older than he was, it was nice that she brought him into a state where he could act more childishly.

High maintenance was right... but Blaire was probably as guilty as Reed in not wishing it any other way. They were pretty darn cute after all... when they weren't arguing and yelling at each other. Surely they had no qualms picking their fights in front of her... Oh just part of motherhood. Speaking of them... "Oh I have to be. Three girls, one guy. You honestly didn't think we'd share, did you?" teased the woman returning the grin. "Of course I like to think I have a pretty decent advantage." Nothing compared to him, just having three girls vying for his attention. He should enjoy it for now because eventually he'd just be stuck with Blaire. Or, if it was looked at the other way, he had to struggle to divide himself for three girls. The latter made the woman feel better, but it was clear it was the other way around. "Besides, you know you like it~" replied the woman, cuddling once more to her husband. Hey it was cold...

Reed couldn't help but laugh at Blaire's comments a bit. "I guess I'm a lucky guy," Luckier than most. Had a beautiful wife and two very adorable girls who loved him very much. And none of them were crazy. He always felt bad for Lucas and Alt, sure they had nice families... But, they just seemed like to much work. One had eight kids, and the other... Skyla was to much of a hassle to think about. Though, she was easy enough to pawn off on Brooke. Probably why Alastair kept coming over... Messing up the house... Reed snapped himself out of his thoughts once more, well, his wife snapped him out of it when she huddled up close. He chuckled once more, "It's not the worst." He definitely liked his wife's attention. "Though being popular has it's difficulties you know..." Reed said very 'aloof', looking a way with a large grin. He then leaned into his wife's shoulder a bit and brought his hand, along with hers since he was holding it, and warmed it up with his breath. "We need a warmer way to be alone on date night," Winter really wasn't the man's season. In fact, it could easily be said that it was his least favorite of all the season.

Once upon a time Blaire would find that reaction silly... and she still did, but it was in a way cute. "Of course, it must be such a tough job" Blaire said, going along with his, aloof way. Now as much as she would've loved to stay in this spot with her husband, one had to face reality... and temperatures. They were in nearing winter, and it was very very cold. Having Reed mention it, well just now Blaire was really regretting her traditional dress. "Well I can think of a few ideas... but what do you propose?" Aside from getting out of here before they froze. Nothing like some cold air to mellow that drunken stupor that had her ignore the outside temperature. Perhaps they could blame the time? It hadn't been so cold when they left the house, and certainly not at the restaurant. Well before they actually decided what to do, essentially moving away from here, the woman joined in on warming their hands with her breath. It felt nice after all~

"Oh?" Reed replied as he heard she had some ideas, "Hm..." The man began to ponder the possibilities. It was kind of late to find somewhere to warm up in town. Late... What time was it anyway? He brought the hand that was still holding Blaire's close to his face so he could look at his watch. It was already past eleven... He rubbed his wife's shoulder with the hand he had around her and than patted it, getting up almost abruptly afterward. He stretched a bit and then turned back to the woman with out saying anything. Then he held out his hand and gently grabbed her wrist, pulling her up and into him. "The girls should be asleep," Brooke was still young and Erika didn't like to stay up late. Something about beauty sleep. So as long as these two were quiet, "We can spend a little quality time at home." His grinned returned as her wrapped his arm's around his wife's waist and lifted her up, spinning him and her one cycle and putting her down in the opposite direction they had started. "What do you say?" He said keeping the woman in his embrace. She was cold after all.

"Got something yet?" asked the woman as he got up, right before he pulled her into him, to which she giggled slightly. "Oh?" She was liking the sound of that. They were lucky that those two, tho a handful during the day, had uninterrupted nights. Now peace at home, just the two of them~ Maybe find something to drink there. And-Those thoughts were interrupted by both what he said after and the little spin. To that she did giggled continuously. "Reed~" she said between giggle and spin. "I say... What are we waiting for?" grinned Blaire, keeping her arms around the man's neck. Wasn't she cold still? Not so much in this warm embrace, but the idea of continuing their date was just enough to have her leaving it. Well not entirely, because if someone thought she wouldn't walk home snug under her husband's arm, well they'd be sadly mistaken.

It was nice that they could still be so playful at their age... Ah, they we're still young weren't they? Well of course Blaire was the embodiment of young, he on the other hand, always had trouble discerning how old he really was. Ever since he started raising his daughter he always felt like an old man. What a pain it was... Not only for him, but for his wife as well, who constantly reminded him of how old he really was. Just like this moment did. He smiled and gave her a kiss before they began to head home, "Then lets get going." After he spook he gave her a small pat on her behind and let her out of the embrace, only to pick her up like bride on her wedding day while her arms were still around his neck. "Let's go little lady," An old way he had used to addressed woman before, but was no specifically for her. Luckily Reed was still just drunk enough that his sense of endurance was skewed a bit, allowing him to carry his beloved back home. It didn't hurt that Blaire her self was petite. -Exit Reed and Blaire to Page Residence-

It didn't take long for Erika to get ready and leave her house for the promised white day date. She actually did it in a rush, wanting to avoid any run ins with her father, who would be way more than just upset with her going out with a random guy. Actually, she wasn't very excited to be out with a random guy either. She thought she would be, but the girl never really got along well with strangers. It would have been nice if it was one of the guys from her class, but luck gave her someone else. And she had to deal with it! That's what she told herself over and over as she arrived at the meeting place. She had on a white long sleeve shirt, light blue vest, and a denim skirt over black leggings, and on top of it all a white puffy coat to keep her warm. Around her outfit was a small black purse she clutched nervously as she arrived. Her heart was racing and she could feel her cheeks start to turn red. She couldn't tell if she was excited or nervous, or just down right terrified. Yet, she shook any negative thoughts from her head and took a seat on a bench in front of the fountain. She tried to huddle up close to herself to keep warm while she waited for her date.
