He is the second child of four. When he was a kid, he always was on the rebellious side, always getting into fights at school and ditching classes as much as he could. When he turned 16, he's parent had enough of his bad behaviour and sent him live with his paternal grandfather who was the foreman of a mine on the other side of the country. Although he hated his parents at first for sending him directly to hell, he ended up loving it. It wasn't as much the mining that he loved but the transformation of the raw ore into a refine one and then transforming it into tools and jewellery. After four years living over there, he returned to his parents house, where his maternal grandmother was now living. The two of them were total opposite and clashed on separated occasion.
However, they both have a deep love and respect for the other. When Gladice's, his grandmother, health started to deteriorate because of the bad air of the city, she slammed her cane on his head and yelled at him to find her a way to move back to her native island, Nirvani. Little did he know was that she would be forcing him to live with him. Reluctant at first, he knew that it was because she was lonely and also to let him move out of his parents place to find one of his own.
While Living on the island, he met two very important people. Kade Waldroup and and Eleanor "Ellie" Vatonage. Spending two years trying to decide who he really wanted to be with, he finally chose Ellie, despise already being in a relationship with the male, leaving him in the worst possible way possible: With a sticky note on his front door.
Less than a year after marrying Ellie, the two of them had a little boy. This wasn't exactly their first children, for Ellie had a daughter, Rune, from a previous relationship. Through the years, Yoakim kept going as the very typical, traditional family father, trying his best to raise his children, Wilhelm and Rune, whom he had officially adopted, and to be as nice to his wife, Eleanor, and her sister, Blair, as he could. He , however, slowly turne a bit more strict on Rune and a bit less on Wilhelm. Oh, not because one wasn't really his child while the other was! Oh, no! Simply because Rune was a girl who was now going to school and he just knew that all those little boys around her were all little perverts-in-becoming wishing to impregnate her!
Him and Kade DID get to a certain understanding. Mainly that, while not really being friends anymore, they didn't need to hate each other that much and it would be better for everyone's sanity that they would just, ignore each other when they were in the same place at the same time, rather than fight.
Not that long ago, Yoakim's grandmother, Gladice, passed away from a brain aneurysm, surely given to her from all the stress of her job to deal with the eccentric Mayor's family. It was a sad day for all the inhabitant of Nirvani, and not a single wedding had as much attendance than her own. Perhaps a bit too stereotypical of him, he decided to take up her grandmother's fight and to become the Town's Representative in order to protect the island from Gaston.... who ended up dying the day after from a heart attack.
Still, there were more crasies in that family and, while it was now a calmer time, he knew that one day, and evil as great as Gaston would rise, and when that moment came, he would be there to face it. Still, all the time he took preparing for it cause a strain on his relationship with his wife, who was also getting more and more busy and stressed with her new work, and other things. The once overly happy couple is now at an all time low. ღ History: The third child of Allen Vatonage and Sarah Laurel, Ellie is a creative woman. Her childhood was a little rocky due to her elder sister's antics when she was just a child. Because of that she was a quiet and timid teenager with a very well developed artistic talent. Though being sheltered as she was, Ellie had quite the naive mind... and her parents didn't help much there. That was what brought some problems when she was 17. She met a youth in a town activity and it ended on her being drugged and raped by him. It took her a while to get back on her feet, especially when she learned she was pregnant from that time. In turn Eleanor decided to study as a lawyer, following her parents footsteps and raise her daughter, Rune, by herself. She was soon left with Blaire as their parents moved to the city to manage their law firm. Life on the island had been simple, up until meeting Yoakim, with who she eloped after two years of tiptoeing around each other. That bold move had them moving to Canada, where she gave birth to their son Wilhelm. It wouldn't be a long stay though, since Blaire's troubles brought her back to the island. She had finished her studies, balancing her roles as wife and mother, simply living each day peacefully.
Peace had been interrupted by a figure Eleanor would rather not know of. It was just her luck the male who changed her life moved to the island as well. Never having to deal with seeing Rune's father after that night, well it was no surprise she didn't know how to handle it. For a couple of years, her mixed feelings hadn't been a problem, nothing a few pills couldn't fix. And so at the end of her twenties, Eleanor had become a nervous wreck that depended heavily in painkillers. It had gone unnoticed at first, but it wasn't until a good scare that brought the woman back to reality, and taking the steps needed to put her mind in the right place... for the most part, there are a few off days every now and then.. Still she had two kids and a husband to take care of after all. Both of whom were beginning to drive her a bit insane. Wilhelm had never learned the definition of taking a break, and Rune was slowly distancing herself. It's nothing to raise a national alarm about, but if you add the further troubles in her marriage? She was quite aware of the recent halt it had gotten. Things weren't the same between the two lovebirds as they were those fifteen years ago, and it showed.

The woman is much quicker to express her voice and be heard, though she is still a bit slow on things she shouldn't be. Her demeanor is still quiet, but by choice. ◊ History: A curious child, this is Ellie's daughter. The girl is the splitting image of her mother, which under the circumstances is a stroke of luck. Her childhood was, lively to say the least. Between her mother's romance mishaps, continuously being stolen by Gaston, or pandas, and so much more. Rune always laughed it off and welcomed those adventures. The big one was moving to Canada when her mother and now step-father eloped, to later have a little brother. The girl had been excited by the thought... which was then crushed by the boy not wanting anything to do with her. Ever since Wilhelm was born, Rune had gotten that tiny feeling that had lost priority. Not in all that cliche that a new kid was born, replacing, and all. It was mostly because the kid was so much louder than her she just stopped trying. Of course the moment she did, her life was beginning to be met with some new friends, school, and a very neurotic step-father. But every girl went through that, didn't she? Telling herself that for five years seemed to work... Though her childhood was a pretty nice one, Rune can't say the same for her teenage years. They hadn't been filled with angst or anything, but she has had a few things to deal with.
Ever since the death of her grandmother, well step-great-grandmother... she was never one for proper titles, things felt off. It wasn't until she overheard a conversation between her aunt and mother about her father that the girl started questioning. Now that couldn't have been at a worse time, with her mother's mind slipping in and out. Those years had been a bit scary on the girl, before being sat down and talked to. She had taken the news surprisingly well, much to Ellie's relief. It wasn't like Rune had much of a reason to dwell on it, since Yoakim had taken into the father role quite well. A little too well... Which might've been the reason they had been butting heads ever so often lately. The male had become too strict on her, and less on Wilhelm, which infuriated the teenager. It came to the point where she was spending time out of the home with her friends, even venturing to be with her father, who happened to be around the island. Well not really be, since she hasn't developed the guts to talk to him about it. In all, she finished school and is now working on becoming a nurse. She doesn't plan on leaving to study, even if worlds collide with her and Yoakim pretty often at home. Life isn't peaceful yet for Rune, there's always something lingering, which is probably why she's always trying to fix it.

About: Wilhelm's birth was one you would find straight out from a Soap Opera. Really, Days of our Lives hold nothing to the romance that Yoakim LeBlanc and Eleanor Vatonage had. Dropping everything behind them, including a boyfriend for him and an under age sister for her, the two love bird ran away to Canada in order to get married. Less than a year later, little Wilhelm came out crying!
...And Crying he never stopped. Or rather, screaming. Unlike his half-sister (not that he knows that), Rune, who was calm and pretty, Wilhelm was... Well, to put it lightly, his parents should have put it on Ritalin the moment he was born. Never wasting a moment to run around the house and screaming as loud as his lung could, he sure brought in energy. Perhaps of how... noticeable the child was, he quickly cought the attention of the then-mayor to become a playmate of his daughter. It was there that Wilhelm spent most of his afternoons before entering school, and, from his words, "it was just damn cool!". He could play with everything he wanted, run as fast as he wanted and even eat as much as he wanted! Even more, this was were he also met the one boy that would become his "best friend for life", that is, Peter Tamaki.
Such wonderful times those were! They would never stop, now would they? Well...they did. One day, more than half of the Mayor's family disappeared (some blamed his brother of murder, others blamed the 4 years old daughter of "eliminating the competition", with that family, all was possible) and Wilhelm found himself lacking his second best friend for life. How could this happen? How could a "friend for life" not be there anymore? The little boy didn't quite understand what was happening, but he sure did understood one thing. People could leave you. People would leave you! His friend had probably left him because he refused to play with her that one day! This couldn't happen again! He would have to make sure of it! And how to be sure someone didn't leave you? By being super clingy and over protective of them, of course! Of course, as he grew up, he wasn't conscious of that behaviour, nor that he remember anything of how it had came to be, but it was still there.
Now a teenager, Wilhelm strives to make as many friends as possible, never having enough. When someone react negatively to his... "advances", it will make him nervous to the point of acting like a fool in order to "impress" that person. When someone who has already establish a friendship with him refuses to hang out, it will stresses him up to the point where he will be lacking sleep at night, thinking over and over as to why that person said no.Worst, when they choose to hangout with someone instead, it can endup with him crying alone in his bedroom or his grandmother's office at the school (but only when she isn't there).
Still, on the surface, he shows to be a very well balanced young boy with a good crowd of friends. Two of which strikes out among the rest. Peter, his child hood friends who still to this day remain his closes friend, and John, his cousin on whom he had developed a serious crush, not giving a flying F. if they were related or not. It wasn't like if they were related by blood anyway, and even if thy were, two guys didn't have much odds of making a baby with failed genetic, so in his mind, all was good. Too bad John was oblivious as one could be, and 100% straight. That is another thing about Wilhelm. If someone was to ask him what's his sexuality is, he would reply straight right away, even though he is well aware of being attracted to boys and not feeling anything for girls. He just haven't made the connection yet, and just go for what feels natural to him.
Growing up, Wilhelm devolved talent for two things. The first is playing soccer, which helps him release all that pent up energy (and see hot guys in the shower after), and the other, is annoying Rune, his sister. It IS, after all, his role as a younger brother to rat her out everything she does something that daddy or mommy doesn't approves of! Like wearing a short skirt or hanging out with boys.
