Indulges in metal, and leather accessories, including but not limited to, a three strand wallet chain, three wrist bands; two leather, the third, poly-nylon, a thin chain necklace with a small pokeball emblem he'd bought at a gaming expo, and a studded leather belt.

As an 8-bit hero, Jeff dons the signature threads of the PoKemon Red/Blue protagonist, though his color template is more true to his GBC offspring. Few features beyond Jeff's face, and body frame carry over, and his clothing is proportionate to his size; Oddly enough, much of his metallic leather accessories managed to stay with him, giving his Ketchum get-up a more goth-boy undertone.
How do you know Dave and ‘The Gang’? Jeff met Dave on Xbox Live; He won him over, after an unceremonious afternoon of pwnage playing Call of Duty. It was through those initial wasted bullet casings, and epic frag-fests that they became friends, and eventually came to realize they lived in the same town, went to the same High School, and even shared a past ex-girlfriend. They've been chums ever since.
Background and Personality: Jeff took a job as a game tester after an internship at the development company opened his eyes to a drug-test free world, wherein he could enjoy mountains of down-time. He'd grown up with them all, from Asteroids to Zelda, Final Fantasy to Fire Emblem; he'd had a joystick glued to his hands from the day he could define the word 'thumbs', so it was only naturally to take the easy way out in college, and settle for an entry level job that let him smoke all the weed he wanted, listen (and play) to all the metal he should stand before ears bled, and loose himself for hours in HD Gaming heaven. So the day he decided to stop by Dave's for a little chat as to why he was mopping up game rooms solo, he was less surprised and more ecstatic over the 8-bit revamp he received as a result.

Character Name: Alex Jones
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Appearance: Alex stands at six feet in height, brandishing a powerful build that suggests commitment to the gym and a healthy lifestyle. When it comes to how Alex presents himself, one might say that he looks quite mainstream and, for the lack of a better word, hire-able. Closely shaven at all times, he also prefers that to keep his light brown hair closely cropped and spiked with product. Due to his rigid weightlifting schedule and meticulous grooming, many people make the mistake of labeling Alex negatively. This is the opposite. Akin to his little sister, Morgan, Alex has a pair of striking green eyes that he does not hide or downplay. The young man has high cheek bones and a strong chin, denoting attractiveness and good bone structure.

As an 8-bit hero, Alex finds himself wearing the same garb as Simon Belmont from the first Castlevania game, accentuating his lean, muscled, build. He dons brown armor over his torso while encased in black leather from his shoulders to well above his knees. There seems to be a pouch, at his belt, from which the traditional sub-weapons materialize, yet he will feel physical pain if he tries to access them without sufficient heart energy. If he survives this, he is most certainly going to break out in very uncomfortable places--thanks to his new outfit.
How do you know Dave and ‘The Gang’? Alex is Morgan's older brother and Dave's cousin. It has been some time since Alex has hung out with the group, however, as marriage and a child on the way has caused him to drift away from his gamer friends. In truth, it has been over a year since Alex attended the last games night. As a result, Alex is an outsider within the group and hasn't developed a strong rapport with those he is not related to.
Background and Personality: When he was a kid, Alex and Morgan spent many of their weekends with Dave. Dave would also bring his console systems to their Grandmother's home on holidays so that the three of them could game out on the NES, SNES, or Sega Genesis all day long. There are many good memories attached to gaming and Alex thought those days would never end. Yet, as he developed during adolescence, they did begin to end. Alex shed his ugly duckling appearance around the age of sixteen and began to play sports. The gaming fests and sleepovers became fewer and further between.

Upon graduation from High School, Alex left their hometown and returned four years later as an accountant, looking more in shape than when he left--football scholarships had paid his way through university. There were, of course, Christmases when Alex came home and reconnected with Dave, yet summers were often spent working abroad. Alex also returned with his fiancee; Alyssa, who did not gel with his friends. Subsequently, the visits lacked frequency. Every other Tuesday and on some weekends, would hang out with Dave and the gang. Yet, after being home for a year, and somewhere during the mad rush of wedding planning, he stopped coming by. Alex is now married, with a child on the way. Making the choice to give up social gaming and become a family man, Alex has come with Morgan to his final game night. While Alex misses simpler times and being with his friends, he is ready to move onto the next phase of his life with no regrets. But, for tonight, it's time to get his retro on with the gang!

Alex is down to earth and kind to just about everyone he meets. While kindhearted and gentle, he is very protective of his little sister and has not been afraid to inflict some pain when others have hurt her. Alex has also been known to have a witty, not to mention sarcastic, sense of humor, especially when he drinks. In essence, Alex is a gentle gym rat with a rapier wit and cunning intellect; the nerd-jock hybrid.

Other: Alex has always been a devoted Castlevania fan, owning and beating every title. This might explain why his 8-bit form became that of Simon Belmont.

Appearance:An average Joe in town. Blake has short black hair, 5 o'Clock shadow and a tan complexion. Standing at 5'6 and 150lbs, he's not too skinny, but not cut like an athlete either. If anything, he's the definition of 'good enough'

When in 8-bit hero mode, his body is more defined and he's also slightly taller. Wearing is best character's iconic clothing, he sports Ryu's signature red headband and white gi.
How do you know Dave and ‘The Gang’? Blake was Dave's roommate throughout college. Paired randomly in the college computers, they found out they shared the same interests in old-school games and got along well enough. Other than their shared love of games, they didn't really have much in common. The only reason they stayed roommates for 4 years is because they're both too lazy to find other ones. Blake has joined The Gang on various gaming sprees, and is quite comfortable with this group of friends. One thing to note is that he avoids interacting too long with most of the gals. This is because he's aware of the history between Dave, Callum and almost every other female in the group. He does seem to have a soft spot for Jeanina, though he would never admit it sober.
Background and Personality:A strict follower of the way of the "Dude", Blake is one of the most chill gamers you'll ever meet. Always willing to go with the flow, he never seems to create conflict among the group, instead always managing to calm everyone down when conflict does appear. On a weekly basis, Blake does happen to partake in a certain type of plant, though he swears it's medicinal and that he has the prescription to prove it. This does tend to rub the rest of the gang the wrong way, but he pays it no mind since he's never doing it in front of them nor pressuring them to join him. However, he can get a bit carried away when playing fighting games, which happen to be his favorite genre. He's been known to get a little overaggressive, though one word from his friends usually snaps him out of it.

Other:Can get carried away in fights, won't stop until his opponent or himself is knocked out. Also, no one besides Dave seems to know what Blake does for a living, since the only time anyone sees him is during Tuesday game nights.

Character Name:Novogus Koog
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Appearance: Long messy black hair only defines his attitude and style, I don't care. He usually wears a long sleeve black shirt with a skull on it and a short sleeve over shirt, you know, the ones that button up? Black jeans and a chain wallet only make him seem more like the style he prefers: Free. With brown eyes and broad shoulders, a handsome smile and fit body, everyone expected him to be the ladies man and be an athlete. However, he was born with a computer keyboard in one hand and a game controller in the other. His body comes from his islander heritage, everyone's buff we're he comes from. Any jewelry he wears usually contains skulls. His favorites are his thread necklace with a skull carved from a tiger bone hanging onto it and his metal skull and crossbones ring. His very tan skin, which is also hereditary, only proves his ethnicity.

If anyone were to look at him without his long sleeve shirt they'd see his body pretty cut up from his suicidal and severe depression days. Cuts coming from up the arm to the sides to his chest and his stomach, all self inflicted.

In his 8-Bit body, things certainly took a large change as hair turns from black to blond and his brown eyes become a very light blue.. He becomes younger turning into a 16 year old and he wears the same garbs as his favorite character Isaac from Golden Sun. Including a sword and yellow scarf. It'll take him awhile to get used to the red chest-plate and chain-mail, but the leather gloves and boots do feel nice.
How do you know Dave and ‘The Gang’? High school buddies and classmates. As well has his savior during one of his would have been successful suicide attempts. Koog would escape from his abusive parents and hide at Dave's house until he was 18. Then he moved out of his parents house into his own apartment. He still drops by when he can but with juggling video gaming, sleep, college, and work, it's a bit hard.
Background and Personality: Coming from a small island called Pitcairn Island. Koog was a stranger in a foreign land. Moving here when he was 11 he already had broad shoulders, was very tall for his age, and a bit more muscular then his other classmates. It only made the foreigner feel more of an outcast. Everyone expected him to be a hard working athlete, and have all the ladies flock to him. However he found the keyboard, mouse, and screen more entertaining. It was Dave who introduced him to video games when they met each other in high school. He adapted and learned fast, and soon rivaled Dave with his skills at games. It wasn't until he was 17 did he come to accept himself for who he was, gay. Four years of severe depression and suicide attempts have left his body, mind, and soul a bit beaten up. He may have looked like a rock on the outside but on the inside he was a wilting flower.

But with the help of Dave he managed to break through it. So now he stands proud and tall at 21 with a strong body, and a strong soul, with a very intelligent mind.

He tends to express things in a strange way. Comparing things to real world items. Like back during his depression days, when his emotions were getting out of control he would tell someone he was 'Going Critical' or 'Overloading' and he'd imagine his emotions like a nuclear reactor inside him. He imagines his mind and heart as a giant iron fortress with 10 thick steel walls. To him and only those close to him like Dave, can he be understood when he talks that way.

Only Dave knows of his dark history and has seen the face that hides behind the metaphorical mask that Koog wears. As well as witness his abuse and even saved him from the one time he hung himself. He considers Dave more like a guardian angel then a friend.
